[ Kaworu shows up to the network with his familiar smile. What isn’t familiar, it’s his plugsuit and the headset (it’s better than showing up naked). He is currently in front of the castle, which means he is back from his canon update. ]

Hello. I have been in Asgard before, but I’m not sure how long it has been since I left. [ or who is around ] I’m still in Sigyn House and I still have my healing power. [ since he can’t grow anything, by exclusion, he gets the Healing ]

[ there is a pause, as he looks around, perhaps trying to figure out where to go. In the end, he heads towards Odin District, turning to the bracelet one last time and smiling brightly ] It’s good to be back.

[ he does like this place, a lot. And with a smile, he finally turns off the video ]

[In the Hel district, Alice is sitting on the ground, dress poofed out as she is, with a drawing in her lap. Her hands are a little bit dirty from the graphite; ever so reluctantly, Alice displays it.]

Back in London when I was - well, where I wasn't important - I would draw. But it didn't feel like it does now. It feels soothing... in a way. I'm sure it sounds very silly to say that. It is true, however. It is wonderful to draw again without a bout of melancholy attached to it.

I have tried some paints. I am still not sure... I don't think I'm that very good compared to some artists I've seen sketching away or at an easel with their paints. The mineral oil used to dilute the paint gives me a headache. I don't know what would substitute it, but I want to try!

You see?

[Okay, so she's a little excited. Off to the side, Alice just flashes to a board she was painting on.]

I am... still not that used to it. As I told someone else, this is the most independence I've had in my life.

[ooc; The first drawing is canon, it's from the casebook that came with the first game and the second one was actually my oil painting final, haha.]

[ There would have been silence, network, silence as he debated long and hard if he should even ask. (Pride, what tatters of pride.)

Though there is also, too, wondering if maybe he should even let anyone know he's there at all.

In fact, if you happen to be passing by near the palace where newcomers can show up -- hey, that little alley there. There, that one. Is that... why yes. There seems to be a slightly... frazzled looking (but well-dressed!!) white-haired hobo trying to be inconspicious and sitting with his back to the wall? With a fat sort of yellow not-canary kind of round... blobthing with wings on his shoulder. Fatter, even, if you knew Timcanpy before, although Allen seems a little more gaunt and most definitely sporting a ponytail now. And he seems to be fiddling with a strange sort of bracelet not the traditional Asgard-issue one when, well—

oops.

There's an electric flash from the other-bracelet and a yelp. (Is that like a... shock collar in the form of a bracelet? Yeah. Yeah it is.)

Son of a... FINE HE'LL CHEW YOU O—

....... ]

Does anyone know how to get electronic handcuffs off?

[ Ugh.

Hi. He's back. ]

[ Link never posts unless he has a good reason, or a question he thinks is thought-provoking. This time, it's more of a searchlight, so to speak. ]

Allen Walker and Kaworu Nagisa are hereby marked as missing. The former has the tendency to wander as he pleases, but never for periods as long as this. As for the latter, I don't know if this is his habit, but it seems unlikely because he owns two cats. Walker has been gone for at least a week; Nagisa for a day or so. Allen Walker's golem, Timcanpy, is missing as well, but presumed to be with Walker.

Allen Walker has white hair, grey eyes, and a scar on the left side of his face. Kaworu Nagisa has white hair and red eyes. Both are of the Sigyn House. If anyone sees Walker, tell him that I'm displeased that he left without a word. If anyone sees Nagisa, tell him that his cats miss him and that I make a terrible substitute of an owner.

And I should also suppose this means either they are grey, missing, or have gone back to their respectable worlds. However, all their possessions are still here, leaving me to assume they probably will return here.

What is the longest the person has disappeared for? Should I stop assuming after a month or longer? If anyone does have any information pertaining to either person, send a message to Howard Link. Thank you.

Broken Filter to Allen Walker;
I cleaned your room in your absence because there were too many crumbs for my liking. The furniture thinks you have been gone too long.

[ early afternoon, itsuki carefully seems to be setting clear resin into a little mold. After that, though, in goes a light blue flower and over that goes more resin. she works fairly quickly and with gloves, waiting for a brief moment before covering her new creation. she waits a good moment before smiling, feeling distinctly proud of herself, and then looking to the camera. ]

Good afternoon, Asgard.

I'm not a very good cook, so I'm trying to keep myself out of everyone's way... I've kept myself occupied with looking at some crafts I can do here. At home, a good friend of mine made flowers that would never wither away. [ she smiles brightly, and holds up a flat resin pendent that has a pretty white daisy in the center, made into a necklace with a white leather cord. ] It's actually quite fun! I'm not sure what else you can put in resin, though.

Does anyone have any-- [ ideas would be her next word, if she could get it out. in a flash of yellow light, though, itsuki changes drastically; there's an idle "ah, that felt weird" before she looks down and sharply yells in surprise. ]

What--?!

[ in a flustered hurry, she turns off the video feed. ]

[ ooc: itsuki's curse will last until sometime during the utgard event (likely the 25th), and until then, she'll be stuck in her precure form. ]

[ All that shows on the screen is a pair of dark eyes, the skin around them smooth and fair-toned. One dark eyebrow is raised in a curious gesture. ]

What is this thing...

[ It pulls away to reveal, in full, a girl's face. She's pretty - and obviously pre-teen. Pink lips part slightly as she regards the screen with narrowed eyes. ]

And how did I get here~?

I'm bored.

[She says it with a good deal of emphasis, as if it's supposed to be ironic that she's bored with all of this Freyr talk.

It's because she is.]

Someone entertain me.

[There's a thoughtful pause as she taps her lips and suddenly sits up very straight, as if she's just gotten an idea.]

Ka~wo~ru~

You promised me a tea party ♥

[After being led out of the welcome room, map in hand and bracelet on his wrist, he just stands there. Completely dumbfounded. He turns on the video feed (just like how the lady showed him), but the moment the feed is up he looks like he forgot what he wanted to say. He reaches up with his other hand to touch the teal colored jewel that looks to be embedded in his forehead and blinks.

In fact he looks a little terrified.

Tearing away from the video feed he looks around him, for anyone he can talk to that doesn't look like the maid that helped him.]

I- I don't want to be here! I wanna go home! Someone take me home!

[Map in hand he inhales shakily.] What'm I supposed to do...

Where do we go when we dream?

[It is presumably late at night. And, presumably, someone is making a point of disrupting your sleep.

For a long moment, there is nothing but a blank feed. A bracelet that's been shoved under something, perhaps, or maybe even purposefully covered. The moment passes, however, and everything is a bit of a blur of light and color until Road turns it toward her. She is sprawled out on a bed, wearing nothing but a small white nightgown.

The view spins as she props it next to her, presumably on a pillow. She rolls fully into view, and sprawls out on her back.]

When I was a little girl, I used to travel all over the world with my family. England, and France, and Germany, and Portugal, and even Japan! Japan was my favorite ♥ [A soft giggle, as if something is absolutely hilarious about that.]

So when I dreamed, I dreamed of visiting those places with Papa, and Tyki, and Lero over and over again~

[She giggles again, and rolls over onto her stomach, propping her chin on her hands.]

Tell me about your dreams ♥

[ Here we have one Colonel Sebastian Moran, but if you know his face well, you'll notice a few differences. He's aged-- a good three years or so. And you've hardly had time to miss him! It isn't a mighty change by any means, but it is obvious. He looks a little tireder, there's more grey flecked through his hair, and his muttonchops might be a little bushier.

His muttonchops might even be bristling, really, because he isn't happy. He's standing in an empty room in the Thor district--his room, as the bullet holes in the wall behind him make pretty obvious. Unfortunately, no one's informed him that he's been moved to the Hel house in his absence.

Woops.
]

Where have my things gone? My books? My guns? My bloody wasps? [ You...want the wasps now? ]

Any time the sticky-handed little bastard wants to come forward. I'm sure I can find a way to reward you for your attempts with or without a weapon. Chop, chop, now. Be an honest fellow.

[Open Action]

[ And should you want to come find the distinguished older gentleman, you'll find him either

A. wandering around the Thor district until Thor contacts him to let him know that he's been kicked out :'| or
B. wandering around the Hel district.
]

{OOC| Shh I brought him back early. He's now been canon updated a couple of years.}

[ Hello, Asgard. It's been about two months since he really last used this. Doesn't say too much, does he? Not to mention he doesn't really speak unless spoken to. But since it seems as if everyone is going to be here a while longer, he might as well settle in. ]

Do I simply ask here whether or not anyone is hiring for a job? Until corrected I'll assume that. I am capable of secretarial and accounting skills, as well as in culinary arts. Hours do not matter too much as long as they're sensible.

I also have another question: aside from fighting in order to return to your own worlds sometime in the future, is there there anyone who actually cares about Asgard itself? About the gods? Are there people who would not mind staying here indefinitely? Would this place be better than your own world? Dying is not permanent, and one could make a comfortable living here, too. So would it matter to some people if they never went back?

[ Arthur hasn't been gone long. Many of you likely wouldn't have even noticed his absence at all. But he is returned now, just over a year older and with a new crown that he may or may not have stolen from Burger King is far more ornate than a Prince's coronet hanging in his hands. He may not be much older but he certainly looks aged. ]

It would seem this realm has not tired of its want for Kings and Queens.

[ A tight lipped smile. King Arthur of Camelot has just come from the middle of his coronation, and he is hardly amused. ]

I would ask a question of you, Travellers, if you care to answer. How many of you believed you would return home following the battle of Ragnarok, as was promised? How many of you were prepared for it? Wished for it?

[ A pause. ]

Are there any among you that held dread for the prospect, and are glad now to remain in this city for however long you might?

[ He did, once. Now, he is not so sure. He rolls the crown in his hands once, shifts. ]

Or - an easier inquiry, if you are not inclined to answer the other. How many have returned to their native realms, despite the unresolved conflict? Those of you that have made my acquaintance or would call yourselves my friends, I ask that you make known your presence.

[ Another beat, another tense smile. ]

I suppose Asgard is not yet finished with me after all.

and some action-y things, yay! )

[It's assumed that Draco is around somewhere despite not being on camera immediately, judging by the fact that when the feed starts travelers are greeted with a nice view of a bedroom wall absolutely covered in diagrams, charts, graphs, drawings and notes. Literally every square inch of the wall above the bed is covered in paper marked with random colored pens. It's assumed the rest of the room is set the same way. In the background, anyone listening can hear a coffee maker brewing a new pot.

War's never been one of Draco's favorite things, but the battles in Asgard have made him think of his home world and the situation he's in. He hates thinking about it, but he's started dissecting everything he knows…hence some of the charts that are overlaying some older charts. When Draco begins to speak, he's still out of the line of vision, if only because he can't exactly face the city just yet.]

…I know this man at home who's trying to, more or less, recreate the entire world. A perfect world where everyone's exactly the same and everyone who's considered less than worthy is punished severely if they're not outright killed immediately. [This is bad. This is a bad idea to be bringing this up, but Draco's full of bad ideas and bad decisions lately.] Actually, his favorite method is to torture them severely before sparing them and then murdering them with a flick of the wrist.

But the thing is, despite the fact he's more or less a slit-nosed homicidal freak, he has a large following. Many follow him out of fear, but there are just as many who follow out of loyalty. There are many people who actually, genuinely believe our world will be better if we follow his plan for destruction and reconstruction. It's messy and violent, and yet they go along with it anyway. Funny how that works, isn't it? One has to wonder why. [It's probably for the best that Voldemort's not around to hear that one of his servants is basically disregarding everything he's been taught. But after his last conversation with Jade? Maybe he really doesn't have to be constantly fearing for his life...maybe just every other day.

Let's get to the point, shall we? His hand appears in the frame of video and he's pinning a fresh piece of paper to the wall above the bed. He soon takes out a pen and in a neat, elegant scrawl writes something on the top of the page.

The art of persuasion and manipulation

His hand hovers in midair for a moment before he withdraws it.]

What is the fine line between persuading people and manipulating them? And, as a bonus question, what is the fine line between safety and fear? Sometimes I have to wonder if the rulers of this world aren't any different, what with having to do their bidding without even asking us. And yet we do it anyway because we're told it's better this way. [He knows it's a stretch, but it's still a valid point in his opinion.] As you can see, I've plenty of room on the paper so give me something worth writing.

[The view is an unglamorous one, little fingers fiddling with the bracelet, the underside of Mordred's chin, and then an awkward angle of lancelot as the man attempts to cook for the child much more interested in staring intently at him, asking questions, or fiddling with the things within his reach, like slices of fruits that he tries to reach in front of Lancelot for while the man is midcut]

[Gently, the knight pushes his hand away] careful now, you could get hurt this way. It won't be much longer. [Somehow, when the fighting ended and the smoke cleared, he just fell into the position of babysitter. He finds he doesn't mind it in the least, it keeps the horrors away.]

[That is met with a small frown, Mordred retracting his hand] Do you say that because you are a knight?

I say it because it's logical. [He turns to offer a small smile to the child, one that reflects in his voice] Many parts of the code are simply logical or courteous. You will do well to embrace them yourself. I'm certain Morgana will be pleased. [He has learned by now that that name is the magic word - no pun intended - when it comes to Mordred.]

[And that magic word does its trick, earning a little peek and a lean closer as if he could somehow read the answer in Lancelot's face if he stole a glance at the right moment. But alas, in the end he has to ask] What is the code?

The Code is what the knights live by, it is what teaches us how we must act in every given situation. Every man must have a code of some sort, even if you do not embrace the code of Camelot. For instance the code of chivalry - living by it would have you put the needs of others before your own, being respectful and protective. Try kissing Morgana's hand next time you see her, that is part of the code of chivalry I'm quite certain she'll enjoy. Pull her seat out for her, do not seat yourself until all ladies present are seated, open the door for her and allow her to go through first - they may seem like trifles to you, but they are important.

... [Mordred goes quiet at that. Yet even so it is clear on his face that the seed has been planted in his mind. As he returns to playing with his bracelet, he bites his lower lip in thought, distracted as he spins the thing round and round his wrist until he effectively ends the feed without knowing it.]

[ The storm sirens have been shrieking in the city for about a solid minute before the video feed starts on Thor’s ruddy and smiling face. He adjusts the bracelet where it sits on his desk and steps back, already pulling on some pretty ornate looking armor. ]

Sound the bells of war!

[ His voice is low and bellowing, but clearly pleased. This is one god visibly pleased beyond measure. ]

Those lot of you bellyaching to me before about having nothing to do? I expect to see you on the front lines with me!

[After getting his bracelet back, Dirk sighs and checks how long he's been native. Too long. He got caught up in robotics and anything else he could do to keep himself busy, and being so used to not needing sleep like a normal person, he got fatigued and disoriented and misplaced the bracelet. The question now, is what to do about his slip-up, so he types up a post to the network at large.]

A dude goes his entire life in motion.
Each night the sandman gets the bird and normal sleep just ain't a thing.
It makes for an intense fucking existence, but you get shit done.
Nothing lasts forever, though, and sandman gets the drop on him.
And in case it wasn't already clear as crystal, I'm talking about myself.
Putting the hypothetical bullshit to the side, I'm gonna get to the point.
How do you know when to stop moving before you're up shit creek without a paddle and adrift in a sea of gray faces?
Asking strangers for advice isn't a thing I do, but losing my bracelet was a pain in the ass and I don't want to do it again.

Anyway, I understand some shit's been going down while I was gone, so if you've got no words of advice fill me in on that. It'd be appreciated.

[ the camera focuses on France and when he's confident the bracelet is working right, he flashes a bright smile. ]

Bonjour, Asgard!

Very soon, I will begin preparations for Halloween! I think that's two days after today-?

[ he's not certain because of the time difference between Asgard and the other worlds, but at least it sounds right to him? ]

The magnifique Francis Bonnefoy, that is, I, shall be making the very best of French sweets for the citizens of Asgard to enjoy! I will also be showing off my fabulous costume and teach about Halloween for those who do not know of it, as well! I expect to see you there!

[See Road.

See Road eating a lollipop.

See Road eating a lollipop while perched on a churning washing machine.

See Road eating a lollipop while perched on a churning washing machine that is starting to very quickly overflow with frothy bubbles.

... most people would probably spend their first post blathering on about additional weird powers, or the lack thereof, or about how they may or may not have better things to do at home that they would rather be doing than whatever it is they are doing here.

Road is not most people.

And there are more important matters at hand, anyway. Such as:]

I want a new maid. Preferably one that isn't a stupid box.

[As well as:]

-- and a new dress. This one is wrinkled.

[Ladies and gentleman, Road Kamelot has entered the building.]

It's also advised that the residents of Hel should... probably watch their footing, lest they want to end up sprawling into the floor. But she isn't going to say that. Perhaps she'll get a show out of it.]

[[Residents of Hel, if you are passing by the laundry room and would like to nearly break your neck traversing soapy floors, or something, I am totally welcome to actionlogging!]]
