[An uncertain young boy(? - it's hard to tell; he's not especially feminine or masculine) shows up on the screen after a moment. Rion's not unused to technology, and even with the strange bracelet, he's able to figure out what's going on here and how to use it.

He doesn't say anything though, and about ten seconds later or so, a text message goes out.]

I was told it wasn't possible to go home...

[Rion frowns, upset even at typing this. Another message.]

The maid wouldn't answer me. Is there any way I can at least... send a message home, or something? I'm sure there's been a mistake and that I don't really belong here, but if you people are sure... I at least want my mom to know I'm alright.

[The device clicks on though the image does not immediately show the user. After a few moments of movement Kisa appears, her eyes a little puffy. To anyone it's clear she had been cry but since calmed herself enough to speak. Though she seems to still be trying to form her words more clearly. Taking a few breaths she timidly looks at the device, still not entirely sure what to do with it.]

...why was I brought here?

[She pauses looking at the floor.]

I can't fight or help this world...I just want to be with my family and Onee-chan.

[As the words left her she becomes a little more distressed. Being in a separate house is not something she wants in anyway.]

Can I just stay with them?

[Last words being more a whisper before she clicks off the device.]

((ooc: Just because I didn't mention Kisa is in Sigyn house.))

[The video flickers on to reveal a young man woman standing on a stage, ‘her’ long purplish-black hair falling luxuriantly down his back, the top coiled in intricate braids adorned with glittering jewels on his head and long bangs framing slate-gray eyes.

He’s not looking at the video, however. Instead he’s listening intently to an older man that’s talking to him, motioning across the stage with one hand. The actor nods, tales a step back, shakes his hair back, then sighs towards the actress near him, his movements flow with a natural grace, the expressions flawless as he recites his lines:]

“I did not take my leave of him, but had most pretty things to say: ere I could tell him how I would think on him at certain hours such thoughts and such, or I could make him swear the shes of Italy should not betray mine interest and his honour, or have charged him, at the sixth hour of morn, at noon, at midnight, to encounter me with orisons, for then I am in heaven for him; or ere I could give him that parting kiss which I had set betwixt two charming words, comes in my father and like the tyrannous breathing of the north shakes all our buds from growing.”

[A pause then, before Nezumi glides over to where his bracelet had been resting, waiting until he's close enough to wink playfully at the video, a knowing smirk slowly curving his lips.]

Just a tease, or a taste, my lords and ladies. For the rest, come to The Draupnir in Freyr District tonight, seven sharp!, to see Shakespeare's Cymbeline.

[Those who know her will notice that Nakama has gradually begun to look calmer and healthier - her face has regained its childish pudginess, and there's not so much tension around her eyes. Today, though, she looks like she's on a mission.]

Hello, everyone. With so many new people arriving, I thought now would be a good time to bring this up.

When I was new here, I went around and mapped out all of the businesses in the city, adding them to the map we got when we arrived here. At first I was just going to use it to help people find their way around, but I thought it'd be more helpful if everyone could have their own copy. I don't really know how to make a picture an attachment on these bracelets, so I just made some photocopies.

[It took most of her first paycheque, but she did it. She holds up her original - all of the districts and the landmarks are there, but this one is bristling with dots and notes (in Japanese and the shared Asgard language) stating what each dot represents. There are cramped notes about the size and content of each business as well. After enough time to get an idea of what the map looks like, she lowers it again.]

If you'd like one, just let me know your name and room number in your district, and I'll have it mailed to you. You can screen your response so that everyone doesn't find out where you live, and I promise I won't tell anyone.

Oh, and sorry about the Japanese... I just thought I should do that in case I ever forgot the language we speak here for some reason. It's all a bit cramped, but I hope it's legible.

The population seems to have suddenly increased recently, and I do not mean of the locals. [There's a hint of curiosity as well as slight concern in his voice when that's said. It looks to him that these Gods are getting more outside help and he almost has to wonder if it's really justifiable to bring in more people for their assumed cause. He understands the whole "strength in numbers" approach but when more than half of them don't understand what it is they need to do, it's just a little frustrating.]

Though it's rather pointless, I apologize for those of you that are new and expecting explanations on how to return home from those of us that have been here longer. The only real key to that seems to be our task of returning color and life to this world. The first wave of newcomers may only offer so many answers, though at least this might make it a little easier for a larger group approach at understanding our situation better.

But, I have a question, for anyone that is willing to answer it. It's hardly mandatory. We've all basically been assigned as "heroes" of this land, to assist the Gods and locals in a troubled and difficult time. If you were actually given the choice to say yes or no to their plea, what would be your response? [Just before he's about to end his question there, he decides to tack on a little something extra.] --not just in this case. Would you ever choose to be some kind of hero?

[The feed starts out a bit shaky-- trying to find the best angle, perhaps? It wouldn't do anyone any good if he started filming just his nose or something for however long he recorded. Talk about embarrassing.]

Hey, hey, does anyone know if there are any cellphone towers near this place? [That's a welcome hall, Yogi.] No matter where I stand, I can't seem to catch a good enough signal...

[By which he meant his usual numbers weren't being reached, and Yogi was not happy about that. More about not being able to tell Hirato all about this weird place he'd found himself in rather than a 'calling for help' type of situation, but still.]

-- ah!! Maybe this is a nightmare, and I'm still sleeping?! A colorless world, faceless people, and no cellphone connection... scary, scary! I'd really like to wake up now, please!
