[ First thing that pops up? A way too close up shot of Dawn's face as she's leaning as close to the network, her nose almost pressed to the holographic screen and she seems to be staring intently at something. It looks like she's fiddling around with her bracelet; when she's speaks, it's with the voice of someone way too close to the microphone. ]

This is so cool! Do we really get to keep this?

[ She doesn't seem to realize that this is actually broadcasting live, although she (mercifully) pulls away and calls out to someone off screen. ]

Giratina! Come and look at this!

[ Something huge and gigantic can be seen shuffling in the background as Dawn holds her her wrist towards it; it lowers its head and holy shit what the fuck is that thing. ]

Zelda, Link. Your whereabouts.

[Shortest voice post ever. Someone isn't very happy. And what self-respecting Sheikah would be, after discovering they've been inexplicably absent from their duty? None that Impa knew, that was for certain.]

[She's found herself in the Loki district on reawakening, and any passerby will find she's taken to the higher ground in order to best judge her surroundings and search for any familiar faces. Once she's reoriented, she takes off toward the Heimdall district, running from rooftop to rooftop. Woman's on a mission.]

[It takes Sheik only a few moments to figure out how the bracelet works, but some time longer to decide what to say.]

…It appears I have been captured and taken somewhere. The question is, by whom? A well-furnished prison cell is not exactly the Evil King’s modus operandi.

Our warden should know that I am just a simple subject of our great ruler Ganondorf. And surely, capturing me will cause him no loss of sleep. It would be beneficial for us both if you simply released me.

…Although, if you are an enemy of his, I would not mind.... ah… learning your name.

[Hey Asgard, have a familiar face filling up the screen -- or, well, half a face, since Link is a little too close. But aside from the eyes, he definitely looks like he could be the spitting image of a certain other green hatted kiddo you might already be familiar with as a resident of our good city. Isn't that peculiar?

Poor Link here hasn't a clue what he's doing, unfortunately. His expression is a mix of confusion and distress while he stares directly at the screen, finally coming into focus even as his hand waves over it, pressing things without any real purpose besides Let's See What Happens When I Do This. What's most alarming is that his face and clothes are caked with bits of blood, suggesting he's just come out of a rather brutal battle -- even if he's no longer actually hurt, and that's no less confusing than anything else that's happened since he woke up here. And the concept of Here is still pretty lost on him, caught up in his mess of worry about where Tetra's gone and what he should do now.

But aside from the occasional puzzled sound, Link doesn't say a word. In fact, the video is composed almost entirely of his staring at the screen, which is probably rather creepy. Someone clearly needs help using The Magic Screen here.

[ As the bracelet slips onto Zelda's wrist and the color returns to her eyes, the gem bumps against her skin and activates the voice function. ]

--but I looked all ... huh? [ The half spoken sentence dies on her lips as Zelda's conscious mind returns with her color. ] Where am I? This isn't the Heimdall house.

[ A voice speaks up near Zelda, but too far away for the words to be distinguishable. She falls silent for a minute as she listens to the guard's explanation of what befell her. ]

I lost myself? [ Her tone is clearly puzzled. ] But I don't remember anything like that. The last thing I remember was going out to look for my bracelet. [ Another pause. ] Then, I've been lost for almost two weeks?! [ Panic rises sharply in Zelda's voice. ] Oh, Link and Impa must be so worried. I'd better contact them. Thank you very much for your help, sir!

[ She turns on heel and hurries toward home, lifting the bracelet as she walks. It's then that she notices that it's already transmitting. ] Oh, it was on the whole time. [ She clears her throat. ]

Link! Impa! I'm here now!

What a dreary place this is.

[The man on the screen pauses in his speech for a moment, bringing his hand up and running his long fingers through his hair and allowing it to fall perfectly back into place over his face before speaking again.]

It seems like there’s always something out there interfering with my plans, be it the sky child or the Goddess’ lap dog.

[He lets out a long sigh as he wraps his arms around his body.]

I finally had the Spirit Maiden in my grasp, so close to finally reviving my master…and then this happens.

[Suddenly, he lashes out, throwing his arms to the side with a snarl on his face. He gestures wildly around him as he continues to speak.]

Just moments away from my master’s glorious return and the dawn of a magnificent new era! Ripped away from the ritual that would return me to his side…that would return me to my purpose

[Ghirahim’s entire body goes rigid for a moment before it relaxes completely, and he takes a deep breath in an attempt to calm himself down. He rubs his temple for a moment before bringing his hands back to his side and, after a few seconds, his expression shifts from rage to a more pleasant one.]

But I suppose all is not lost. If I’m here, there’s a chance that the Spirit Maiden is here as well. All that is needed is for me to locate her whereabouts and to learn the means of leaving this place. Neither of which should be too difficult for the likes of me.

[There is a flash of blue -- that's right, blue -- as the bracelet turns on. Fi is lying on her stomach, with her arms in front of her, bright blue orbs staring intently at the device as her fingers carefully pick at it. The young woman frowns slightly, her lips pursing together as her thin fingers try to pry the bracelet off.

It should also be noted that she is in the snow.

When the bracelet does not come off of its own accord, the woman chooses to refocus her attention on the hologram in front of her, speaking in a quiet monotone that, while being unremarkable, manages to sound almost musical at the same time.]

It appears that I have been designated a corporeal form for this universe. I am not sure why, or where, or how they managed to conjure such a thing to hold me, but I am going to find out. There is a 0% probability of failure.

[And that is said in something of a tone, with the slightest tilt of anger at the back of her throat -- before Fi pushes herself up onto her thin arms, to try and kneel on her knees.

Or tries.

She only falls onto her stomach again with a soft 'oomph'.]

... ... my communicator has informed me that the hero known as Link is present within the city.

I require his assistance.

Date: Day 7 (daytime)
--

[ Zelda has had ample time to toy with her bracelet and learn its functions (for the most part), so she is fairly confident when she begins her broadcast. She has taken the time to observe other people, to learn how and why they use their bracelets. She's even tried them out a few times to talk to other people, so it seems high time she made a broadcast of her own. ]

[ She smiles to the camera and offers a wave in greeting. ]

So, this place isn't at all what I thought the surface would be like. [ She muses aloud, then corrects herself. ] Or, well, I guess this isn't exactly the surface, is it? It's a whole different world from my own.

[ That's still so strange to her, the knowledge of completely separate worlds existing far removed from her own. ]

Oh, but there are an awful lot of people here! [ She adds, expression brightening. ] I've never seen so many before-- and so many people have such, strange small ears. Isn't it difficult to hear like that? [ She looks genuinely curious as she poses this question. ] How will you hear what this world's gods have to say with such tiny ears? That's what we're all here for, after all, right? It looks like a lot of people are going to have a hard time doing the gods' work.

[ The feed switches to video, and the expression on Link’s face is a bit dazed at first. He’s never seen a device like this! He’s seen a lot of amazing things during his adventures, but this is a first. ]

What?

[ He scratches the back of his head tilting it a little. His eyes wander around, gaze full of curiosity and amazement. ]

… He’s not here.

[ Another pause. The bird isn’t the only thing on his mind. There’s someone much more important. He fought so hard to save her. Where could she have gone? If he’s here, then there’s even a small chance that she could be here, too.... His brows furrow, expression determined, and slightly worried.

There's the letter that the God gave to him, but first thing was first: ]

Zelda. Has anyone seen someone by that name?

12 December 2011 @ 08:05 pm
[The feed clicks on to a... very interesting young man. Pointy ears, a weird outfit... the whole shebang. He seems to be reading over the letter again, just holding the device with the other hand. He's not exactly sure what it is, and he was just hitting random buttons. Lucky him that he hit it! ... Though, he doesn't notice that he actually turned it on.

Reading it over again and again, he just keeps repeating small little sections of the letter.]

"Restoring color and life"... ? [Well... He had to restore light to the Master Sword before. Not really the same, but... oh well.]

"In order to preserve this world and the one from whence you came"... [Wait, his world if already preserved. He did stop Ganondorf and Zant, after all. Separated the Twilight Realm from his own... What else was there?] "... you must flourish within this city."

[Uh... huh. He tilts his head, looking at the paper quizzically again, before finally saying--]

I don't understand.

10 December 2011 @ 02:55 pm
Okay, I think I have this working right... [The video clicks on to a kid messing with his bracelet. After a second, he's reassured that it's working and smiles at the feed]

Hey! I wanted to ask people here a few things. I know that there's a lot of people saying they lost powers and all that, but...well, has anyone lost just normal stuff? I had most of my items when I got here, but I'm still missing a few things. I think it was because the gods couldn't bring it all, but I'm not sure... [So other ideas would be good]

Oh yeah. And if anyone finds a friend of mine, Zelda, could you let me know? I don't think she's here, but it'd be good to know for sure. She's usually wearing a pink dress and has long blond hair and a crown. But sometimes she's in a big suit of armour that's pink in colour. [It's complicated]

I think that's all...oh! And I'm Link. I'm in Heimdall house, if she asks where to find me.

Thanks!
