I have never encountered a varied set of emotions. Specifically, sadness and grief. Despite this, I know there is a way to remedy them. I have seen it. I have thousands of instances of it recorded within my memory from observation and experience. They do not last forever. They are not permanent.

But I do not know how to remove them.

Is it a physical process? An emotional transformation?

I need to know in order to maximize my own efficiency within this city and work on returning to my own universe to fulfill my purpose.

It'd be nice, if I could have my powers because, because if I could then, maybe I could ask the dragon to please stop setting things on fire and, maybe come to a mutual understanding about the situation. Uh...

If, anyone needs any help, I'm not - [ he cuts himself off, that's not what he's supposed to be saying now. ] I mean, I'm confident and self assured so I'll do, uh, a lot to make sure that everything ends up okay, so, there.

[ he's kind of holed up in the library and has been having a very serious internal battle about whether or not to brave the chaos outside. ]

[ Since arriving here, Ianto had spent hours in the library reading up, and then even longer walking the city in exploration. However... he had safe to say, grown bored. It wasn't like back home, with an unlimited amount of things to do in an hour. No, despite the initial shock of being here which had slowly lessened over the last month, and the newcomers and baking competitions... it was a big change.

It wasn't a complaint, by all accounts he wasn't even alive back home. But the confusion as to the hows and whys was still very much present.

The video is flickered on, Ianto is sitting at the table in the kitchen, mug in hand. ]

I like sweets as much as anyone else, but I highly doubt I was brought back for my mediocre-at-best baking skills. Anyone know what that was all about?

[ Ianto leans forward slightly to turn off the device, but as if an after thought - he adds:]

Also... If anyone in Heimdall would like coffee, I've put a pot on.

[Hello people of Asgard. When the bracelet's feed jumps to life it's because Castiel struck it on accident in the midst of somewhat ungraceful flailing; the bracelet skitters back a little on the table it's sitting on, screen locked in place and giving a great view of an elaborate setup, only it's on fire and sending up a good amount of slightly reddish smoke.

There's a voice off screen speaking a language few would understand--that of the angels, Enochian--and sounding extremely displeased. Castiel comes into frame a moment later, tossing a blanket of some sort on the fire and successfully stifling it, managing to look vaguely affronted despite a coughing fit from the smoke. He spots the screen of the bracelet moments later and immediately turns it off.]

[[ooc: Open to action/offlines from anyone in Heimdall! Feel free to walk right in; Castiel's door (and window) will be open considering he filled his room up with smoke. 8|]]

[ hey asgard. surfing the network? well whoop-de-doo have a post from one (1) dave strider. he's looking fairly normal today, body distanced a bit from the video. but that's for a reason. he's pretty much studied up on the currency of asgard, all for the purpose of this message. ]

Ok, so. Apparently people are going around getting jobs and whatnot and since hot tubs don't just fall out of the sky unless you win it cupcake-baking, I'm just gonna sit here and advertise to you my

commissions.

For those of you that are way too low on the low-down to know what these are, or you're head's still stuck in the 15th century, commissions are basically a case of 'you pay me' and 'I give you artwork'.

And I know what you're thinking; oh Dave how would you shit out masterpiece after masterpiece oh so eloquently in such a pre-modern phenomenon without a lunk of a computer???

[ chill as heck face. ]

Well baby, this is traditional. Ha.

[ he finishes, laying back a bit. ]

Aaaad, that's all.

All these prices are in copper runes and all of them are currently open. I'm in stealth mode right now, don't want too many people grabbing at my sweet deals and take my commissions under siege. So honestly, you're getting a really sweet deal. We can always figure out a cost if you're low on the dough, but don't try pulling anything, 'kay?

[ ooc: read up on the faq, h/e if this isn't allowed, notify me! he doesn't really expect anyone to "buy" anything. if at all, this is more of an advertisement of his rad skillz, yo. ]

[The bracelet turns on as Fi is bowing down to gently brush her fingers to her toes, stretching experimentally outside of the Heimdall house. She is still getting used to having a physical form, but she looks much stronger and at ease than she did with her arrival. In fact, she almost looks like she's enjoying herself. While she's doing that, she speaks.]

I would like to know where the nearest water source is.

[And then, with a quick press of her bracelet, the feed turns off.

But to those wandering by, they may catch her slowly beginning to dance experimentally, carefully attempting to stand on the tips of her toes without falling.

It's going to be a long and winding road.]

[The video feed cuts in, briefly revealing an exceptionally irate Szayel Aporro. He must have touched the gem enough to activate the video, because the view wobbles all over the place as he ripped the communicator from his wrist, throwing it against the wall (and it was probably fortunate he did not have his old powers, because that communicator would have shattered). The video spun around a moment before winking out, though the audio stayed on.]

--ridiculous! Why the hell would I need money in a place like this!

[There's the sound of him stomping around the room.]

The nerve...! They kidnap us, and now they force us to work!?

[And then a creek as he falls onto his bed. It's quiet for a long moment, before he mutters something unintelligible, and the communicator times out.]

Hello, hello, hello, people of Asgard!

[Why, there seems to be a very cheerful-looking face peering at your screens now. And this face just happens to have eyes that are clocks. As in actual clocks. Feel free to react accordingly.]

Just wanted to give a big welcome to all the new people, a pleasure to have you all! I hope to get to know you. My name is Cheriour, and I'm an angel of the Lord.

Now, some of you may be asking yourselves, "what exactly is an angel"? [He pauses briefly, puffing his chest out as if he's really proud that he can answer this obviously vital question.] Well, let me tell you! I come from a place which contains a world called Earth. We have a single God who created this world and all its inhabitants.

Yes, you heard that correctly. One god. Not multiple. This may be hard to believe for you, but trust me, me hearing about multiple gods in your worlds surprised me because it's rather frowned in our culture...anyways, enough about that! We angels serve God with all His duties, and we look over humanity and ensure that good people are rewarded and protected and understand the way of God.

[A pause.]

So! Um. That's it, I suppose. If you have anymore questions about angels in my world, don't hesitate to ask! I'll answer them as best as I can, okay?

[It takes Sheik only a few moments to figure out how the bracelet works, but some time longer to decide what to say.]

…It appears I have been captured and taken somewhere. The question is, by whom? A well-furnished prison cell is not exactly the Evil King’s modus operandi.

Our warden should know that I am just a simple subject of our great ruler Ganondorf. And surely, capturing me will cause him no loss of sleep. It would be beneficial for us both if you simply released me.

…Although, if you are an enemy of his, I would not mind.... ah… learning your name.

[Hey Asgard, have a familiar face filling up the screen -- or, well, half a face, since Link is a little too close. But aside from the eyes, he definitely looks like he could be the spitting image of a certain other green hatted kiddo you might already be familiar with as a resident of our good city. Isn't that peculiar?

Poor Link here hasn't a clue what he's doing, unfortunately. His expression is a mix of confusion and distress while he stares directly at the screen, finally coming into focus even as his hand waves over it, pressing things without any real purpose besides Let's See What Happens When I Do This. What's most alarming is that his face and clothes are caked with bits of blood, suggesting he's just come out of a rather brutal battle -- even if he's no longer actually hurt, and that's no less confusing than anything else that's happened since he woke up here. And the concept of Here is still pretty lost on him, caught up in his mess of worry about where Tetra's gone and what he should do now.

But aside from the occasional puzzled sound, Link doesn't say a word. In fact, the video is composed almost entirely of his staring at the screen, which is probably rather creepy. Someone clearly needs help using The Magic Screen here.

[ As the bracelet slips onto Zelda's wrist and the color returns to her eyes, the gem bumps against her skin and activates the voice function. ]

--but I looked all ... huh? [ The half spoken sentence dies on her lips as Zelda's conscious mind returns with her color. ] Where am I? This isn't the Heimdall house.

[ A voice speaks up near Zelda, but too far away for the words to be distinguishable. She falls silent for a minute as she listens to the guard's explanation of what befell her. ]

I lost myself? [ Her tone is clearly puzzled. ] But I don't remember anything like that. The last thing I remember was going out to look for my bracelet. [ Another pause. ] Then, I've been lost for almost two weeks?! [ Panic rises sharply in Zelda's voice. ] Oh, Link and Impa must be so worried. I'd better contact them. Thank you very much for your help, sir!

[ She turns on heel and hurries toward home, lifting the bracelet as she walks. It's then that she notices that it's already transmitting. ] Oh, it was on the whole time. [ She clears her throat. ]

Link! Impa! I'm here now!

[There is a flash of blue -- that's right, blue -- as the bracelet turns on. Fi is lying on her stomach, with her arms in front of her, bright blue orbs staring intently at the device as her fingers carefully pick at it. The young woman frowns slightly, her lips pursing together as her thin fingers try to pry the bracelet off.

It should also be noted that she is in the snow.

When the bracelet does not come off of its own accord, the woman chooses to refocus her attention on the hologram in front of her, speaking in a quiet monotone that, while being unremarkable, manages to sound almost musical at the same time.]

It appears that I have been designated a corporeal form for this universe. I am not sure why, or where, or how they managed to conjure such a thing to hold me, but I am going to find out. There is a 0% probability of failure.

[And that is said in something of a tone, with the slightest tilt of anger at the back of her throat -- before Fi pushes herself up onto her thin arms, to try and kneel on her knees.

Or tries.

She only falls onto her stomach again with a soft 'oomph'.]

... ... my communicator has informed me that the hero known as Link is present within the city.

I require his assistance.
