I have never encountered a varied set of emotions. Specifically, sadness and grief. Despite this, I know there is a way to remedy them. I have seen it. I have thousands of instances of it recorded within my memory from observation and experience. They do not last forever. They are not permanent.

But I do not know how to remove them.

Is it a physical process? An emotional transformation?

I need to know in order to maximize my own efficiency within this city and work on returning to my own universe to fulfill my purpose.

Goddess. Zelda.

Link is no longer here.

He has either returned home or has been dispatched elsewhere, but he is no longer here. He does not register on the contact list and I have not found him in my search of the house and city.

What would you like me to do in his absence?

I don't think there's a way you can get rid of that quickly.

I guess it kinda depends on what you're sad about.

[A concerned tilt of the head.]

Did something happen?

I think so...

[He doesn't seem to mind her replying only in text. But Sora keeps his feed on video. Sometimes when he's sad, it helps to hear somebody's voice.]

Sometimes, when I'm sad about little things, my friends'll do things to cheer me up. Most of the time they're really good at making me laugh.

But I know in the past, when me and my friends ended up fighting for real, when somebody got really hurt, or when one of them went missing? Not even ice cream and funny movies can fix that.

You're kidding, right?!

[Has she really never laughed before? Looks like Sora's got a lot of explaining to do... once he gets over the shock.]

[BECAUSE TYPING SUCKS FOR HER OKAY So something has happened, that much was clear from a message like that.]

What? Your first time felling sad? They grow up so fast.

There is that whole "time heals all wounds" sayin'. It basically just means that eventually new experiences will dull the old stuff.

I don't think there's a set time. Everyone is different.

Well... the only real way to get rid of those feelings is time. So it's an emotional kinda thing that might take a little while.

I don't think you can ever really remove sadness or grief. [Fiddling with his bracelet as he talks. He doesn't like these sorts of topics much] You have to take time to accept them, and heal.

Having friends around helps though. Distracting yourself from it does too, I find. But it's really a time thing, I think.

I do things I enjoy, like talking with my friends, or training. [More like watching his other train, but it counts, kinda] Things that make me need to concentrate on what's going on, so I don't have time to brood over it.

It doesn't eradicate it, exactly. But it does make it lessen, and eventually you don't remember it unless something reminds you, and even then it's not as bad.

So what happened?

[Ghirahim has been a bit absent from stalking people lately, but he's back and he sure as hell is not using the text feature to soak in the sorrow of another.]

How absolutely tragic. What is it that has you feeling so down, Fi? Though I suppose it wouldn't take much to encourage such emotions from you, seeing that the entire concept is still new. Perhaps you stubbed your toe in a futile attempt at walking?
weaponwithoutmercy: (To the glitter store)

[He brings a finger to his lips, as if he is contemplating the idea for a moment. It doesn't last long as his grin grows even bigger on his face and he lets out a slight chuckle.]

Is it so terrible of me to look out for a fellow spirit? You are far too harsh on me for simply being concerned.

We haven't spoken for some time and I thought now would be an excellent time to catch up. Perhaps you'd like to express why you are feeling so sad, perhaps it would make you feel better.

[Because he is curious as to what could have triggered such emotions and he's sure that whatever the reason is something he wants to know.]

It's a really hard thing to get through. [And she has a stock-load of it to try and suppress lately.]

What happened, Fi-san?

... But if it hurts, it helps to at least let someone know what's causing this sadness.
