[The feed clicks on to a view of Roxas kneeling on the ground with a jar of runic paint on one side of him and a small glowing cube. He's drawing an array circle on the ground with one already completed that's already lit up. It doesn't seem to be working though since its lights are flashing, but Roxas looks pretty confident in his work. Once he's done completing the other, he collects his stuff and steps back towards the feed.]
We might want to give it some distance.
[And to his side? Another Roxas who looks less confident and more excited; anticipatory. There's a grin on his face as he holds up his hands.]
What, you didn't put that much of a punch into it did you? It's just supposed to be some-- [The first Roxas promptly cuts the other off by tugging him back with his jacket to clear some space for the arrays.]
Fireworks are supposed to be big, right? It'll be fine. [The glowing cube in his hand begins to fade--] 30 seconds starting now.
[Taking a few more steps back, they turn to look at each other, and the first Roxas begins to grin back excitedly as well. A little time passes in silence with the arrays starting to glow more brightly by the second, then:]
5...4...3...2!...1! Ze--!
[The sound of something distinctly NOT fireworks drowns them out as the part of feed showing the arrays erupts into a bright light, then giant flames licking the sky with smoke billowing out from it, which quickly obscures the feed in a few seconds. There's only static for a moment until the smoke clears. At least it wasn't too big of an explosion, and both Roxas' seem to be unharmed while they cough and wave at the air....besides the smoke and soot all over their faces and the way their hair manages to be even more messy than usual.]
...I think you overdid it a little. [Yet the first Roxas seems to be appraising his work once he sets the glass jar and cube down.]
Nah, overdoing it would've been adding another array to it because then it would've double the size of that explosion. It technically did what I designed it to do...Technically. [Because a bomb is not that different from fireworks, is it?]
Technically?? We almost blew up! There wasn't even any color, just fire!
Well, yeah, but there was light and we didn't blow up. You're not even hurt! [He moves closer, ruffling the other's hair to get out the soot. Whiiiich said other inhales slightly, coughing again and waving at the air.
This was totally an ace idea. ]
