[There have been posters put up all over Asgard -- inside Welcome Halls, in the streets, in popular restuarants and traveller-run cafes, even places like the Hospital, Bank and Library. Advertising Traveller Fest the posters are bright and colourful, painstakingly designed by Hanako. There's fliers to match -- perhaps you've passed a volunteer on the streets handing them out? Either way, you should have no problems recognising the poster that Conan is attempting to hold up before the bracelet (it is bigger than he is -- someone get the kid a stool).]

Ta-dah! What do you think, Asgard -- the posters look great, don't they? Thank you to all the volunteers who helped by putting them up or handing out fliers! We've still got a way to go though -- if you want to help out by making banners or decorations for the stalls, talk to Nakama-neechan -- oops! I mean, Mako Nakarai -- that's how you'll find her on the bracelet.

We're still looking for volunteers for the day too! If you can cook and want to try running a cake stall, or if you have a restaurant or cafe in Asgard, and you want to create a stall to sell some of your wares and show people what you do, then you need to talk to Hanako Izekawa! She's in charge of that! Ah -- if you own a business and have supplies you want to donate to this event, we'd be very grateful too!

Finally, if you want to perform at our event, you should let me know! We're building a really big stage, so this is a great chance for any musicians, actors, performers to really show Asgard what you're capable of! We've already got magic tricks, acrobatics, music and a sword fight, but we can do better! Please let me know if you want to get involved. We can help out with props!

Speaking of, I need a volunteer from Odin with advanced fire magic, please! Also, if you're free Machiavelli-san, I have a task for you too!

Ah ... and finally, I have a reminder of why we're doing this. Pulling us from our own worlds, playing games with us and then sending friends away when they're done with them ... the way the gods treat us, it's not right. John-san was here from the start. He helped a lot of people through the hospital and took care of me when I was stabbed. He was my friend and now he's gone, with no chance to say goodbye. [Conan pauses. He's taken some time to cope with John's leaving and time has passed enough that he can speak without worrying about his voice going, but it still hurts. He'd thought --

But what did that count for when god's decided everything on a whim?]

So -- I think we should try our hardest to show the gods we're worth being treated better and that we're worth being listened to. Thank you for listening, Asgard.

[The feed turns on to show the view from a first floor window in Hel's welcome house before it's quickly adjusted to Cassandra's face as the focus. Her expression is a mix of curiosity and slight concern as she addresses the network.]

This isn't... permanent, right? Or harmful? It seems like another weird prank. No point to it.

[There's a pause where furrows her brow a little before posing another question.]

How many aren't affected?

[And now she'll end the feed, leaning over to a coffee table to take a drink from her mug of tea. Maybe she'll come across a housemate or something, who knows.]

[and here shows up nier's face.

surprise, it's still nier.]

Am I the only that's still myself?

[seriously this is the weirdest prank yet. the fact that he was spared is a small point in the gods' favor.]

[The time-stamp on the video feed reads 6:32 am. Conan's wearing his practice clothes, a backpack over his shoulder. He was en-route to the Citadel, but there was a change of plans.]

Ah -- anyone awake right now, if I could ask a favour? Me and Seth-niichan, we've been putting together emergency kits for everyone's use here! One of the things we stock them with is candles -- and as you can see, there's a lot of candles in Asgard right now!

[Conan tilts the screen so that the viewers get a view of the main road in Hel, looking ... far more cheerful than the main road of Hel has ever looked before. Those sure are some bright candles.]

If you don't mind helping us out, please put them out and store them somewhere dry! You can put them with the emergency kit already in your Welcome Hall, or let me or Seth-niichan know to come and collect them to put in the new kits when we make them! You'd be helping us out a lot! Thank you!

Volunteers to look into this? If Beckett needs you, she gets priority.

[IC Edit: Video.] (after this thread and this good advice!)

Ah -- So, I didn't realise this was art! Sorry! If you do want to take candles, take them from different places so that people waking up later can see them, and don't take any from Odin district! Thank you!

[Currently exploring the land of Asgard, one young woman has found herself in the Arena in the Thor district. A bit of careless wandering has landed her sort of lost within the training rooms, though she doesn't seem to mind for the moment. In fact, she appears rather curious, examining different rooms from a safe distance and keeping more of her focus on their occupants rather than the equipment. Something can be said for the way she watches them move, but her expression doesn't give much.

This lasts for a bit, and she eventually goes to the network, curiosity winning out.]

The training areas... are they free to use, or do they cost something? I'm brand new. But I don't want to get rusty. Maybe someone can help me?

[Not that she would, but for now, she can't let people see what she's capable of.]

[For anyone who's been paying attention, it's been a long time since Dean was last seen addressing the network. But he'd actually got something to say, which makes it easier for him to overcome years of training to be as inconspicuous as possible and post something of interest and importance.

That doesn't mean he's not going to be as brief as possible.]

I've started offering my services over at Citadel if anyone's interested in learning some self defense. I'm specializing in hand-to-hand, weaponless combat, but if you've got something different in mind, I'm flexible.

If you can't pay cash, that's fine, but I've got rent to worry about so maybe we can come to a different agreement. I'd feel better knowing everyone can handle themselves in case of emergency, though, so if you can't afford it, we'll work something out.

Seems this place has a bit of an issue with a water leak at the moment --

[ No shit, sherlock. Though it's not so much of a water leak, than it is a possible apocalyptic flooding of the entire city. The sound of sloshing water can be heard over the audio as the video feed turns on. Ohh ~ a tall, handsome and rather buff stranger is standing in the entrance hall of Heimdall House. And he looks just a little bit confused and troubled -- oh and just a little wet. Maybe someone can lend him a hand? ]

Huh ... ?

Oh, um, Hi. Steve Rogers, here -- [ He salutes and stands at attention, perhaps a bit too formal of a gesture, but as confused as he is, he's gonna handle this the good ol' Captain America way! ]

I'm afraid that I'm going to need a bit more information than that nurse told me, so if someone could point me in the direction of the God named Thor? It's a long story, but if this is the city of Asgard he spoke about, then I'm going to need to speak to him. And in that regard, if anyone from my ... um ... world so-to-speak, is here, I'm going to need to speak with them as well.

I just need to know how I got here and why I'm here, so if anyone can lend me a hand, that'd be swell.

[ 'Cause frankly speaking, he's not happy about the prospect of having to adjust to a new world when he's only just barely started to get used to the other one.

He looks down briefly after a moment. ]

Oh and uh ... maybe a towel wouldn't be so bad, either?

[Cassandra had arrived and gone through the motions of all the travelers before her. Bracelet, letter, brief explanation. She hadn't attempted to stay and ask more questions, though, so outside she went, feeling slight relief at seeing a dark, cloudy sky. The water was all but ignored.

Still in her Black Bat garb, her first action is to attempt to gain a vantage point. Quickly enough, she's on a window sill on the top floor of a building, looking around. She spotted a vague change of hues to the west, indicating a different sector of the city, and Cass stays here for a while, simply watching and observing.

However, about an hour later, she decides it's time to try out the bracelet the woman had shown her. After having browsed the network a bit, text, she decides, is the best method for now. Anonymous at that, since she only has a vague idea of who might be around.]

arrivals all come the same way. even longtime travelers were new once. how did you take it, what did you do when you arrived? where did you go?
