I've been here almost six months now, with nothing except a bit of a lost bracelet situation to call a holiday, and anyone would think I'd be exhausted. I am, a little, but mostly I'm worried. I do want us all to come out of this alive, even if it takes a lot of hard work and a lot of effort.

[ Because, really, optimism is all she has left. After everything that's happened and with everyone that's come and gone. ]

Would anyone like to spend some time somewhere quiet, maybe? Things have been so strange around here lately that I've barely had time to go and read, or make any new friends. It's better late than never, though, I think.

And, um. Has anyone seen Spike? I think he might have... Let me know.

So these digs are pretty sweet.

( At first the video comes in a little too close, and then shaky as Faith moves the bracelet to make it look better. She's new and working on it, they certainly didn't have anything like this where she came from. Where's a good old fashioned beeper?

She's lounging on her bed, tank top and leather pants with her hair down. Hey pretty faces )

Nicer than anything I've ever lived in before. Gonna have to thank the boss, if I ever actually get to see him. Or if he's listening now I'm pretty grateful.

( People are listening, right? She's been told how to use the bracelet - rather than just pressing the buttons like she did before - but she's not Willow. No whizzing here )

This all seems like a pretty selective club, too. Glad I got an invite, you picked the right girl. ( And juicing her more with regeneration was a smart move. Helps keep a Slayer alive ) But I got one question. Not a complaint just, you know, curiosity. Where's the fun around here? I mean even Sunnydale had the Bronze, and that didn't always bomb. I get that there's a war going on, when isn't there, but all work and no play makes it pretty dull, or us lousy. So who's up for something? Show a girl the sights.

( With that smile? How could you ever refuse? )

And a weapon. I'm good with my fists but something that'll help I'd never say no to. I didn't exactly get chance to pack first. Just let me know what you've got. I'm sure we can work something out.

Uh, hey there. Name's Lee. I'd appreciate some help - or advice.

I've been without my left arm for a few months now - I lost it back home just before I got here. [A pause. Admittedly it wasn't so much losing it, as telling his friend to saw it off. It had seemed a good idea at the time... but anyway.] And, uh, Joel offered this -

[He holds up the robotic arm strapped at his left elbow.]

But I don't have any shadow control to move it by myself. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas how to work something out some other way? Operation might be a bit complex, but... well, with the amount of, uh "magic" and shit around here, I thought there might be something someone could do...

So... yeah. If there's anyone here with any knowledge of this kinda thing who might wanna help, I'd really owe you one.

Hey. [Lee gives a kind of awkward wave at the camera. He's not good at this sort of thing, not fond of talking to so many at once. But he has something to say that he feels is important.]

The little girl that lived in Thor District with me and - [Who else lives there? He can't remember their names anymore.] Uh, with others. She's gone - disappeared. 'Pretty sure her name's Clementine. I don't know if it's for good or not; some people have come back, haven't they? But, uh. I know she has friends, so I thought you guys'd like to know.

[He pauses here. He knows she should mean more than just a girl he shared a house with. There's a lingering bit of... something in his gut telling him she's important. But hell if he knows why.]

...Uh. I know I'm not the only one losing memories. I don't if there's much we can do about it, but look, maybe any kind of constant reminders from others might help. So. If anyone here knows who the hell Clementine was supposed to be to me? I'd appreciate the hint.

[A bit of an odd request, perhaps. But he's growing frustrated. She could be his damn daughter for all he can remember.]

And if you see her around, if she comes back - could you ask her to get in touch with me? Uh, Lee, that is. [In case she's forgotten him as well.] ...Thanks.

[Hey, Asgard. Have you ever had to hear a terrified feral six-year-old throwing a tantrum?

Unfortunately, you're about to.

For Lilly, forgetting Asgard memories had been disquieting-- it felt funny, and it was always confusing when they suddenly came rocketing back to her. But now she's periodically forgetting Mama and her sister, and that? Is just not acceptable.]

Mama! No! Victoria! Mama, Mama, Mama, Victoria, Mama!

MAMA!

[There's the sound of small palms slapping the ground in frustration.]

Stop now! Help! Come-- come back!

[She smacks at her bracelet display, and the feed ends there.]

[The past few days have been exceptionally strange, even by Jamie's standards. Not particularly good ones, either, with people he knows disappearing all over the place and that funny sort of foggy thing that's been happening with some of his memories. However, when the ghosts start turning up in the city, he decides enough is enough and flips on the bracelet to see if he can get more information.]

Now, listen, I know there's been some odd things happening the past few days, with people coming and going like they are. But has anyone else noticed that people've been coming back differently? Sort of transparent-like, almost, like they're not really there at all. Ye can't understand what they're saying, or get them to understand what you're saying, or do much with them at all.

Don't know about the rest of ye, but I'd almost say they were some sort of g--

[And it's right in the middle of that word that he vanishes, leaving behind only the sight of a stall at the stables he normally works at. A split-second later that's gone as well, as his bracelet goes dead and he vanishes from the lists, like anyone else who's disappeared recently.

It's not until the sun's nearly set later that day that he reappears in the same spot, although the feed doesn't automatically kick back on along with him. Seeing the way that the light's shifted, though, he knows he's been gone for at least some time - and there's likely a few people that are going to be worried. His first instinct is to go to them rather than try and use the bracelet, and he immediately takes off from the stables, heading back towards the house in Thor. There's still questions to be answered, but sometimes it's hard for him to avoid giving into his impulses first.]

(ooc: any messages left will be replied to, just with a small delay due to his temporary disappearance.)

Um. I've been thinking about this for a while and....I'd like to get better at fighting. I know I have my pistol, but that isn't always going to be enough. I want to be able to help. Especially if the giants or something manage to get into the clinic where I'd usually be when things get crazy. But with Lee here and his arm.....I want to make sure I have options. That I can defend him and myself if necessary.

To that end, I know of the Citadel. And Ellie? I know you have some skills. If you're up for teaching me, I mean. I wouldn't mind learning to use a knife and a bow and arrow. I'm pretty good with improvising with things, but I'd like to get a bit better if I can. Healing is great, but I can't do shit against the giants with it to hurt them like some of the other powers.

[Yes, that was a swear. In public. From the girl who used to keep a swear jar she constantly had Ellie put coins into. Evidently, she no longer has such a big issue over such language.]

I can't let Lee get hurt. He obviously won't be able to fight the same as he did back home, even if he does have fire powers from Odin. Because that will totally be effective against the Fire Giants.....

Anyway. Yeah. Weapons, training. Even just general self defense would be great. Just more to help me against the Giants.

[To help her protect Lee and keep him alive here in Asgard. She can't lose him again. And no, she isn't bothering to filter this from Eight or Lee.]

A lot of people ask about the gods when they get here and they keep talking about them after, too. It made me think. We don't have any gods where I'm from, but we have a government.

Mr. Odin is the one who keeps things running here, so he's kind of like the President Snow of Asgard. [Rue frowns.] Except...nicer. Some people in Panem like the government, some people don't. Some people here like the gods, and some people don't. [It's a match! Kind of.] I kind of realized I don't really know a lot about the governments in everybody else's world, and now I'm really, really curious. So, now I'm asking!

What are the governments in your worlds like?

Oh, and one more thing! [She holds up a few glass decorations.] I'm experimenting with colors and shapes right now, so I have some extras I can give away. If nobody wants them, I'm gonna use them to decorate our cafe.

[Actually, that isn't a bad idea, now that she's said it.] Ummm never mind, I'm gonna to put some up anyway. But you can still come and get one! I'll be at the Safehouse in Freya district!

[For once, especially more recently, Clementine actually seems. Happy. There's a smile at her lips as she turns the bracelet on, giving a small wave to her audience. There's a pause and soft giggle as Midnight (her cat) comes to join them, seating herself on Clementine's lap.]

Hey Asgard. I just figured while I'm teaching Lee how to use these, I'd introduce him. He's...a friend that helped me a lot back home. I'm pretty sure I've mentioned him to at least most of you by now.

[Which is an understatement, she's talked a lot about him, especially when she was younger, prior to returning to Asgard a couple of years older. And she knows it. It's almost teasing, looking over to Lee and shifting her bracelet to show him so he can say hi.]

Come on, say hi, Lee! It's like a phone but with video. So they can see you and hear you!

Technology working again. 'Didn't think I'd be seeing that for a while. [Even if it is technology he's never seen before.

Lee is smiling, too - he's lost his left arm, which is still taking some getting used to, but he's with Clementine, and he's alive, there are no dead people trying to eat them... So, he's okay; he's good. His remaining hand rests on Clementine's shoulder as he addresses the video.]

Oh, uh. Yeah, hey; I'm Lee. Me and Clem - we looked out for each other, back home. 'Kept each other safe from the walkers - though Clem's probably told a lot of you about those things. It seems safer here than it was there, at least.

Yeah. The bracelets are pretty amazing. Just one more reason why you shouldn't take it off. Or you'll be like them. Those....grey people.

[But gosh she is just. So happy in spite of her confliction and guilt over Lee showing up. She can't help but smile back to him when she feels his hand at her shoulder. The expression might falter for a second, at the reminder of his lost arm again, but it's controlled, quickly locked down.]

Right. It is a lot safer here. Even in the war, I guess. Walkers haven't been an issue at all, even if Hel can bring people back if they die. It's...complicated. But Lee helped me a lot. So I wanted to teach him to use the bracelets and say hi to everyone, so he can meet my friends.

Grey people? [He gives Clementine a curious glance, still smiling. He'll have to ask about that properly later. As well as a shit ton of other things, honestly.]

Right, of course. Any friend of Clem here is a friend of mine. And it looks like I'll be here for the long run too now, so, uh.

[He's not quite as good at this as Clementine seems to be, so other than that, he only waves at the screen kind of awkwardly.]

Yeah, there's still some of all this I need to explain to him. But I just wanted to introduce him to everyone. So! Ellie, Doctor, Alice....everyone! Come say hi and meet him.

[ooc: Red is Lee, black is Clem.]
