[ Okay. Time for me to face facts. This isn't a dream. Well, it might be some sort of magic shared coma dream--maybe Rena finally clonked me too hard; it'd explain Satoshi running around.

... ... ...No, that is pretty stupid.

Well. Time to make a first impression.
]

PEOPLE OF ASGARD, LISTEN! FELLOW MEMBERS OF HEIMDALL, LEND ME YOUR EARS!

I am here to introduce myself! It's only customary for us all stuck together in this place to come to know one another, so I will with this hand take center stage for the time I am entitled to!

[ At this point he stands atop his bed, stands straight, and POINTS with fervor at nothing. ]

This figure before you--this man standing before you!--is none other than--

[ He LEAPS from the bed and lands on the ground, spins, and POINTS with even more fervor at an equal amount of nothing. ]

--the one-and-only Keiichi!

[ Pause.

Then he laughs, falling back onto the bed.

Haha, that'd be pretty cool! But an over-the-top introduction like that isn't my style, so I'll go with something normal, even if it was fun to play out. Good thing I don't have a roommate! Now, I'll just get this thing working and give a toned down--

Wait. Is...This doesn't mean--

He leans in very, very, very closely to the translucent screen.

[Between Mary being very, very missing and everything he knows she's keeping from him, John's stressed as hell. And when John gets stressed, he likes to drink to cope.

And when John drinks, he stops being the nice, helpful guy he usually is.]

We don't have to fight their damn war, you know.

[Yeah, kinda like that.]

These goddamn gods yanked us here and they expect us to fight and die in some war we've got no stake in? Oh, where have I heard that before?

[There's another pause as he takes another drink of...whatever this stuff is. It's good. It's strong.]

This isn't our fight. Fuck them.

[Castiel is feeling much better and is essentially back to normal, so he's returned to video posts to ramble on at the populace about nerd issues.]

I have finished a compilation of the powers and what they are capable of at different levels of strength. Many of the powers there is little information available for, so if any of those who possess any lacking in details in this guide are willing to share what they know, it would be appreciated.

[And there is a file attachment of powers.txt available for download. After doing that, he glances at the screen and looks like he's cutting the feed, but he's actually setting a filter.]

[Filtered AWAY from TFW house/the SPN cast]

I meant to ask this some time ago, but there have been several distractions since then. However, I need to learn to fight more competently without a weapon. I am used to using my sword, or a gun, but there are times when neither is appropriate or available.

I can provide compensation if necessary for anyone willing to teach me.

[And now he ends the feed for real.]

[ hello, asgard. have one ever-sour werewolf. it looks like someone has been training if the completely ruined punching bag scattered in various pieces on the floor is anything to go by.

derek isn't big on socializing which is probably clear by now, but there's nothing quite like fighting someone alive, which is why he's here today with a request much to his dislike. ]

I think it's time to test out with gift the gods gave me. [ a beat…and he tries for non-threatening with the next part, but most likely fails anyway; ] Anyone feeling up to the challenge?

[ come on, someone take the punching bag's place, please.

with that the feed is turned to private for two entirely different matters. ]

[ One day you will see this face on the network and it will not have a question attached. One day. In maybe a few years. It's Paige, there's questions

And this one's related to everything ]

Okay, so some people have said about getting things back from home. I'm hearing that. [ And seeing. Someone may have gotten a certain book back today, one that is currently sat on her bed. Which is bad. It's left the manor, which it shouldn't, unless someone (not her, this time) threw it out of a window again ] But has anything ever come here before? I mean, everything I'm hearing says the gods are jerks that don't exactly do nice things. This... is kind of nice? [ Except, of course, she's skeptical. Everyone else seems happy, so she's just dotting all the i's and crossing her t's? ]

And how much has come? I know there's been those otter things. [ It's a Samurott, Paige ] And other... stuff. Is anyone else concerned? [ Maybe? She's hoping a little that it's not just her and she's not all paranoid? ]

So, hopefully everyone's okay again after all of... that. It got a bit tough for a while. [ Understatement, but she rolls with it. And quickly moves on. The sentiment was definitely real but just a bit of a preface for what she really wants ]

And I'm hoping that people are okay enough to answer a few questions? You know, being the new girl and all there's just one or two. [ Or one leading to two leading to twenty... hundred ]

So. Things have been said which are kind of making me think that this has happened before. Maybe not this this but something bad. That and the war, and war's bad enough, well... we're kind of really underprepared. [ She doesn't even know what to do herself - or if she can do anything ]

But. Second point. They say our powers are gone, but what about something more... innate? [ Like her natural magic. She can't orb but she hasn't exactly tried a spell yet. Or scrying. She'd love to do that, scry for a god, or someone ] Something that's kind of natural to you. Has anyone had anything like that and kept it? I know people have talked to the gods about powers and they've kind of shown us what'd happen if we had them [ She's so glad she missed that - for them ] but what if it's not entirely like a power? [ And that's about all she can say without being vague. Oh boy ]

So. Thanks. And feel better.

[ Filter: Sam Winchester ]
Hi, I'm Paige. [ In case you forgot from her last post ] So, Conan might have mentioned one or two things about where you're from and I was kind of curious? [ Okay. He said possession and demons may have come up. Or she might have just assumed since possessor demons etc etc. She just wants to chat ]

Uh, hi. [ Yes, it's her again, and she's still not any better at using this thing (or rather talking about it) ]

I know that this is probably way over talked about or something, but humour a girl. [ She's new, and is asking nicely? There was a please in her tone ]

So there are seven [ It's a guess, which the number sounds like ] houses? And apparently there are more powers here than I thought. [ Whudda thunk it? ] So if you could just give me a shout with your house and power, I'd really appreciate it. [ Really really

And just when it sounds like she's going to leave it there, she quickly tacks on: ]
I'm Paige, by the way. Sigyn house and healing. [ Just to set an example ]

I guess we're just supposed to forget about the duties we have back home? But if the Gods and Goddesses really are our patriarchs and matriarchs, I suppose their duties are that much more important.

[ Chris snorted. The video feed kicked on to show a man in his early 40’s, background to a room in the Heimdall residence. It felt a little ridiculous, treating this bracelet like a cell but it was at least simple enough to use, and he knew how it worked after Scott showed him. He was quiet after, staring thoughtfully with a tight frown – trying to choose the rest of his questions and words. If anything, with a broadcast he had a chance to find out who else from Beacon Hills was there, since neither Allison nor Scott divulged a full list of names to him. To protect a few of their friends, maybe. ]

This network is supposed to be used for information, right? My daughter suggested I look around here to get information for any questions she might not have had the answers to.

[ It was a good enough reason as any to follow it - keeping track of it just to be social didn't sound appealing. ]

So, tell me something.

Is it normal for supernatural creatures to become human in this place?

10 September 2012 @ 09:28 pm
[ It's getting late into the evening when Paige posts. Two things can be known just by looking at the video: 1) Paige is very wet, due to the rain and having been in it since she's arrived, 2) she's confused. She hasn't gotten any answers - other than the ones from the 'welcome lady' and she hasn't seen who she's been looking for. Mainly the Gods, or a God. So, whilst she's broadcasting (which may look accidental, but in fact it's very deliberately done) Paige is looking up at the sky, calling: ]

I can stand and do this all day you know.

[ The reason she's looking up at the sky? That's what she usually does, sky or ceiling, or just in the general direction of 'up there' for yelling at the Elders. Or Leo, though that's mostly Piper ]

You think this is the worst? Well you're wrong.

[ Or maybe she's underplaying it a little. Paige found out very quickly after arriving here that she didn't have her powers, any of them. She's tried orbing - or orbing something - several times throughout the day to no avail, and that's only the tip of why she's very not happy (actually it's the biggest part of it). And as worrying as not having her powers is? She's not going to say anything about it on the video, or in earshot of anyone but these 'gods' ]

I've faced... things worse than this. [ Yeah, it's hard to be vague, and harder to cut yourself off when you're yelling at the sky and your words can just flow. But she's doing it ] So you can just- No. You're going to come down here or... something will happen. [ She hasn't tried casting any spells yet, and since that part of her magic can't be taken like her powers (she thinks) she's going to be quickly coming up with something. Something better than her bad threats

And finally, with a sigh and frustrated noise, Paige tilts her head back down, finally looking at and addressing the broadcast: ]

Has anyone had any luck with them? Or are they just like- [ the Elders, she was going to say ] -like some... rude people?
