[Tris sounds tense. She had so many questions in mind when she first arrived that she never got around to taking to the network. Now's not the time for any of them, except this one.]

So destruction and fighting and everything aside. Does anyone know... how long someone can stay uhm. Passed out in a coma? I know some people dream of what's happening at home like that but how long does it normally last?

[ The video comes on and Hermione settles a few pieces of notepaper before she speak. ]

Hello, everyone. I know it's been a long time but I've finally finished writing up all my notes about Asgard and everyone's worlds. I know it doesn't quite cover all the worlds that have been introduced here but it's a start! If you'd like to add anything then, please, let me know as soon as you're able.

[ She smiles, softly, expression bright. She's very proud of herself, really, and more than glad that she's finally able to contribute something solid and real to Asgard. She's finally able to put all her research together and actually show it to her friends and acquaintances and, maybe, actually help them in the long run. ]

It's a digital file, so I think you should all be able to access it using your bracelets. If you have any problems then, please, let me know and I'll do whatever I can to help.

[ LINKED: Hermione's guide and notes on the City of Asgard. ]

Otherwise, how is everyone? Things have been quieter than usual, which I think is a good thing, so I hope that means well for you all.

[ She pauses, pursing her lips, before she shakes her head and sighs just before the feed turns off. ]

[ Would you look at that Asgard, it's a little Lady. Yes, capital L and everyone who sees her probably subconsciously makes it so in their heads as well because her amber-colored hair is falling in shining waves down her shoulders, there is not a wrinkle in sight on her dress and the look on her face can only be described as aristocratically displeased. When she opens her mouth, her accent also makes it clear that what we have here is an English Lady. ]

Why is it that nobody ever asks you if you want to turn your whole life upside down to save the world? And on a similar note, does anyone offer any form of instruction or training when it comes to the use of these powers that have just been thrust upon us?

[ At least the Moon Princess magic came with some sort instinctive know-how. Wasn't much, but it was something.

Oh but wait, she missed a sort of important step here, didn't she?
]

With that said, I believe introductions are in order. My name is Maria Merryweather. Pleased to make your acquaintance.

[ Well, not really since she isn't too pleased to be here, but it's the polite thing to say. ]

[Kim's standing outside of the Odin house, trying to appear more calm than she's really feeling at the moment. Panicking won't do her any good, she's well aware of this, but it's hard fighting against it.]

[She also thinks this would be a lot easier if there was some sort of directory.]

I need some help from anyone in Odin house.

My friend Billy's gone grey and unconscious, but I can't keep checking up on him all the time. For some reason being in his house longer than an hour makes me feel unease [Not exactly, but that's the closest way she can describe it] but I don't want him to wake up and need help when I can't be there. He doesn't have his bracelet with him, so I'm trying to look for it, but it means he can't contact anyone when he does wake up.

So if anyone from Odin could check up on him, that would be awesome and I'll try to think of a way to pay you back.

Also...do I need to get him hooked onto an IV or anything? He's been out for several days.

[ Contary to popular belief, not all of her reminders are sudsy faux pas at raising morale by glossing over the near-imminent end of days with errant chore routines and rehearsed domesticity for the sake of her team, but swapping one apocalypse for another version of the Armageddeon was enough to induce internal hemorrhaging on both accounts (granted, if a certain Assassin hadn't already beat them to the punch). Ascended Fridge Horror was an eternal trope in her line of business.

But Stillman remains composed in her attempt to infuse some vestige of credibility into her message. Professionalism didn't cut slack for even post-mortem workaholics. ]

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Lucy. I'm a ... researcher. In light of everything that's occurred recently, I believe it's high time that I become acquainted with you all, if only to extend my support in our shared endeavors. I'll do what I can to help.

That being said: would anyone like self-defense lessons? I realize it's not that much to offer, but if anyone needs a sparring partner, I'm capable of handling firearms, blades, blunt weapons, and hand-to-hand combat. I wouldn't be against polishing my technique with your assistance, either. Payment isn't necessary, but I do have a preference for fixed appointments. Let me know if you're interested and we'll hammer out the rest of the details together. [ There's a nearly pedestrian, lilting pause as she invokes the real intent behind using the network system to contact the general public in the first place. ]

I understand that, for better or worse, we were chosen and forcibly brought to Asgard. But the extenuating reasons behind that decision — whether it's by chance or through ulterior motives — are completely beyond me. I take it some people have had quite a long stay here, and others, like myself, have only recently arrived, but it seems we all share an equal opportunity to leave. The thing is? It isn't on our terms. Only random selection at any given time of day.

I'm open to all possible theories you might have concerning any Traveler's sudden departure, however.

And while I'm at it, is there anyone out there who's returned to Asgard from their original world on more than one occassion? If so, I'd like to ask a few general questions about the experiences in each iteration. Nothing major. [ A beat. ]

Thank you for your time. I genuinely appreciate it.

[It’s his first time on the network, and Tom looks more than a little nervous about it. Is it like being on the telly? He feels like he’s on the telly.

Nervousness aside, the biggest problem with it being video instead of text is the lack of subtitles.
]

Never had no trouble with frogs before. Quite liked ‘em when I was little. But now they’re being all rude, and something must’ve got ‘em riled. But it ain't right, using that language where a lady might hear them.

[But there's something else troubling him.]

So, I was wondering if anyone knew what made them scratches on some of the doors around here. They showed up a couple of nights after the full moon and-

[He shouldn’t say it. Tom’s used to the existence of certain kinds of monsters humans being kept secret at all costs. But he’s heard that things are different here. He finishes with the perfect puppy dog expression, even though he’s less puppy now than before.]

And it weren’t me what did it.

[Severus is still trying to figure out the bracelet on his wrist. An orange apple in one hand while he studies the bracelet - he'd come across the tree of bizarre orange apples just outside his bedroom window; he'd been most dubious about the phrase Fruit Of Chance inscribed in the tree's trunk but hunger had driven him to pluck an apple from the tree - he takes a crunchy bite and idly pokes the bracelet with his pinkie as he starts to chew.

And suddenly, he spits the bite of apple out of his mouth. He does so with a sound of repulsion, followed by a hitched gag. It tastes like rotten fish! Never in his life has he ever tasted something so disgusting. Not even that rotten egg flavoured Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Bean he ate in Sixth Year tasted as bad as this does.]

Blasted--!

[What he doesn't realise is that when he poked his bracelet, he accidentally switched the audio on. So, everyone who happens to be tuning in right now will hear Severus coughing and grunting in disgust.]

Do people who are dead in their world ever come here? I don't mean as ghosts. I mean do they come here and are no longer dead? Are people again? Or maybe they come here before they die?

[The feed comes on accidentally, one of the last 'hiccups' in the network before Loki is back to full health. Equius is staring to the side in what looks like a gas station, a rumbling growl coming out of his throat. He seems to be trying to make sounds over and over again.]

Le... le... le...

Language of love indeed. It sounds like idiotic cluck-beast babble.

[He growled, shaking his head and looked up at the door, scratching at the door when it opened. There was a dingling sound from a bell above the doorway and he leaned forward, a hand on top of the bowl of free fire-hot candies he'd set out on an 'impish' whim.]

Ah, Nepeta... good. [ahem] [ahem] [AHEM]

Voulez vous avec moi se swoi...

[His small, cat-like moirail comes bouncing in, the candy-bowl getting a pointed look before her attention swerves back to Equius.]

Ooh, are you still purracticing that? Try it again!

[He nodded and grunted, handing her a candy that was not tricked to be overly spicy.]

Of course. I see no reason not to attempt to broaden my horizons, and if I am to express romantic intentions then my moirail is the most appropriate to do so with.

[ahem] Voulez vous coucher avec moi ce soir?

[It is really, really, unbelievably creepy to see Equius trying this hard to offer a french leer to the words, especially with the way his lips quivered and his broken, snaggled teeth seemed to quiver. The feed crackled and cut off right about then.

No, he has no clue what he's just asked her to do.]

(OOC: This color is Equius and This is Nepeta)

[ The feed turns on to Annabeth looking thoughtful this time, rather than enthusiastic. ]

There's a large lack of books in the library about the protection of the city. I was wondering if someone can help me out? I have a few questions...I wasn't entirely certain how to get in contact with the gods to ask them, and it may be a bit presumptuous to want them to answer, anyway. [ She knows from experience. Sometimes gods get upset if you pester them with too many invasive questions. You have to be careful. ]

I guess the ice attack has just been on my mind...it bothers me a little bit. [ A pause. ] I don't think talking about it here is the best idea. But if anyone knows where I can get more information on the city itself, someone to talk to, that'd be g--

[From somewhere in the background there’s a shout--] Hey--! [And then the black tufts of one Percy Jackson’s hair appears as he moves to sit by his girlfriend.] We still have Capture the Flag.

--Right, I almost forgot. [ She repositions the camera so his (dumb) face is also in the picture, and smiles. ] Everyone should sign up for capture the flag. Well...just let us know if you’re interested. It’s going to be a lot of fun. Also, my team is totally going to win.

[That would be a nudge and a roll of his eyes.] If she can last five minutes. She totally missed my last Capture the Flag where we stormed a fort and water cannoned some Romans up the nose.. I think it’ll be the best one yet.

And he missed a lot of things while he was gone, but don’t listen to him. We’re going to have a good time, no matter who wins or loses. [ But the look she gives Percy clearly says she’s expecting to win. ]

[He throws his hands up.] Okay, fine. But I still say you better watch out. [It’s said with the same mischievous, troublemaking grin as per usual before he glances at the screen.] You owe me a movie in a few minutes! [Is he pouting? He probably is but he at least moves to get up and let her finish her message, but he’s more definitely pouting because he’s bored and she promised. She rolls her eyes.]

Fine, fine! Capture the Flag. Respond if you’re interested? We’ll tell you the time and the day, and what team you’re on. It’ll be great. . . and if you have any information about what keeps the city safe from outside threats, let me know.

[ The bracelet just catches the softer tone of her voice as she asks Percy what movie he wants (with, it might be noted, fake lamentations), before the feed cuts. ]

(( green = percy. Let us know if you want to play capture the flag! ))

[Today, Hibiki seems to be spending some time in the Grimoire's Sigil, for those who can recognize the background behind her. In her hands is a green plate with an array that some may remember from the past painted on it.]

Umm... Hi, everyone! I started getting a little hungry while I was studying runes, so... I thought I'd make some snack plates for everybody to use while they're here.

This one is for melon bread. If you just activate the rune like this, [She holds the plate horizontally again and presses her hand against it,] melon bread will appear!

[And so it does! One warm loaf sits on the plate, waiting.]

There's a red plate that makes cinnamon bread, too. As long as everyone's careful and keeps the plate clean, we should be able to use it for a while without having to reapply the paint. Just, umm... try not to eat off of these plates, okay? That way they can stay clean for everyone to use!

((ooc: Well, ladies and gentlemen, here it is! The post for the Gossip Girl plot! Anything too dumb I'm blaming it on Loki. I'm turning off my notifs so feel free to mingle and jump on each other.
