So destruction and fighting and everything aside. Does anyone know... how long someone can stay uhm. Passed out in a coma? I know some people dream of what's happening at home like that but how long does it normally last?

no one can say for sure when they'll wake up. if you're worried, you could try talking to the god who runs your house.

either should work, though if you're on better terms with one over the other, i suggest you talk to them.

no. it won't wake them up faster. but they can likely see whether or not they're in pain, or sick, or asleep for another reason.

Last time I went home and came back here, that I remember, I was gone about a week? But I've had some of my friends stay asleep longer. Scott was out for a few weeks.

Is it proportional? The longer you stay asleep, the more you go through at home?

I don't think so? I've seen people go grey and come back without having been any different. And some take a nap and go through a week or a month or... you know, it's not really relative. Maybe it depends on how much of a break they need from here?

Yes. It happens in Asgard sometimes? I guess you haven't seen it yet. It happened to me before too, but I wasn't out nearly as long.

There's no set time limit. I'm sure you've heard that already. But it rarely lasts longer than three or four weeks, that I've heard of. [ Quietly. ] I've been wondering the same, though.

Yeah. [She has heard. But she hesitates to say more, unsure.]

What happens after the three or four weeks? If they don't wake up, I mean.

It's likely that they're not just sleeping anymore, but that they're gone entirely. It probably won't take long for them to disappear. [ Gale has been gone long enough that she's starting to think he's gone for good, and Peeta said something about Madge, but Katniss hasn't seen her, either. ]
