[The video flickers on, revealing a mostly dark room. There's a small lamp lit, and at first, that's all that can be seen. Soon, the screen shifts, and there is Seiko. She is smiling, but the dark circles under her eyes kind of ruin the effect.]

What do you do when you can't sleep? I've tried counting sheep, drinking tea, warm milk, shifting my bed... Nothing helps.

[Her smile falls, and she shakes her head, shutting off the feed.]

[The video opens on a grey outdoor scene. Conan's beaming broadly at the screen. He's wearing what should be a uniform jacket on a grown man but on Conan is more like a ankle length coat. He also has a matching cap that looks like it belongs to the 1950s. The reason for this quickly becomes clear.]

I have a job! It's not a very exciting or special -- but I got one! I'm delivering things for the post office in Hel! I'm still learning my way around the city, so if you see me somewhere looking lost, help me out okay? As a thank you, I'll deliver stuff for you too!

Oh, and if you're heading outside today, make sure you've got a scarf and gloves! I think it's getting even colder out here.

[A sneeze is heard as Seiko comes into focus, sniffling. She has a bedsheet and comforter wrapped around her, and the dim lighting indicates she's huddled in her room.]

Anyone got a job opening? I kinda need to buy a coat, eheh. Don't have anything besides the clothes on my back, and this is a summer uniform... It wasn't this chilly back home, just saying.

This still sounds like something out of a manga.

[A girl appears on-screen. She hasn't quite been able to swallow this scenario; it all seems just a little too weird.]

Picking the great Ritsu was an excellent choice! I can bring colour to this world! Although... it's a little sad.

[Ritsu places her hand on her heart, bowing her head. She allows for a nice, dramatic pause and then-]

[Exaggerating? Mayyybe. ...Now? Would be a good time for someone to hit her on the head.]

[Okay, Gumi backs off a bit, but nice introduction huh? It only gets stranger.]

[It’s hard to hear, but there’s almost something robotic about her voice. Maybe if she actually slowed down her speaking a bit and stopped bouncing around in excitement.]

Wow, okay this has to be the most polite alien abduction ever. These people are just so helpful. Even though the whole faceless thing was really weird. And the colors are kindof dreary. Never fear citizens! Gumi is here to assure you Gumi did not take any part in this abduction! Gumi is only a super cool observer on your planet! Abductions are mostly just weird and gross. Except this one. Gumi hasn’t seen anything gross yet!

Besides, Gumi always asks for permission!

Ah! Almost forgot the most important thing! Gumi is looking for the other Vocaloids and Big Brother. They’re very popular and easy to find, so any word would help Gumi a ton!

I gotta say, I'm glad I'm out of that place; I would've tried to bring the others along, but this just sorta happened. Couldn't really control it or anything. I'm sure they'll find their way here sooner or later.

I hope my brothers and sisters will be okay without me... They really can't cook that well on their own. My little brother's idea of dinner is a piece of cheese on toast, you see. While it's not bad, it's not really that filling either.

[She chuckles a bit.]

[At first, there's static, and then complete silence for about a minute. Then, an audible sigh can be heard.]

['You know, if I really wanted to be in another world, I would have accepted Haruhi's offer back in the beginning of high school a long time ago. Though I'm thinking that this isn't her fault, even with that fiasco.

I'd usually ignore getting weird communicating devices, but it doesn't look like I have much of a choice. I highly doubt I would have any means of getting out of this place- ['Considering the fact that I'm pretty much an ordinary human,'] but does anyone realize how weird this situation is?

Not only have we been whisked away from our homes, we've supposedly been given some sort of 'supernatural ability' in order to "flourish" [And even though he doesn't put up any air quotes, it's completely implied.] in this place. I'm no detective, but getting a power to survive a place is definitely not good news.

And I wouldn't like the fate of all existence to rest in my hands, either. ['Though then again, isn't this typical? I already have to deal with Haruhi, who, in her own right is not only considered a 'patron deity', but is the only reason why my world still exists. Yeah, I've already gotten this whole "the fate of the world is in my hands" speech before.
