There was....a triple flashing star, a comet, a ringed gas giant....

[Yup, Kara has found some paints and is still trying to figure out this direction to Earth thing. Even in Asgard. She can't help that desire, that pull and determination to get there. To lead the fleet there, in spite of most of them not believing her, assuming her to be a Cylon.

Her paintings rather do resemble Jupiter. For those that know, they could easily assume that to be the 'ringed gas giant' she mentions. Or Saturn, less large but definitely ringed.

She keeps going, some of the red paint dripping onto her cheek as she paints her ceiling of her room, biting her lip and apparently not noticing that while painting and wiping some from her wrist that she bumped the bracelet in the process. The video is looking down at her and her bed, at the papers and sketches and paints surrounding her.]

There has to be some way to figure it out. But how the frak can I find Earth when I can't feel it from here, like I could back home?

[She goes to wipe at her cheek, rest staining her hand when she withdraws it and notices the bracelet. Her green eyes widen before she frowns at it, giving everyone a good view of her paint streaked cheek as she goes to turn it off.]

Oh for frak's sake, this stupid thing.....

[Blip. And the video is live! ... This sure is a pretty noisy recording, but the pink-haired boy in the foreground raises his voice so he's easily heard anyway.

(It doesn't really help, though, that the louder he speaks, the louder the pile of crowns, necklaces, and... bats? he's wearing gets.)]

God! Heeey, God! I thought I'd send you a greeting, since you must be pretty happy with yourself right now. And I gotta say, I'm pretty impressed! I never knew you had so may backups. The dragon was pretty cool, too.

... But it's still cheating at the end of the day, you know. [Slight frown.] Not only that, but I have to go through this round as an almost-human with a lame power... I guess it's fun in its own way, but you could have warned us.

Anyway, what's up with these conditions? I don't mind a war, but isn't it against the treaty to bring all the worlds into it? It's your funeral, I guess, but you really might have a little trouble on your hands.

[A clap ends that little portion of the message, his face relaxing from its semi-thoughtful expression.

It also pans out.

Dear Thor: your kitchen? Is now entirely filled with pigs. No wonder it was so noisy-- It kind of looks like half of Freyr's herd might be here, actually. The advantage(?) to the power of SPEED.]

I had a question for the rest of you, too! [Waves a hand at a mid-sized pig. Yes, that is a butcher knife he's holding.]

Which part of the pig is the bacon, anyway?

[Having just arrived, River's missed out on some exciting stuff. It's probably for the better, though, since she seems unsettled by what little she's gotten. The transmission is audio only, but you can hear the tension in her voice.

Although her question may be a little odd.

Do you all have faces?

[At first it looks like the video might be an accident, given how he never really looks at the screen. But as he starts speaking it's pretty clear that this is deliberate.]

Though these gods have attempted to deceive us once, if their words are true this time, then there is no other choice than to fight this war for them. I care not for their incompetence, but I can not let this miserable world end my own.

So how many of you intend to fight? Your reasons are not of importance, only your decision.

[a BIG pause]

I am also... [oh god he doesn't want to do this YOU CAN TELL HE DOESN'T WANT TO DO THIS AND HE'S SO ANGRY HE EVEN HAS TO but it's been days so this looks like his only option. he'll say this with the biggest scowl on his face, sounding like he wants to murder someone. which he does.] looking for a man. He is from Hi-no-Moto, claiming to know Tokugawa Ieyasu and spreading vile lies about the Toyotomi clan. Should you meet him, inform me at once and tell him that Ishida Mitsunari will tear the skin from his body and make sure his head leaves his neck in the most gruesome manner possible!

[and the feed ends there, with a death threat.]

So, if the dragon is to believed, there's a war coming, and we're all expected to participate. [He pauses, then shakes his head.] No, maybe not expected, but if someone's planning on attacking the city, then it affects all of us anyway. With the walls sealing us in, we've nowhere else to go.

That means we'll be seeing more of what happened--the fires, the injuries--and we need to be prepared when they strike next. I don't know about the newer folk, but a lot of us who were here since the beginning have been practicing the powers the gods gave us. I think...if we're going to give ourselves a good chance of surviving this war, we should all try to work together...help each other.

[There's a pause as he fiddles with something off-screen.] I was thinking, each house should have a few people volunteer to teach the newer members how their powers work. We all sort of blundered through it the first time around, but I don't think we have the time to do that anymore. Not if the dragon and its companions are serious about the war.

Anyway, Sigyn's part of the city has a hospital, and the healers there are--[Whatever he's about to say next is lost in a sudden yelp. Merlin jerks his hand back and frowns at it, just as a smallish form practically launches itself at him.

And down he goes, flailing his arms as he falls off his chair. The bracelet manages to catch the words that sound suspiciously like "Ow! What was that for, Arch--" before the video cuts off.]
