[The feed opens to... well. Snow. And the Heimdall snowman in the far background, with one Kuchiki Byakuya peering down at the "camera"  with a puzzled expression on his face.]

Is there a point to making these... snow sculptures?

[They remind him of sand sculptures. But those hadn't really had a point beyond entertainment either. It doesn't seem to be the case, here. Y'know, what with them talking and moving and all.]

[Enjoy Byakuya's usual blank face, no real hint of emotion present.]

It is foolish to close one's eyes to reality, but by the same token, it is ridiculous to expect those who have been brought here will simply bow our necks and accept a duty imposed on us by foreign gods, questioning nothing.

[A small pause.]

I am, however, willing to admit there has been no inconsistency to be found between what we have been told, and the world we are currently in. I urge anyone who has, however, to step forward and speak. Perhaps then, if this is meant to be a silly charade, it will fall apart before too long.

[And if it's not a silly prank of some sort... welp. He doesn't say that, though.]

Additionally, should anyone hailing from Seireitei be present, I request they make themselves known at once.
