[Ranka takes a deep breath before she starts to talk. She opts for voice, because if she did this on camera she'd never stop blushing.]

Ah, so I have a question. Is it weird to like someone here? I mean I know that there is a lot going on, but it just sort of happened.

There is a person back home that I loved very much, but I'm not sure-

[She sighs again.]

I'm not sure I should even be asking this type of thing here. Sorry!

Is this thing recording?

[ She pondered out loud while she leaned herself closer to get a better look at the video camera which was attached to the monitor. Once she took noticed of the solid green light under the camera’s lens, Mix pulled herself away from the camera and sat back into a chair.  ]

I’ve only been here for a couple of days and I’m still not entirely sure what exactly is going on. But from I did gather we were sent here to bring back color into this world?

[ She did think the whole idea of bring joy to this place seem rather tedious, but she knew she was in no position to complain or to make a snarky comment about it. This strange place was now her new home and she had no choice but to obey the rules and to  make the best out of it, even if she would give anything to return back to Vega and back to a more familiar environment.

Make the best of it, huh?

Maybe she was brought here for a reason. Maybe that reason was to bring back regulations and order. Perhaps she could suggest a few rules, starting with things that she personally found a bit troubling and even tasteless. ]

I don’t see how that could even be possible unless we install a few new rules.

[ Here it comes. . . ]

I find the current housing situation inappropriate! The houses should be sorted by sex, this way; there will no mingling between the two. Co-ed housing is certainly not a way to bring joy and happiness!  And I'm sure I'm not the only person here that feels this way.  It’ll only pollute and worsen this horrible place even more! 

[It's taken Andy a long time to make his first video. There was a lot of practice involved to get the shots on this just right... so much, in fact, that he probably hasn't even watched what other people have been broadcasting. At all.

It begins with an extreme close-up of a chin and mouth in profile.]

"Why do you dig?"

[The view pulls away and swings so that Andy's face is now seen full on as he strikes a pose: eyes closed, chin between thumb and forefinger. The philosopher.]

When legendary tunnel engineer Alejandro Vedernikov was asked that question, he responded: "Because a new world awaits on the other side."

[He points to the sky dramatically and looks straight at his digital audience!]

Now I, Andy W. Hol, stand in that new world! Emerging from a tunnel I dug myself, I have come to this gray city of Asgard with a special mission from the gods themselves! [He strikes a different pose, this time with his palm held flat against his chest.] "Andy," they said to me, "You must preserve this world. Preserve it by flourishing and bringing joy to others!"

This is a duty I intend to uphold with all seriousness. So seriously, in fact, that I've already come up with a great idea that'll let everyone have fun! It's so good that all of you will wonder how someone else didn't come up with it before...

[He's pointing straight at the screen now. That's right: AT YOU.]
