[The video turns on as Akane stares at her bracelet. Just what function does it have in this 'game'? It's different than the ones she is used to, but she fears it nonetheless. This isn't her game. She has no clue what's going on, and the fear she felt when she played the first nonary game, well, it's back.

Looking a little uncomfortable, she looks at the bracelet noticing it's on. So it does work that way! That bit of uncomfortableness she once showed is now replaced with a smile. A bright, cheerful smile!]

Hi! So we're here to live and grow, right? How are we supposed to do that? Is there a game we're supposed to play? Are these gods and goddess going to punish us if we don't follow these basic rules?

It seems interesting, and I hope we can all get along and make it out of here together!

[There's a sound of laughter after that, emphasizing how cheerful she is in contrast to the expression she initially showed.]

Oh, do we go by our real names here, or do we have codenames? If we're doing codenames, I'm June! Let's all get along, okay?

[ The video feed comes on, but Rika doesn't quite address everyone just yet. It looks like she's taking a moment to move some windows around on her touch screen. There's a troubled expression on her face for a few seconds, seeming like she's struggling. This sort of technology is something she isn't used to. She didn't even own a computer back home. But even if she did, they weren't that advanced.

Finally, she looks into the screen and gives a polite bow of her head in greeting. She has been roaming around outside in the Freya district. ]

Good morning, Asgard.

I'm searching for a few friends of mine. Their names are Furude Hanyuu and Houjou Satoko. [ Actually, there's more than those two... but they were the two standing closest two her at the time. ]

They're both about the same age as me. [ So, probably about nine or ten-years-old? ] If you meet them, please tell them that Furude Rika is waiting for them at the Freya House. We usually stick together like glue.

Thank you very much. [ Then she flashes a big smile. ] Nipa~☆

[ A pause. There was something else she wanted to ask before she shut off the feed. ]

Mii. Has anyone else encountered a talking snowman? It asked me for a kiss.

...I think it was more like a snowwoman than snowman.

“Restoring color and life”, hm? Well, it certainly sounds interesting, at the least.

[the oddness of the situation at hand doesn’t seem to be fazing her much if her tone of voice and her calm expression are anything to go by. compared to the things that popped up in the mazes of witches, this isn’t too terrible, though. in fact, it wouldn’t be too hard to call it luxurious in comparison. maybe that’s why it’s so easy for her to swallow.

either way, the girl in the video smiles softly before continuing.
]

If we’ve been brought here and given a task, it might be for the best if we try to get to know one another, don’t you think? I’m Mami Tomoe. I haven’t seen any familiar faces yet, but I’m from Mitakihara, if that means anything to anyone.

[a pause.]

... I’m afraid I’m still not fully aware of the situation, though. I read the letter and spoke with the maid when I arrived, of course, but if there’s anything else I should know, I would appreciate the heads up.

[with that, the recording stops.]

[There's a closeup of Kazumi's face at first, before she pulls away slightly, with a look of awe and curiosity on her face.]

Whoah... this thing really works!? No way! I bet Nico would get a kick out of this.

Heya, everyone! My name's Kazumi, and it looks like I'm here to help restore the world... though I kind of wonder how that even works. I guess I'm going to find out soon enough, though.

[And at this point, there's a loud growling coming from the vicinity of Kazumi's stomach.]

But first... I'm hungry! Where's the kitchen? I'll make everyone some of my grandma's strawberry risotto ♥!

(ooc: now with a log! feel free to tag in.)
