Why is it that nobody ever asks you if you want to turn your whole life upside down to save the world? And on a similar note, does anyone offer any form of instruction or training when it comes to the use of these powers that have just been thrust upon us?

If you're going to weigh up someone's sensitivity about not being asked politely over the fate of an inconceivable number of lives, I know what I'd rather risk. Though, personally, I do ask first, should I get the opportunity. [But he doesn't always.]

Lady Merryweather has a quite nice ring to it even if she strictly speaking probably isn't actually a lady for all that she acts like one. Titles are finicky little things, are they not? She is left unsure what to call Sansa in turn, but decides that tit for tat will most likely work. ]

Likewise, Lady Stark. Where in the Citadel is such training given, and by who?

That would depend on how you chose to learn to use them. More often than not, they're means of self-defense.
