Hello there! My name is Bianca and I've noticed something that's going around Asgard! I'm starting to see that a lot of people are curious about what Pokémon are. I've also noticed that some people have or had Pokémon eggs too sooo I thought it would be a good time to tell you what they are! Let me see if I can do this just like Professor Juniper did... [ahem]

So the first question that a lot of people ask is what are Pokémon? Pokémon are creatures back home that we live along side with! They're just like our friends and we help each other out. You can think of them like animals but the biggest difference is that they're aware of what we're saying! As a result, we're able to understand what they're saying sometimes too! Due to this, it's a good idea to start talking to them as soon as you can! It'll deepen your bond with them! While battling is a good way to strengthen your bond, you can't really battle here. So, I'm going to give this to Hilda!


Thanks! Okay, so while Pokemon are really good pets and companions, they’re also the center of competition in our world. A lot of Pokemon are naturally competitive, so Trainers like us capture and raise Pokemon to their top potential and use them in contests of skill and strategy called battles. To be a good Trainer, you have to have a strong bond with your Pokemon - friendship is the key!

But if that isn’t your cup of tea, there are other jobs surrounding Pokemon you can do! Some people choose to be Breeders to try to raise and groom the best Pokemon from when they’re newly hatched. There are competitions that focus on beauty and Pokemon grooming, too, but battles are definitely what most people choose to do. It’s not just ruthless fighting, though - there’s tactics to it!


[The boy in the red beret simply nodded at what he was hearing, his smile wide as he went to go speak up.]

Yeah, and don’t forget about the types and natures of Pokémon! There are all different types like fire, water, grass, electric, the list goes on! Some Pokémon even have two types to them, like my Torterra being both grass and ground. Another thing to remember is their nature, Pokémon have plenty of personality too just like people! I’d be careful about that one, I’ve often run into Pokémon that are sassy and like to thrash about...

[He Laughs nervously.] Either way, feeding them properly is important too. Often times they seem to prefer different kinds of poffins, Pokétopia has those of course.


[ they’ve covered a lot by now.. ah, wait, he knows what to discuss. ] Also I’m sure some of you have seen and or met Zekrom, even Reshiram, and maybe a few others similar before.. those are what we call Legendary Pokemon. You might have heard me talk about it before but they’re basically very powerful and, well, special compared to the more common kinds of Pokemon. They’re one of a kind and very difficult to find. When you consider their power, you can sorta say.. they’re almost like mini-gods.

[ at least when you think of the gods here. ]

Some have created lands in forming regions, give protection over certain areas, live for centuries and some can even control space and time. One is even said to have been the beginning of it all that started the creation of the whole Pokemon universe and living beings.

[ And Red is only in the background playing rock paper scissors with Pikachu. “Why am I even here” would sum up his demeanor since we have to face the reality... Red can’t explain things even if his life depended on it.

It’s okay, guys. Just enjoy watching Pikachu freak out while trying to communicate that he meant paper, not rock. Curse these stubby fingers of his. ]

[ Blue’s not sure why he’s around either, considering he barely knew anyone sans Red. Somewhere off in the distance and on the side of the feed, his expression will constantly be switching from impressed to being neutral — his juniors were doing a far better job explaining than he had expected. … But, he’s pretty quick to lose interest seeing as there wasn’t anything for him to really do.

Yeah, he really can’t think of anything better to do than playing around with Arcanine’s cheeks. Poking them up — down, pulling them out, pushing them in — it’s all in good fun until she sneezes (rather loudly) in his face. He doesn’t mean to be distracting from the main show, but, oops. ]

Did you get an egg, Roxas? [ Of all things, Red was more curious about this in particular. Not explaining shit, but the fact someone he knows got an egg! That's the implication, right?!

Well, you folks seemed to have covered anything that I would have asked for in the future. [He's been really lazy in finding out more information about the things, anyways.] ...the breeding aspect does grab my attention the most, however. These eggs, they're easy to tend for, correct?

Yup! It's a big responsibility, but there isn't much you have to do - just keep it safe and warm. If you do, you'll have a happy and healthy baby Pokémon in no time!

Not that they ever show them or they ever pop up conveniently.

You guys seem to know a lot about them already. [Kudos to you Bianca, for organizing it all.] Is there a set limit on how many you can have?

It depends on what you mean by that!

We usually get six to travel with us but there's always a place where the others can go! If you use a PC on the computer, you can use it to place them there until you want to go meet them again!

Don't worry, there's usually a lot more other pokemon with them too so they don't have to worry about being alone!
