My name is Mystique, and I'm a mutant, not just here, but back where I'm from too. I can do things others can't, because there's a mutation in my DNA. I am not Katniss Everdeen, although I do look like her now, exactly like her, if I'm being honest. The only difference is the hair. I'm a blonde -- she's a brunette. I don't normally look like her, however. Remember that mutation I mentioned? Well, because of it, I'm normally blue and scaly. [ She says that like she's proud, not ashamed. ] That's not the reason I'm making this broadcast, though.

[ She pauses. ]

I'm just curious. Have any of you ever met someone who looks almost exactly like you? Their face and body type are similar if not entirely the same as yours -- and their voice, it sounds the same way yours does. I think sometimes this person is called... a doppleganger. I'm not sure how that all works, but if anyone knows anything about it, I'm all ears.

[ The video feed is greeted by Tifa's very happy, chipper, smiling face. She's been very affectionate lately. ] Hello! I've noticed that sometimes there are people around who don't seem very happy with where they are... I'm Tifa, and I live in Freya's house - I thought I would offer something warm to eat for anyone who might want it, although we're provided for on a regular basis while here. I was thinking a midday meal, maybe tomorrow? Outside of the house, but still in the Freya district. Sometimes the gathering is half the fun, hmm?

I'm sure everyone's noticed that the gods are playing games again. Thanks to Freyr's post, we don't have to wonder too much about who is responsible. We've still got a lot to learn about what's going on.

[It's been a few days since Freyjadour had made the initial announcement regarding Draupnir and its employee situation, and while it had garnered some results the topic was not something Eyes was going to completely this afternoon as the feed flickered to life, allowing full view of him and of the theater in which he stood.]

To those who answered Freyjadour's call for employment at the theater, I would once again extend my thanks. I would also remind everyone that the theater is for everyone to use, so don't think you have to be employed here in order to use or rent the facilities, though those do require an initial fee.

That said, the information I seek now are those who already consider themselves to be employed by Draupnir. This is to ensure everyone receives their pay for their efforts and we may have a better understanding of what services are still needed. This includes those who may be interested in holding a performance in the future.

[And just as he finishes, a small white kitten manages to make it way into the camera's view, effectively tapping at various spots of the hologram that almost leaves Eyes looking the slightest bit exasperated. Honestly, now that she was able to move about without too much of his guidance she had developed a bit of a mischievous streak.] Charles...

[the video starts up and shows Touya here who looks a bit exhausted. he seems to be somewhere outside since he looks to be leaning close to his black dragon.]

So I was wondering, I know some of us are given powers here.. but I wanted to know, did anyone have any abilities before arriving here? Back in your own world? As a Trainer I'm use to Pokemon having abilities, but I myself never had any.

[sorta scratching his arm not very subtly, since his jacket is still on it could just be some itch right? right]

As it goes for the abilities here, if you keep practicing no doubt the experience will make it grow stronger yeah? Has anyone managed that? I have the Growth ability and so far I can only do simple things.

..Healing wouldn't be able to heal poison, would it? Provide an antidote? [ten points if you can connect his asking with why he's scratching his arm still, YEP... touya you are so dumb can't you tell plants apart]

[The video opens to Cheriour sitting on a bench, surrounded by Faceless people. His bracelet is to the side, and one can see that he’s got a book named “Fairytales and Other Stories” opened in front of him, and a Faceless girl is pointing at one story in the table of contents over his shoulder.]

You really want me to read this one? [His face falls somewhat, but he nods.] Um,okay. If you really want to hear it, then I guess I'll tell it. I warn you, it's not really one with a happy ending...

[But the Faceless girl just keeps pointing at the book, and Cheriour lets out a sigh, not being able to say no. He props the book on his knees, and after a pause, starts to read aloud, voice calm and steady.]

( OOC cut for a very long tale and an unsettling picture )

[Cheriour falls silent and closes the book, staring at the group of Faceless people around him with a sad expression.]

The moral of the story is…there are always consequences for what you do. No matter what. Or another moral, I guess, is that there is always someone worse than the worst person out there...

[And the people just stare back as he puts the book under his shoulder, preparing to leave, when he suddenly, with slight horror, notices his bracelet blinking at him to the side.]

Wait, what, this was on?!

[OOC: TL;DR basically there's an evil prince who kills his brothers and gets punished in return by a terrifying creature (who happens to have some similarities to said angel reading the tale) who uses the prince's tainted heart as a pendulum. SORRY FOR THE LONGNESS I couldn't help it. ;;]

[ Today's video post starts with lots of glare; sunlight streams directly into the feed through a window for several second until whoever's got the camera on shifts--apparently pulling their arms down from above so that they're held at an angle where there's just a view of the windowsill and their hands. Normal people hands with black nails and a lovely little midget wolf spider dangling between them. They'll twist upward so they stand parallel with the window, and as the spider taps at his hands to test the waters Kaz will start speaking like he's talking to someone off-screen. ]

Okay, so...I guess the first thing is glad t'see you're eatin' right. I mean you started off super-puny so I figured you'd be dead by but seriously, look at you. Totally fattening up there. Good work~ When it gets warmer I'll sneak some of the good stuff in for you. My treat.

[ But!! He looks back up with eyes of fury. ] I've been wandering around Asgard for a two moons now, but I wanted to make sure. Has anyone seen these two cats?

The first one has white, long hair--respectively round ears and a fluffy tail--kind of tall... Has an eyepatch. [ This is starting to sound ridiculous already which is the reason why he trails off for a bit while looking off to the side, but continuing on. ] Then the other one has black ears, a slicker tail, and some black markings on his bicep.

They don't get along well, so you might notice them fighting with each other if they were here. [ Embarrassing. ]

... Also, how does Asgard deal with curses? [ It doesn't take him long after that to turn off the device. THANK THE HEAVENS HE GOT THAT OVER WITH and he hopes he recorded it correctly. Technology is so foreign. ]

[There's a long pause, where Kadar considers both the question and his own answer for a moment.]

Damien, I found some paper and pens to draw a sopheria like you wanted.

[ Sophie holds up a piece of paper, showing the flower she just drew with a couple of different colored markers. It's not... very good. And if you're curious, these are the flowers that she tried to draw. ]



This is a sopheria. When sopherias bathe in starlight for several nights, they glow and become a blossomgale. I saw them become a blossomgale before and they were blown far away. It would be great if they flew all the way to Asgard!

I didn't see any amongst the flowers during the party. I wish... all those flowers didn't have to disappear afterward. [ She releases a small sigh, lowering her drawing. ]

Is there anyone from Sigyn with the... growth power? Damien and I are still looking for someone to help us grow miracle berries.

[Audio today! She has no reason to use video, unless someone really wants a look at the glass slipper she received at the Lux opening.]

I know this is a pointless question, but I was wondering if anyone had magic in their world that's casted by singing? Well - singing and thought, but it's the singing that's important! And I don't mean just speaking normally, that's stupid and barbaric. I mean actual melodies that create magic.

[She's still skeptical about Rapunzel's idea, but it couldn't hurt. Besides, it would be kind of interesting if other nonhumans could cast magic in that way.]

There's something else too, and this is really important! Does anyone know the meaning of receiving a glass shoe? It's a high heel and it looks expensive, but I only got one.... Not very practical, right? [She sounds a little unsure since she thinks she has a vague idea, but she's still very confused.] But I'd still really appreciate any help with this!

... Oh, and does anyone know what 'heaven' is?

So... hey. [seth is just the king of really fascinating starts to posts, huh? but at least he's aware of it—he immediately rolls his eyes and shakes his head.] I guess I kinda got inspired by someone else asking what our police systems are like... but I'm more interested in kinda just what other people's worlds are like?

[since it became apparent to seth very quickly that not everyone was from the same world as him—and he's been interested ever since.]

I mean, like, not everybody's got werewolves where they're from, but where I'm from that's totally normal! [well all right not "werewolves" per se, but whatever.] So... yeah. Anything your world has that you really miss? Or something cool about it?

[The feed starts with rapid tapping, probably done by the little 6" thing that resembles a panda. It looks over at the boy who looks a bit surprised.]

Oh... So that's how it works.

[It squeaks and eats something that looks like a berry. Damien doesn't look so satisfied with this and turns to the feed.]

Is there anybody that knows how to grow plants? Or, uh... more specifically, miracle berries. I don't want to waste any seeds, so...

[His stare slowly shifts away from the camera, looking a little unsure about staring directly at it while he's talking. What is maintaining eye contact.]

... And I think that's it. [Then he looks over at the tiny panda and sighs.]

You can't eat any more of those, Jinjing. It'll mess up your tongue and I'll run out.
