[ When Amy starts up the video, it's pretty obvious that she's just dying to share something. She keeps her composure though, her little secret isn't ready to be revealed just yet. For now she'll keep it quiet and ask the question she really has been meaning to for a while. ]

Well, hello Asgard. I've never properly introduced myself, but for those of you I haven't met, I'm Amy. Relatively new, somehow still relatively well-known - apparently there was another me before? I don't know. Anyway point is - [ She takes a moment to smirk at someone out of view, but quickly clears her throat and continue. ] Jobs are kind of important, you know. Can't freeload forever, so consider this my way of introducing and marking my interest, all in one.

[ She really can't keep it quiet any longer though, so as soon as the business end of things is out of the way she gets a big, sly grin on her face. Continuing in the most fakely nonchalant voice known to mankind, she shrugs casually as she adds: ]

Oh, and before I forget, I've got a little surprise for you all too.

[ Cue the video adjusting slightly to show another person sitting beside her - the exact same person, to be specific. She laughs slightly as she looks at the other Amy, then tips her head towards the video. ] Asgard, meet the other me. I suppose one just wasn't enough. Say hello, me.

[Amy #2 but don't actually call her that :|a has been waiting impatiently just off screen. Ever since she'd discovered the other her and that it wasn't just some kind of trick, they'd been sharing stories and really getting to know each other. As well as one can know themselves. When it's finally time, she pops on screen all full of energy. She does a happy little wave to everyone out there.]

[She bounces a little bit.] Isn't this cool? In my opinion, one was never enough. And now you've got two! [She looks at her other self and grins. Two is definitely better than one.]

[ The video turns on and Annabeth gives a small wave at the camera; she looks pretty excited for whatever reason. ]

Hi. My name's Annabeth Chase -- and I know I'm not the first, but I'm another person that's been brought here permanently after I arrived for the celebration.

But I was reading the welcome...uh, drawing? And I wasn't really satisfied by the answers. Can anyone tell me a little bit more about this place and the gods? Where I come from, we don't really have these same gods. [ You know, being a daughter of a Greek goddess and how the Greek pantheon is a thing. ] Any help you'd like to give would be really appreciated. Or maybe just tell me where I can go to find out some more -- I looked in the library, but it's so huge. I might have missed something.

Also if I'm going to be living here, I should probably help out. What's there to do around here? Jobs and stuff? I'd offer up my services as an architect, but you usually need some capital before you can build anything...
