[After getting his bracelet back, Dirk sighs and checks how long he's been native. Too long. He got caught up in robotics and anything else he could do to keep himself busy, and being so used to not needing sleep like a normal person, he got fatigued and disoriented and misplaced the bracelet. The question now, is what to do about his slip-up, so he types up a post to the network at large.]
A dude goes his entire life in motion.
Each night the sandman gets the bird and normal sleep just ain't a thing.
It makes for an intense fucking existence, but you get shit done.
Nothing lasts forever, though, and sandman gets the drop on him.
And in case it wasn't already clear as crystal, I'm talking about myself.
Putting the hypothetical bullshit to the side, I'm gonna get to the point.
How do you know when to stop moving before you're up shit creek without a paddle and adrift in a sea of gray faces?
Asking strangers for advice isn't a thing I do, but losing my bracelet was a pain in the ass and I don't want to do it again.
Anyway, I understand some shit's been going down while I was gone, so if you've got no words of advice fill me in on that. It'd be appreciated.
