[Calm blue eyes stare back at the screen. One can probably deduce that she’s some sort of student if her sailor top is any indication. It’s probably the sword that she’s handling so easily that seems odd with that outfit.]

Excuse me. I hope I’m not interrupting.

[Her voice is soft, her mannerism proper. That small smile she gives is inviting.]

I cannot deny that I'm flattered about the reason I was brought here. However I need to find my way back home. I have unfinished business that I just can’t abandon. My duty is to them.

[She moves the slightest and for a moment a glimpse of a short black skirt can be seen. Quite a bit of her thigh is revealed by that split at the side. When her face is shown again, she seems a little more serious and that smile is not visible anymore.]

Could anyone be so kind as to tell me how one earns an audience with these gods?

[Her fingers run against the sheathed blade.]

I will be very grateful for any sort of information.

Iceland
[It's still dark--since it's maybe three or four in the morning--but Iceland's got the video pointed out the library doors. Not that you could see anything even if there was light with all that fog, of course, and to better show what he's having people look at a blast of fire appears. It doesn't penetrate the fog or burn it away at all, the light going no farther than the distance of its flame.

The video focuses back on Iceland.]

So I guess something stupid is happening again.

[If you're in the library, Iceland is gathering up books to read; it's not like he's going anywhere any time soon.]

So, what exactly does someone do when they have a birthday here? I can't really say i'm expecting something from the Gods, considering what's been happening lately.

[ there's a break in lines for a moment, as if he's giving this some thought. ]

Anyone up for a pint?

Out of curiosity, I'd like to poll you, Asgard...

What do you think is the best display of defiance? Things like flipping someone off, or maybe something stupid and vain like...flipping your hair. Which "fuck you" would you be most inclined to give? Which is most insulting, and do you think those more vain gestures are pointless or effective in those situations?

There's a reason for this. Don't ask because it isn't important.

I'd like to know more about the powers here. If there's any information on how the gods gave them to us. In my word people don't have abilities like this, and anything that is learned can be programmed into the brain with the correct technology.

It is possible to collect various abilities, but nothing on this level.

[There's a pause. Perhaps she should end it there. But the part of her that wants to know more doesn't cease.]

Some in my world consider it evolution. But there was also more at play, not just ability to adapt to new programming.

I don't think it works like that here, but I'm curious as to how it relates. Why give them to us in the first place?

[Oh look it's this guy you should tell to go away already, on your video screen. Johnny, for a change, looks excited and happy as opposed to cranky.]

Hey losers. You ready to rock?

[The camera turns to show an amp set up on the front steps of Thor House, with a line if extension cords that leads back in through the doorway. Any house residents will definitely notice this.

Johnny sets his bracelet down, and positions it so the camera can show him holding a nice new electric guitar. Grinning, he plugs it into the amp.]

I guess I can take requests or some shit. But for now? I got some stuff I gotta get outta my system.

[And with that, he starts to play. I hope you like some punk tunes, Asgard, because that's what you're getting. Johnny is actually a fine guitarist, and manages to carry a song by himself pretty damn well. His gruff voice is perfectly suited to punk songs, too. Of course, that might not be everyone's cup of tea.

When he's done, he'll grab the bracelet and peer into the camera, smirking.]

You're welcome.

QUESTION.
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF ALL THE DEATH BULLSHIT WE'VE BEEN FORCED TO DEAL WITH LATELY?
EVERYONE WHO DIED CAME RIGHT BACK, RIGHT?
MORTALITY HAS NEVER BEEN AS DRIVING OF A FORCE FOR ME AND MY FRIENDS AS IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN, BUT THAT'S BESIDE THE POINT HERE.
IT'S COMPLETELY OBLITERATED NOW.
WE CAN DIE AND JUST COME RIGHT BACK.
OR DO YOU THINK THE GODS JUST DID THAT BECAUSE THEY WERE "SORRY" FOR PUTTING US THROUGH IT?
LET ME TAKE A STEP IN THE DANGEROUS DIRECTION OF LOOKING LIKE I CARE AND ASK:
HOW DOES THAT MAKE YOU FEEL?
