[ A device like this is little trouble for her to decipher and use; in fact it’s a little like home, using her ID card to keep in touch with people. ] Hello? My name is Safu. [ A short pause. ] I assume I’m speaking to other Travellers in the Eventide.
I’d like to know who’s been here the longest because I’d information about this place’s systems and the duties. The woman who greeted me spoke vaguely, so I’d appreciate any knowledge shared. I was told I was of the house of Odin and that I had a power, but I forgot to ask what sort of power.
[ Another pause, and then a statement that’s tacked on like an afterthought. ] ...also, if anyone knows a place where I can purchase sewing materials, that would also be appreciated. Thank you. [ Safu ends her first post there; it’s not how she usually speaks, but she keeps it polite and to the point. ]

--Is this... My apologies if this does not work out as intended, but...
[ There's a pause, a worried one. Saitou's just flicked on the device, after being told how to work it. There's a few kinks to work out, considering he has no clue if this thing even works, but he's hoping for the best. ]
I do not think that I am suited for this task you've given to me. I appreciate the thought and measures you have gone through to acquire me, however, I am needed elsewhere and my only talents... They do not lie in with 'flourishing'.
[ Another pause. He doesn't want to seem too rude, because while being kidnapped sucks, they seemed to have intentions that he would never expect. ]
It is important for me to return to Japan as quickly as possible. If anyone is getting this message, please elaborate on the situation.

[When the feed comes on Max is still trying to figure it out. Cursing over the technology, she hasn't seen anything like this since she escaped Manticore and not even Eyes Only had this kind of stuff at his fingertips.]
Okay, I got some bits and pieces from the freaky house maid... but what the hell's going on?
[She looks winded, like she's been running, and she had. Her wavy hair is hanging in loose tendrils in her face which is a mixture of confusion and worry. It lasts for only a second before her face winds up angry, her hazel eyes hard.]
Lydecker if you screwed me you're gonna pay!!

You know, I was totally psyched after that whole “chosen by the gods” spiel, but... I think I actually liked my last dream better. I mean, what’s with all the grays and faded colors? I thought a Holy City would look all elegant and impressive, with flowers and rainbows and stuff, but this? This is just disappointing. It’s like my brain used up all its creativity and now it’s just lazily making up the blandest dream worlds it can get away with.
Well, not on my watch! This dream needs some action! And nothing spices up a dream like a few heroic acts! So with that said...
[Fuka strikes a dramatic pose, pointing her baseball bat outward.]
Anyone need any super-exciting heroic acts? Cats in trees? Princesses in towers?
Failing that, I’ll also accept an endless supply of sweets provided by dreamy-looking butlers. That would make this a dream worth having.

still don't get why the people in charge don't just hire a team of landscapers and a bunch of people to paint everything
that'd be a lot easier, right?
[Replies will be in auto-format for what people respond with.]

[Prepare, Asgard; another of the Supernatural cast is on your screen and there's no car involved, which means seriousness and general nerding is to come.]
So it seems the stabbings were related to the Ides of March, as Sam and several others have posited, which coincides with the warning of the man that had been wandering the city. This raises several issues beyond the simple consequence of injury.
One, which is the most minor, is that time seems to be passing differently here. The time between the Valentine's Ball and the Ides of March was perceived as only half of what it should have been. This could be a simply difference in this dimension, in that what would normally be twenty-four hour periods are forty-eight, or a trick of how we are measuring time in our minds. It is something to be aware of, if not particularly consequential as of this moment.
[And though his tone has been generally just factual so far, it shifts to more serious now.]
The other, however, is why there would be attacks on us to begin with. Either this is work of another outside kingdom or the gods themselves, and the latter seems most likely as some have been receiving gifts instead of injury. As the pattern emerging so far is that those who listened to the man were rewarded and those who did not were harmed, it's a clear enough warning from the gods about what they expect us to be doing, which to believe in what we are told without skepticism or questioning.
[And this is the part Castiel is most focused on, because his warning bells have been going off since the moment their 'purpose' here had been told to them.]
To several, my stance in the matter of this war we are supposedly here for has been made clear, but I will state it for the others. There are great parallels in what is happening here and something that occurred in my world, in which doing as asked and fighting in the required war caused exactly what it was supposed to prevent, because the leaders had orchestrated it in that way. Questioning was not allowed, and doubt or refusal to do as told had severe consequences.
[There's a faint flicker in his neutral expression for a moment at that, before he covers it.]
It seems a risk here as well, but it is those situations that require doubt the most.

Hey there, everyone... it's been a rough couple of days, huh? [immediately after saying that, she winces and grimaces a little. curse not thinking before speaking...!] ... Thaaat's probably a huge understatement. My bad. It seems like things just keep happening one right after the other. But, hey, no use moping about what I can't do, right? That's not gonna help me or anyone else. I just hope everyone who got caught up in all that gets better soon. I don't have any healing powers or anything, but if there's anything I can do for anyone, just let me know—I'll do the best that I can.
In less morbid news... I know someone else on the network asked this recently, but is there some kind of pet shop around here? I'm one of the lucky ones who got something from home, and I think I'm gonna be needing some supplies soon—say hi, Muku! [right on cue, a large dog appears on the screen, barking enthusiastically as it tries to bat at the bracelet. Chie laughs as she pats the dog's head, trying to get it to calm down.] Hey, cut it out, you big lug!
Anyway, yeah, I've noticed a lot of other people have gotten pets, too, so maybe we could, I dunno, organize some kind of petowner club or something? You know, to share tips and... hang out and stuff, so we can help 'em get used to their new home—for the time being, that is. I know that something like that's not really high-priority for most people—not to mention it sounds kinda lame, and even I get that—but it gives people something to do, right? Plus, it'd be fun! I get the feeling we need something like that to help lighten things up every now and then.
So... yeah! Guess that wraps that up. Man, I never know how to end these things.

The events of the last few days have made it rather clear to me that we need to sharpen the survival instincts of some of our people. All the better to avoid injuries like the ones we've had, lately.
[Johnny is currently broadcasting from his window, looking out into the night. He stops for a moment to take up his shikomizue, opening the scabbard just enough to show a hint of the sword within.]
As successor to the Unchou Shihan Iai style of swordsmanship, it's my duty to offer my services to those that need them. Training that will consist not only of basic self-defense, but the exercises necessary to cope with pushing your body through a long haul of combat or physically taxing labor. I'll even break my rule of only teaching girls, and open the offer up to the far less fair gender. I'm sure some of you have already engaged in least some kind of open training, I know I'm not the only polished fighter here.
Those of you who CAN fight and choose not to pass on your knowledge, I suggest you get over your issues and get to it. To have the power and knowledge, yet not be willing to help others survive is an egregious sin, and I'll be more than willing to pound that fact into your thick heads.
[He hops to his feet, removing his sunglasses dramatically and gazing intensely into the camera.]
I see that some of you lament your lack of power, thinking your ability is "useless". Never think that you're useless, or that your power can't help others. All of us have been blessed with unique gifts. This place has taken from us with one hand, and given with the other. Refine your control and show our captors that you're determined to forge a path, no matter what the circumstances are!
