[When the feed comes on Max is still trying to figure it out. Cursing over the technology, she hasn't seen anything like this since she escaped Manticore and not even Eyes Only had this kind of stuff at his fingertips.]
Okay, I got some bits and pieces from the freaky house maid... but what the hell's going on?
[She looks winded, like she's been running, and she had. Her wavy hair is hanging in loose tendrils in her face which is a mixture of confusion and worry. It lasts for only a second before her face winds up angry, her hazel eyes hard.]
Lydecker if you screwed me you're gonna pay!!

I was thrown off my game by being hurled into another dimension.
Didn't have time to process it all.

Being kidnapped and double crossed really would've pissed me off.

The gist of "what's going on" is that this whole situation is an alternate universe type shenanigan, in which our heroes -- meaning you, me, and a whole lot of other people, who are all wearing matching bracelets for easy identification -- have been kidnapped by the Norse gods who are, in fact, real, and seem to be under the impression that hostage is a synonym for friend. The gods want us to bring life to their world, and possibly help them stop the Norse apocalypse, which is like the regular apocalypse, but Norse.
Also, they gave us superpowers because that totally makes up for throwing us into a warzone. [ Both sarcasm hands raised. ]
Recent happenings include a re-enactment of Julius Caesar, without crediting Shakespeare. Hello, copyright infringement. The moral of that story being: be nice to old people because your kindness might earn you items from your home universe/world/thing, whereas a lack of kindess and excess of rudeness will you get you a "Happy Ides of March, Asshole" stab wound, courtesy of the Gods.
Any questions? I like to think I know things.

And what makes them think I'll even help?
Stuff from home isn't really enough of an incentive.

They would probably say something like "we are not like you humans. You cannot understand our ways," to that, but I'm pretty sure they're just socially stunted. Not to mention the fact that they're probably kind of crappy at thinking things through. Given the whole 'gods are impulsive and make Bad Life Choices' schtick that's standard fare for a lot of polytheistic religions.

sdfhkjdsg i'm glad you like :Dc not many know her!
Good thing too. [She didn't know what she'd do if it turned out Lydecker was behind everything.] So, what, we're all just supposed to camp out here until we're needed?
DA is the only TV series that I've ever followed first to last episode and it is still my favourite.
[But yes, that would be the basic gist of it.]
jsfhkljasdhg well good you can tell me if i'm doing okay :Dc
Guess that sounds easy enough.
Might as well get comfortable since I'm stuck here.
Looks good so far!
Fffff thanks so much!
