[A young woman with a serious expression on her face appears on the screen. There are two shallow cuts bleeding freely on each of her hands near the knuckles. If the pain is bothering her, her expression doesn't betray her feelings on the matter. If anything, she looks mildly annoyed and confused, as if something isn't working as it should be and she doesn't understand why.]

I require bandages and information. If there are any X-men present, please give me your current location and I will find you.

[She pauses for a moment.]

Thank you in advance for your help.

[When the feed starts there are two people visible, Euri and Shu. Euri has a forced look of determination on her face, even though she's fidgeting slightly. She's never used the video option before due to her appearance, so this is uncomfortable. Even moreso considering the subject they're going to be focusing on is one that terrifies her.]

Hey, all you assholes! Listen up! We've got something important we need to tell you all!

[Unlike Euri, Shu looks uncertain. He's over complicating things in his mind and he's second doubting himself. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all.]

Assholes? Euri, you should be more polite. You can't go around calling people assholes.

[She does have a point though.]

I apologize for her behavior everyone.
[Pause.] Um...I would appreciate it if you all took the time to listen to us speak.

There's something dangerous out there that I think you all deserve to be aware of.

[Euri rolls her eyes and hisses back quietly.]

They won't listen if we don't get their attention!

[Then she raises her voice.]

Yeah! There's a vampire out there named Diva who's been attacking people!
[She nudges Shu in the side expectantly.]

That doesn't mean we should be rude about it.

[He thinks he's the last person people would listen to. At least Euri is here to bail him out.]

I know it sounds a little scary and sudden, but what Euri is saying is true. I was one of her victims.

[As proof, he'll show the injuries he received from Diva that night. They're bite marks located around his neck. Gross.]

I'd like it if all of you took the time to consider what we're saying. Really think about it.

[Good boy, Shu. Having evidence really helps their claim.]

Not just that! If you see her, kill her! At this rate she's going to kill someone.

Everyone, please be careful. This isn't something you should joke about.

We're talking about innocent lives here. Diva is far from innocent. That's all we need to say. Excuse us.

[The feed turns off.]

Freya
11 February 2012 @ 06:19 pm
[ In the past two days (and the last unbelievable night), Freya's been trying to make sense of this new place she's in. The faceless maid had told her what she could, answering the questions Freya could think of asking. It hadn't been much. "How am I alive," hadn't lead to much more than the discovery of a scar that shouldn't have had the possibility of forming.

Yet there it was, on her side, and here she stood. She's wandered out of Freya, taken cautious steps through the city and seeing what she could. Everything felt... hemmed in. More so after watching the Fog Gate, where the people native to this drab land were able to leave. Yet none of those wearing the bracelets had been allowed the same courtesy.

She's been recording this silence, eyes on whatever it is she's seeing offscreen. Her backdrop looks natural, perhaps a tree, or some particularly well-groomed hedge. ]

It's a lovely lake. Tame... but lovely in its own way.

[ She glances toward the screen, hands hovering lightly over it. Her expression is inscrutable for a moment, then perplexed. She wanted to say something. Now that she'd managed to start one of these communications on her own, she doesn't know exactly what to say. ]

Are there any wilder gardens in this city?

[ There. She glances down, then to the screen again, offering an unseen audience a small smile before she lets her hands come down, ending the video. That couldn't possibly be offensive. By that alone she hoped not to attract anyone prone to yelling and anger. The propensity for that on this strange, magical communication was already surprising her in... interesting ways. ]

It would seem as though my sister and Nero are no longer present. Some say that they return home, that is what I would like to believe.

[ A beat. ]

Good. I have no need for either of them to be here.

There are far more pressing matters at the moment to contend with.

[ And his tone becomes a little more serious, focused. ]

Those who have spoken on wishing to train others... I apologize for my lateness in this message, but I would like to arrange a formal meeting? Is that possible?

Cheriour
11 February 2012 @ 06:51 pm
[The feed opens onto a smile. A smile on the face of a being who usually smiles...but not like this. It's not a happy smile at all. In fact, it almost seems pitiful, as if Cheriour is thinking about something that is troubling that he can't exactly put into words. But then he pipes up, his voice cheerful as ever as he starts talking.]

You know, back home, me and my brethren used to sing with one another. Singing is viewed as a communal experience, much like the human tradition of getting together and telling stories! I was just thinking that I haven't sung for a while, and I'd like to share one with all of you! It feels so strange singing it by myself, after all, and really, I just need an audience.

If you don't want to listen, then don't! I don't mind. The songs of angels aren't your typical songs, after all. [A pause.] So, here goes.

[He clears his throat and opens his mouth, and a
strange sort of song comes out of him, sung in a language which is rarely spoken, if not sung. People who know Latin will realize that he is singing about something that is not exactly the happiest of topics, for he is singing about Judgement Day. The Second Coming. The day when all the sinners of the world will be judged and punished, while the innocent will be saved.]

[His voice is not bad at all, but one can imagine how better it would be to hear multiple people singing it at once. But Cheriour tries his best to carry the song, giving strength and emotion to every word as he goes through the song. How he wishes his brothers were here, how they would join together in song and share this experience together.]

[But this time, he is alone. And when he finishes the song, there's a brief flicker of deep sadness in his face. His brethren...they were probably dying back home, getting their hearts torn out by a faceless killer he did not yet know the identity of. There was nothing he could do about it. That was that.]

[And then its gone, and he just gives a nod, grinning like he always does.]

So! There we go! Don't know if any of you enjoyed it or not, but..anyways! Do any of you sing songs with others, I wonder? Or is that only an angel thing?

[A brisk nod, and then he switches on the filter, his grin getting slightly more serious.]
