[The feed opens onto a smile. A smile on the face of a being who usually smiles...but not like this. It's not a happy smile at all. In fact, it almost seems pitiful, as if Cheriour is thinking about something that is troubling that he can't exactly put into words. But then he pipes up, his voice cheerful as ever as he starts talking.]You know, back home, me and my brethren used to sing with one another. Singing is viewed as a communal experience, much like the human tradition of getting together and telling stories! I was just thinking that I haven't sung for a while, and I'd like to share one with all of you! It feels so strange singing it by myself, after all, and really, I just need an audience.
If you don't want to listen, then don't! I don't mind. The songs of angels aren't your typical songs, after all.
[A pause.] So, here goes.
[He clears his throat and opens his mouth, and a strange sort of song comes out of him, sung in a language which is rarely spoken, if not sung. People who know Latin will realize that he is singing about something that is not exactly the happiest of topics, for he is singing about Judgement Day. The Second Coming. The day when all the sinners of the world will be judged and punished, while the innocent will be saved.]
[His voice is not bad at all, but one can imagine how better it would be to hear multiple people singing it at once. But Cheriour tries his best to carry the song, giving strength and emotion to every word as he goes through the song. How he wishes his brothers were here, how they would join together in song and share this experience together.]
[But this time, he is alone. And when he finishes the song, there's a brief flicker of deep sadness in his face. His brethren...they were probably dying back home, getting their hearts torn out by a faceless killer he did not yet know the identity of. There was nothing he could do about it. That was that.][And then its gone, and he just gives a nod, grinning like he always does.]So! There we go! Don't know if any of you enjoyed it or not, but..anyways! Do any of you sing songs with others, I wonder? Or is that only an angel thing?
[A brisk nod, and then he switches on the filter, his grin getting slightly more serious.]
