[ Much like Arthur before her, Mithian sits, holding her crown in her hands, fingers tracing along the textured gold. She looks as though she's trying to make some sort of decision. After a moment, she lets out a sigh before turning to the camera.]

There are many of us from different worlds and here, we are one and the same, titles and names hardly matter in a place such as this, in a battle like this one. I ask, what is the point of holding on a symbol of something that holds little value here? Priorities have changed and what was important is no longer as important as survival, as helping others to survive, and win this war so that we may all go home.

[ She pauses for another moment before she sets the crown aside, fingers lingering for a moment.] I wonder if anyone could tell me where the nearest market is. [ Because she's going to sell that crown. Yep.]

[ It seems France's bracelet has begun recording without his knowledge. He's dressed in this fashionable (?) nightgown, sitting up in bed with an unsettled look on his face. ]

-- Quoi? The other nations were all sent back home?

...Hmph. It's not like Big Brother France needs their help, anyway!

I can help Asgard and get back home on my own! Even if that man's sacrifice was rather worrisome...

[ it seems he's finally realizing just what he's gotten into. ]

And -- it's not like it's lonely without the other nations, anyhow!

[ he crosses his arms with another "hmph", obviously denying that he's just fooling himself. ]

[ and for anyone who didn't know he was a Nation, well, now you know? ]

Okay, I swear I will stop talking on the bracelets all the time after this, but it's started to get cold outside-- how does Asgard feel about assumed birthdays? I mean, clearly we don't go by the Gregorian calendar here- and I don't at home anymore, either, we just sort of stick to it out of habit- but it's starting to sort of feel like winter at home, right?

Because my birthday is December first! And I've never got to have a cold December birthday, I grew up on an island, and sand angels never really worked as well as snow angels are supposed to.

[ She's grinning wide, clearly thrilled. ]

Draco got me a puppy.

[ And then, a few moments later, tagged on: ]

If anyone wants to stop in the Highwind restaurant in Heimdall today, I'll buy you a pastry! They're some of our specialties, my treat!

[ Anyone who shows up there... will find her! ]

[ Regina appears with a smile and a wave as per usual. She was a little shaken up by the battle, but she'll get to that later - for now, there's more pressing issues to attend to. ]

Hey Asgard! What's up? I guess things haven't been so good lately. Let's tidy this place up so Mr Freyr will be proud of us, wherever he is. [ She pauses. She's already getting sad! This can't happen. Better get to the real meat of her broadcast quickly. ]

Anyways, it's kind of a bummer that we're not going home, but at the same time I'll be able to talk to you all for a bit longer! You're my friends, after all! But I was wondering why my friends from home haven't shown up yet. I don't want them to get hurt, but I'd like to introduce them to you all! So next time a bunch of people arrive, I want you to look extra-specially-hard for these guys:

[ And here it comes - Regina winks and shoves a few crudely-drawn sketches right in the camera. No-one can escape them now. ]

ooc cut for artistic genius )

Okay, that's all for now! Except for one thing. Oops, I forgot. [ She giggles, but (oddly) soon shuts up. ]

What happens after you die? I want to know, once and for all.

And there it is. The bitter wind that chills the very soul of this land. I admit, when I first arrived here I did not know if I should expect winter to come, but indeed it is here. I wonder if it will be anything like the winters back home? Of course, we'll all have our different experiences in winter, I'm sure.

I think it's only fair that I start getting to know a few people here better, perhaps an easy, foretelling question. Which of the seasons do you like best?

So, if I may inquire. How many of you would be interested in having a little Secret Santa going on? Or just a secret gift giving, if you're not familiar with the robust, jovial fellow in the red ensemble. I can organize it, I rather like these sort of endeavours.

All you would really need to do is drop a present off at my apartment. Odin 101. Make sure there's a note on it saying who it's for and where it needs to be delivered.
I'm no fortune teller: I can't just guess where the recipient lives.
A couple of weeks from now I'll deliver the presents myself. If there are a lot, I might need a hand, but we'll see.

Happy Holidays.

[ when the feed clicks on, the video is obscured for the most part — deliberately, one might assume. whilst there are noises in the background, they aren't particularly discernible, nor are they overly unusual. the relative silence, however, is interrupted briefly by the sound of movement — the rustling of clothes, and the quiet clink of metal — and the video becomes a touch clearer — sky, then, and brickwork. nothing that would immediately give away the filmer's location.

if he could, he'd remark on several things, primarily out of curiosity and a desire to see just what the response would be, but whilst he's known for his way with words, written word lacks the precise manner spoken word has. the influence. the impact. the subtleties. but—

truth be told, loki has no great desire to broadcast his relative lack of freedom, but it is something that needs to be addressed and, he thinks, it could work in his favour if addressed appropriately. he's merely appreciative of the fact that whilst his hands and wrists have been restrained, he has movement and that he's not completely helpless — or even, he thinks, half as helpless as had been intended when they, the so-called heroes and avengers of midgard, had shackled him.

the view shifts slightly again, this time revealing black and green and gold — clothing — before being leant over; his eyebrows quirk upwards, although his gaze shifts away from the phone after a moment. the resulting expression is perhaps surprisingly placid in appearance, although one might (ought to) assume that there's a reason his mouth is covered.

after several moments of what appears to be consideration, he shrugs — the movement is light, dismissive, and followed by something resembling entertainment flashing across his visible features before his fingers once again obscure the camera, and the feed cuts out. ]

Hey, Scott here. I have an announcement to make.

I've opened up my own store. It's in Freya district. It's called Allison's Pet Store. [ Allison is the name of his girlfriend... Seriously, he actually named it that. ] I know people can feel lonely here, especially if you're missing people back home... [ There's a brief look of sadness in his eyes when he says this, but he quickly puts on a happy face. ] Animals can make good companions.

I'm going to need some help at the store with cleaning, feeding and giving the animals exercise, stuff like that. If you're looking for work and you're an animal lover, let me know.

[ Scott feels the need to clarify something... ] Animal lover in a non-beastiality way.
