katniss everdeen.
[ Katniss looks like she hasn't slept in ages. She's been fighting, she's been injured, though minor... But what fuels her now is fury, and pain, and anguish... A fire boils in her blood and her voice is just as angry as the scowl on her face. Her eyes bore into the audience on the other side; maybe you can even feel the heat. ]

What did you do to him? Where is he?!

[ The anger, the rage, is all-consuming. No sooner did this stupid war start than did Peeta disappear. Gone. She can't find him anywhere, and she's waited to see if he died and has come back, but there's nothing. Every bone in her body, every instinct, tells her that he's left. Gone home. ]

Why did you send him now? What happened to Peeta? Tell me!

[ Whether she is addressing the Gods themselves, the city, or their enemies, it is unclear - but what is clear is that she's slowly fracturing, coming apart at the seams. They'd gotten closer here than they ever could have at home; they had something to fight for, something to protect, they were more or less happy. They had a little family, the five of them from Panem. They helped each other forget the horrors of home, and helped each other build a life here. But now one of them is gone, and things seem worse than ever. ]
