( filtered away from itsuki so hard.. except not much at all since she isn't great with filters but if willpower could be a filter this would be fort knox, pretty much. )

.. Look, this is probably going to sound really weird to suddenly ask this after everything that happened, but.. I need serious opinions here, okay?! No trying to be funny!

[ She takes a deep breath - honestly, saying any of this is already difficult enough, but she doesn't have anyone specific to ask about this.. the woes of being friends with guys and moe girls all over, not to mention everyone she knows from back home is gone too by now - even Nanase's bracelet can't be reached anymore. So the network is the last option left.. ]

So.. the situation is-- no, let's start over! What I just want to ask is.. what do you do when someone confesses to you? You know, confessing in the.. the romantic kind of way! [ sputtering. ] I already know the answer is accepting or rejecting it, but what if you don't know which one you should pick?!

[ aka 'how do i deal with my own tsun 101', apparently.. ]

There's something I've been thinking about for a while now. I want to build an airship. I've been here a few months now, and it feels strange being stuck on one island for so long, especially an island as big as this one.

So, I was wondering if anyone had experience with building ships? Or just mechanics in general, and would know how to make some of the parts? I'm sure there are schematics in the library, though Vyse and Enrique would know that better than me. The main thing I'm worried about is what sort of fuel it would run on, since there don't seem to be any moonstones in Asgard.

Oh, right! Aoto said that the airships in his world were probably very different to the ones I'm thinking of, so I drew a picture of one!

OOC cut for crappy artwork )

If you help out, we might make you part of our crew! Vyse is the captain, before anyone tries to claim that one.

[ hi asgard! look who it is!

mako, baby, you look tired. (worry does that, and just when you think it's all over, there's something new to worry about.)

he's not looking at the camera at first, just giving the ground a stare, gold eyes cold and angry.

he shuts his eyes and pinches at the bridge of his nose — there's a fading, week old bruise following the plane of bone off his wrist, and his coat (different from anything he's ever worn here in asgard!) hangs off in such a way that you can tell the fabric is near-threadbare. and where'd you get the scarf, bro? it's pretty cheap-ass looking, maybe you should buy a new one...

deep breath; not a sigh of resignation, just. acceptance? and maybe a touch of annoyance. he drops his hand, and looks up at the camera. ]

Hey, Asami, [ GUESS WHO LOOKED AT THE NAME LIST AND FOUND OUT KORRA AND BOLIN AREN'T THERE ] Are you still in Freya?

[ wow mako maybe you should say hi to all your other friends. rude boy. he pauses for a moment, and continues. the way it's said, you can... SORT OF TELL HE'S ADDRESSING THE GENERAL PUBLIC THO ]

How long's it's been since the stuff with the shadows?

[ oop, there we go.

kinda.

MAKO YOU'RE SO RUDE, HONEY. ]

[ On video is the pink haired Secret Service agent, standing in a kitchen, dressed in maid's costume, with a white apron on. The maid costume of course comes from her Master, who always has her dressed in the strangest things.

In front of her is a counter top overflowing with different ingredients. Vegetables, meats, breads, spices, pastas, and more, as if she were cooking for a large party. But the face on the girl looks unhappy, as she looks at her mountains of ingredients. ]

...I don't know what I should make.

[ Her voice is quiet and spacey, like she's hardly even awake. Even her eyes look like she's near minutes of falling asleep. That's just how she is, and even though her looks say one thing, inside, she's extremely worried about making the right thing. ]

...My... [ How to refer to Miketsukami... ] ..friend died, and I want to make something that will cheer up Chiyo-chan and Miketsukami.

Does anyone have any ideas?

It has not yet been a full seven days since the start of the Illness that blighted so many citizens of Asgard, Travellers and Natives alike. The gentle rays of the waning autumn sun that shine through my study window this mellow evening, shine on many who bear the marks of the Illness still and many more who bear the invisible scars of grief. Yet, many more walk these sad streets who would not be with us if it were not for the efforts of many of our number and it is to honour those brave spirits as well as remember those we lost, that I narrate this sad tale.

For those too young or too tender-hearted to bear this account, I beg you click not on this "cut-text". It is not my wish to cause more pain with this remembrance, and I shall spare no details in my narration. No; it is the author's sincere wish that his narrative serve not only as tribute but as a call to arms, even a starting point for further discussion on the preparation of this city for the difficulties that lie ahead.

The Case of the Dragon-bourne Illness; A Narrative by John Watson. )

It is not unlikely that we will find ourselves in need of the services of volunteers again. I've been offering internships at my clinic to those wishing to further their existing medical knowledge or to learn how to combine their healing power with existing medical practices. However, in light of recent sad events, I have made up my mind to offer a first-aid training to all who desire it, as often as demand allows. If you are interested in taking part in these classes, please leave your name below.

I remain your humble servant,
John Watson (M.D)

[The feed opens up with a thud, the thud of someone's fist hitting the wall. And that would be what causes the bracelet activating at the same time.]

...you gotta be -- there's no way... [Some more, louder thuds as said someone goes into an unattractive temper tantrum.]
I'll never-- I--

[Another thud and the bracelet deactivates without her having ever known it was on. But just a short while later, Yukari does intentionally make a video post. Because for some reason she feels it's chickening out on a text post. Her expression is cautious, neutral.]

...H-Hey. I know there's always a few of these messages, but... [y'all can suck it up] Minato-kun's gone... again, I guess. [She takes a breath, carefully concealing a catch in her throat.]

I... don't need to hear anyone feel sorry for me, okay? [Wait, why did she even say that? She regrets it immediately; nothing good can come of it. She either looks like a defensive idiot or alienates her friends, and either way looks totally self-obsessed, because obviously not everyone knows that they're -- Whatever. She's just rambling now... better get off this quickly.] I mean... Sorry, it's not that I wouldn't--ya know--appreciate that, but... [She waves a hand.] Just--Just don't want to hear that again. That's it.

[Ooookay. Still kind of a disaster. But that's as good as she can probably do right now, right?

She cuts the feed and then leaves Freya House to go wander the district and make her way gradually around, through Sigyn and back, just walking to cool off.]
