It had been some time since the last attack. The question seems to be whether this one was another declaration of war from a different kingdom, or an act of the gods themselves. It also calls into questions the claims of incompatibilities regarding supernatural powers from other worlds in this one, as this seems to have been something from a traveler's world in specific.

However, that is not of immediate import. There are likely several still injured from the attacks, and the hospital staff is greatly overworked. Any with healing or damage drain abilities should consider volunteering to assist for the time being.
