[As soon as the video turns on, a girl around the age of fifteen is glaring into the hologram. Effy isn't panicking, but she refuses to be upset at the moment. ]

I get that I'm here and can't leave. I have the basics, but I'd like to know everything. 

[A slight pause, she looks exasperated.] 

I'll be at the Great Library later, if anyone'd like to meet me there instead. 

[The video ends with that.]

[The video at first shows a strange face way too close to the camera, but realizing that it's on, she backs up! Not that it helps, because she's still rather odd looking and she has a weird hat. And yes, that outfit is just as skimpy as it looks. But looking excited at first, her expression falls slightly so that she looks a bit sheepish.]

...Well! Um, this certainly isn't Papathea, but this isn't really what I had in mind when I asked for a vacation! I mean, when I asked God, if I could have a day off, he got kind of mad not like that's unusual but I didn't think I'd get... I don't know, banished to a distant planet or something! That's what this is supposed to be, right? Oh, or it's a hologram simulation!

[She clasps her hands together like she's praying, smiling sheepishly at the camera]

If that's the case, I'm super sorry, God! Maybe the suggestion box was a little much, even if you should learn to take criticism a bit better! Oh, wait, you'll still be mad if I say something like that. Oops...

[She smooshes her face a little in worry, but she immediately brightens, looking like she just remembered something]

Oh, I'm getting distracted! Just in case this goes to someone other than God, hi there! My name is Noa! I'm a Sky Doll! "It's not a real doll if it's not a Sky Doll," you know? But I'm definitely ready to help bring color back to the city, like the letter said! Um, even if some places seems kind of colorful already! I guess you were all working hard!

Crap, I'm definitely blabbering now! Well, whatever, even if this is just a simulation, I'll do my best!!

[ the girl in the video lets out a sigh of relief after a moment. it’s like she had been holding her breath, waiting for it to work, without even realizing it. ]

Jeez, it’s a hassle, isn’t it? You’d think these, um… Gods, right? You’d think they would want things to be a little easier to use!

[ she totally is might be biased since she’s used to things being bigger and maybe a little simpler (or more out-dated) than this, though. regardless, her tone is more or less friendly, even if her words are on the scolding side. ]

… to be honest, though, I still don’t think I really get what’s going on. There’s a lot of other people around here though, right? So I guess it won’t be all bad! The only thing I’m worried about is…

[ she moves out of the view of the bracelet, which is apparently sitting on something, and when she can be seen again, she’s holding a Poké Ball. ]

I had six of these before I got here. Now I only have one! Is this kind of thing normal here?

[ she goes off-screen yet again, putting the Poké Ball wherever she was keeping it before. ]

Um, anyway, I guess I should introduce myself, huh? My name’s Dawn. I’m in Sigyn [ which she, for the record, totally butchers pronounciation-wise ] and I’d really like to get to know you guys, so feel free to say hi if you ever see me around, okay?

I have a question, if you do not mind answering, everyone.

[There's a long pause, where Kadar considers both the question and his own answer for a moment.]

Are you happy here?

[A boy stares neutrally into the video feed. He is slightly short for his age, with longish brown hair and serious grey eyes that seem slightly too old for his face. In appearance there is absolutely nothing to suggest that there is anything at all remarkable about him. Yet there is something slightly odd about his reaction. He doesn't seem the slightest bit upset or confused. If he is at all discomfited by his sudden relocation to this strange world and the loss of his powers it does not appear on his face. A pause just slightly too long, and he begins speaking in a pleasant voice.]

Ah, hullo? Is this thing on? Quite a strange little device. The sort of thing my brothers would enjoy taking apart, I should think.

[Will blinks, and smiles a little foolishly.]

But then I’m getting off topic. I've only just arrived here, you see. And I thought it would be terribly rude if I didn't introduce myself. My name is Will Stanton. Are there many people here?

Also, I am looking for a boy. About my age, with white hair and dark glasses. His name is Bran Davies. [There is some strange stress on the name, as if to say that Bran Davies was a very special thing to be indeed.] I rather expect he would have made a point of finding a way to stand out, here.
