THE BESTEST OF FRIENDS etc--and that's because after a little encouragement from Freya he decided to sort of try out his powers. Unfortunately he's reached Level Two without ever having used them once so the effect was a bit more powerful than he anticipated.

[ This time when Battler shows up on video, he's in the library, several books are laid out before him. Nedless to say, he's been doing his research. ]

Heh.... Even I have to admit that the Gods have put together a pretty impressive game. .... Normally, in a mystery, the motive isn't confessed so early on, but that might not be the case. This entire world isn't like any ordinary crime in the first place, is it?

[ He stands, beginning to pace around. Even as a witch, he wants to try to solve whatever riddle this place might have. So, Asgard gets to hear the full fruit of his efforts. ]

So, I've tried to take another stragety in trying to solve this Game completely then the one I've had since I woke up from Rokkenjima! The only way that the Gods could have snuck each and every person here is by using drugs to bring others here. So, they must have snuck drugs into their victim's food and brought them all here by boat! As for the location... This has to be a small island somewhere!

Sorry, but even if I understand that there might be a heavy motive to this game... I still have my own promises to keep.

How's that? Even if as the Endless Sorcerer, I can still be one of the detectives on this board! Because of that, I'll uncover this place completely!!

[ the feed clicks on, and it seems to be at a relatively convenient angle on a desk - a slightly angled shot of Kanaya can be seen straight ahead. she seems to have long scrolls of paper draped against the walls of her room with measurements pencilled in on the sides. around the room itself is an array of strange-looking pieces of clothing, a mannequin, fabric and even some accessories. someone's been testing her powers.

if you look close enough, she seems to be drawing a dress on the paper. she stands back and gives it a look, trying to look at the drawing objectively and adding something in. after a few repeats of this, she sighs contently and tucks her pencil behind her ear. ]

Perfect. Now, let's see if this works...

[ she stands close to the drawing and runs her hand over it. as she drags it down, the paper seems to be falling off the wall and changing material. once she's come to the end, she takes the new creation in her arms and fits it over the mannequin. what's there is clearly no longer a paper drawing, but a real knee-high dress.

...did she just do a little happy jump? yes, she did. ] 

[ good morning, asgard. aren't we looking lovely this fine day? today, claudia greets the network, looking a little thoughtful, and tapping a ballpoint pen against a table. the ink is pink. no, she hasn't used this one the most! gosh. (except for how she totally has.) there are more pens on the table, too: black, blue, green, red. one of those might be purple... someone sure raided an officemax. ]

Do you think, when we leave, the gods will allow us to take some things home with us? I know I have joked about the television and microwave, but the pens they have — so much more convenient! I don't have to dip. And the ink doesn't bleed or smudge!

I was wondering if anyone here has experienced being in the body of another person. Something like suddenly finding yourself in a different body without any warning. [....] After arriving in this place, I mean.

[Though he’s speaking in what is unmistakably Shu’s voice, it’s just a touch higher and definitely more gentle than it normally would be. In fact, it kind of resembles someone else’s voice rather than Shu’s own.

And with a sheepish smile uncharacteristic of Shu, he’ll hold a chubby pig up to the screen, revealing their backdrop of the library in the process. And peeking out from behind the piggy:]

Is there a cure? Any information on a reversal would be helpful. Unfortunate things have happened to other people here, so I wondered if someone might know how long this will last. It should be only temporary, but it would be best if we tried to reverse it as soon as possible.

((ooc: Shion is in Shu’s body, and Shu is in the body of a cute pig! Basically, Nami and I are horrible and decided to make a seiyuu joke.... Shu, Shion, and the piggy all share the same voice actor, so we ran with it! Shion’s replies will come from voidist (those smiling icons) while Shu’s will come from pigfaced!

Also, the post will be under Shion’s name, but if your character is the type to look over that sort of thing or would assume that Shu is using the wrong bracelet, feel free to mistake him for Shu acting really weirdly? Especially considering that he didn’t say his name.... or that Shu is the pig.))
