Mmmhmm! It looks like we've got a bunch of new people coming in! Never fear, 'cause Mami from 765 Pro is here to give a big warm welcome! If you have any questions, feel free to ask her! 'Cause she knows a lot of things about this place, like where you want to go to avoid the lunch rush and where to find the best video games!

[Like always, it's just a shiny video from Mami. She's all smiles! She has a bandage visible on her arm from where the faeries attacked, but it's mostly healed, anyways. But there's something just a little bit off. It makes more sense when she delivers her second message.

When she starts, she lowers her head a little and her smile fades. It's as if she's lost in thought.]

This is a special request, though, for everyone. If you see someone with Mami's face, it's definitely Ami Futami! So if you see her, tell her to come to House Loki right away, because that's what house she'll be in. Or tell Mami right away so she can come find her! Thank you.

akari mizunashi. ( 水無 灯里 )
08 March 2012 @ 03:04 pm
Good day, Asgard! How are you doing? [Wait no Akari stop this isn't your computer you're on you can't talk like how you'd write an email!!] This might be a strange question, but I was wondering about the various businesses and such that people have here. I've noticed that people here have started up their own businesses and shops, so...

[She nods to herself. YEAH, THIS'LL BE FUN!!] If possible, I'd like to ask what sorts of businesses people have running. What you do there, what times it's open, where it is, and things like that. Alternatively, if you're thinking of starting a business but haven't done so yet, I'd really like it if you could tell me a bit about it.

Thank you for your time, everyone.

[And for the rest of the day, Akari can be seen quite literally anywhere! She's going all around the city looking for any kind of business or shop, from various cafes to possibly even your own place. For places that sell food or some other good, Akari is taking a look at the things being sold while jotting down some notes in a small notebook before finally purchasing something for herself. For other kinds of places, she may be trying to get a worker's attention with something like "Um, excuse me!"

If you happen to catch her outside of a store, Akari is once again jotting notes in her notebook, flipping over pages and reviewing what she's written. She seems a bit tired from having walked around for so long, but that smile on her face is that of someone who's completely satisfied with what they've done.]

[The feed turns on, showing two bright, soft green eyes a little too close to the camera before pulling back. A welcoming smile follows after a few adjustments to the device.]

I think this is how it works -- ah, yes. Hello, I'm sure this broadcasts to everyone here. My name is Patrick Jane, and I'm a consultant for the California Bureau of Investigation.

[He doesn't sound as stressed as he should, and he gives a short nod after his introduction.]

Are there any good tea shops?

[The feed cuts after his question, perhaps by accident. He didn't get the chance to tell everyone how absurd this was. None of it was possible, and in his eyes, wasn't even real.]

Francis "Good but Questionable" Bonnefoy
08 March 2012 @ 05:05 pm
[Greetings, Asgard! Your bonafide Bonnefoy seems to be well and situated in Freya by now, which is a good thing. His greeting, however, is mildly er, nonexistent and he sounds almost up to his eyeballs in unsures.]

I have ah-- [he pauses, looking at something off-screen rather critically; those fine features and MANLY STUBBLE crinkling in distaste as if he just imagined his mother naked and frolicking with Rome... Which he'd had the misfortune of seeing once, actually--] Now, mes amis! I am not a judgmental man. [He just lies like a rug]

Mais-- Well, I could not help but notice the overwhelming amount of English that have been brought as fellow Traveler to Asgard.

[The hidden, or not so hidden message is I am DROWNING in the ENGLISH. Send help. ]

I am just wondering if there is a reason for this favoritism, hm? Why not say-- the French? If they wanted their city to be colorful again my culture is much more familiar with the expression. No offense, hm? Consider it a case of being homesick...

[He smiles, disarmingly, perhaps, fumbling with his pack of cigarettes before flicking the transmission off. WAY TO LITERALLY OFFEND HALF OF ASGARD, FRANCIS.]

Kyouya Ootori [ 鳳 鏡夜 ]
08 March 2012 @ 06:17 pm
[the man that comes on screen is well dressed, well groomed, and has a pleasant smile on his face that matches the tone of his voice.]

Hello, Asgard. My name is Kyouya Ootori, and it appears that I will be joining you for the forseeable future. [he offers a bow to the feed that comes out a bit awkward, given the angle of the feed.]

I will be pleased to meet you all.

[and then: the turn around, where his voice takes on an extra tone while he pushes up his glasses. there's less charm and more seriousness in his voice now.]

If you could tell me-- has anyone returned home, once they arrive in this place, and what has been done as far as the preservation of this world? How long has everyone been here? I would more than appreciate any information on the subject.

[he flashes another charming smile at the feed before his next question-- which comes out a bit more exasperated than everything else, almost as if he's resigning himself to an inevitability.]

Additionally, is there anyone here from Ouran High School?

Thank you in advance. [and he'll offer another of his slight bows and that's that.]

Celebrating my birthday in a colorless world is one thing I never thought I would do.

Most of you probably met my brother Arthur by now, he's hard to miss. Allow me to tell you, he is dreadful when it comes to gift-giving. When I was twelve, my gift was a pocketful of stolen cakes from the kitchen which got me punished for smuggling them into my chambers. Since then I got one odd gift a year, one of them being a prank he pulled on my fourteen birthday that included ruining my hair by throwing pieces of food at it in the middle of my party.

[ maybe her tone is more affectionate than annoyed. ]

Then there were years of farm animals, a pillow and let us not forget the year he passed me the most awkward love letter from one of his squires as a gift.

But this year I was honestly surprised to receive a gift I dare say I like. So in that note, thank you Arthur and Sir Leon for the lovely jewelry and a special thank you to Merlin since I have no doubt you're the one who chose them.

Shu Ouma ☩ 桜満集
08 March 2012 @ 10:05 pm
Everyone---[Oh no. Not this public speaking thing again. Shu's nervous. He hopes he doesn't make a fool out of himself in front of all these people.] I'd like to know something.

I thought that maybe someone here might know the answer. Is it, normal to meet someone from your own world but....they don't have the same memories as you?

Inori.

Inori remembers something different. She says I protected the school with Ayase, but it doesn't make sense. I don't think she's lying either, so. She wouldn't do something ...like that.

[At least he thinks so. Segai's words manage to bestow a sense of insecurity on him.

Beware of those who tell you to believe in yourself, Shu. Inori might very well wish to use you and removing anyone who might take away that control through this manipulation.

Is it really alright to believe in her and the Funeral Parlor? He doubts them for a minute.]

[Pause.]

For those of you who just arrived, I guess.

Please, be careful. I don't want to see any of you get hurt here. There's a hospital in the Sigyn district and... [Wait, he's in no position to be telling them what to do. Stop right there, Shu.]

That's about it.

[What on earth did he just say to everyone?]
