It's also advised that the residents of Hel should... probably watch their footing, lest they want to end up sprawling into the floor. But she isn't going to say that. Perhaps she'll get a show out of it.]

He looked back up, standing near the doorway of the laundry room. Carefully, he made his way to it, peering in, and--

Hey! [ He called out to the girl sitting on top of the machine, running into the room. That was a mistake. There was a slip, a fall, and had he not caught himself with his hand and flipped his body over, there would have been quite a crash. He landed back on his two feet, careful not to move. ]

My dear, that is not a maid, it is simply a machine that servants use to perform their duties.

[A month here, and Hiccup's still been washing all his clothes by hand. But that doesn't mean he can't tell something isn't right with this picture.]
