[It takes an odd amount of time for Erik to respond to the message. Not for lack of want - his interest is piqued the moment he sees it, the moment he hears and understands and realizes what this is. It's not so much dangerous water as that he needs to be careful.

Mutant ability. That was his phrase, his wording. Erik's eyes light up with something unique, something he hasn't really thought about in quite some time. It hasn't really had much say here in Asgard, his plans for home, his goal, his dream. He doesn't know who this boy is, but he's drawn to him nonetheless.

Alright, I'm just gonna run through all of the things you got wrong.

First of all, not a human. You'd think the pyrokinesis would give it away, or the fact that I said I was a mutant.

Secondly, humans don't all share a psychic bond across worlds. Even if I was one, how would I have "learned" something like that about this place the second I got here? Put up road signs or something, "Don't Ask About Abilities, It's Getting Boring," then maybe you'll have a case.

And thirdly, and most importantly, giving up on something just because it hasn't been possible in the past is crap and I don't give a shit if the demands are getting boring. Don't tell me not to fight for what I am just because other people have failed. That's not how I work.
