Oh, I think some thought went into it. At least, they picked enough people who are ready to give up and sit on their asses once they're told something's impossible. They're handy for a dictatorship.

Going home, getting abilities back, everything. All I keep hearing is "The gods say it's not possible, so it's not possible." I'm not exactly gonna have all the answers on my first day here, but I'm not swallowing that, either.

I do know people who have said they've been here, left, and come back. And some who have left for good. So it's clearly possible.

Then again, some people are staying with hopes that we'll get a reward at the end. Dunno if I'd bank on it, but it's a goal at least.
