[That's a very ill-tempered expression this new arrival is wearing. He's got a zippo lighter in one hand, and he glares down at the dancing flame for a moment before looking back up at the camera.]

You know what's bullshit, Asgard?

[He holds his hand over the flame just long enough to leave an ugly welt, then shows his palm to the camera; although the process is slow, the blistered red skin is visibly starting to heal.]

This, right here, is bullshit. I'm not Logan. Who the hell would want to be Logan. My name is Pyro, because I manipulate fire. I don't care who these "gods" are, or what they want, or why they did it - you don't mess with a mutant's ability. Give me back what's rightfully mine, what I was born with, and maybe there won't be any trouble.

[Totally unaware that he's just made the least original first post ever, he ends his side of the feed and waits for responses.]

[A smirk.] Apparently, though I am always happy to go back to insults, if you want.

Oh, I've talked to her. Though she's a bit more pessimistic about being what she is. Me, I'm happy the way I am. The more I'm unlike human beings, the better.

Sounds like we have a common enemy. Insulting one another would be a waste of energy, don't you think?

[somebody around here actually hates humans as much as he does THANK THE GODS oh well wait, no, never mind that, the gods can go jump off a cliff.]

It would, huh...so, what are you, if not human?

A mutant. Humanity's worst enemy back home, judging by the news. But they have yet to see just how much we're capable of. [His eyes blaze with both pride and fury, a cold smile twisting his lips.]

And how about you?

Mutant, huh? Back home, mutants are usually those lab rats that have like three eyes and stuff when exposed to radioactive waste...I know you're definitely not that, so mind illuminating me what's the difference between them and you? Besides the whole "worse enemy" thing.

[A slight chuckle.] Whole different species, kiddo. I may look human, but my insides and life cycle are completely different. They call us "Moths" back home, but we're not anything like those butterfly knock-offs that populate attics and stuff. We're our own thing.

The X-Gene. We've just evolved past them. But they're taking some time to realize that they're obsolete, and they've got a temper about it.

A "moth"? But not a moth. Okay, your turn.

[He lets out a laugh.] Sounds like them, alright. The minute they think something is better than them, they want to get rid of it.

Yep. Like I said, we have a different life cycle,- we hatch from eggs and later metamorphosize into the more human-looking things we are now.

They've spent too long on top of the food chain, that's their problem. Fat and lazy. It's about time someone shook things up for them.

[He leans forward a little, curious.] How many of you are there? Enough to put a dent in their armour?

Oh, definitely, I'm with you there.

[A slight frown.] There's a lot of us, actually, but...around half of us side with the humans. Which is just asking for an idiotic end, if you ask me. I mean, those who think otherwise, like me, we're not too shabby when it comes to amount, but humans have the advantage of being absolutely insane when they get into mobs.

But that doesn't mean we can't try, you know.

Whoa, touchy. No need to get defensive. We've got our idiots, too - the ones who want to want to talk it out with the humans, come to some kind of agreement. As if they'll ever listen.

It doesn't mean you stop fighting. It means you fight harder. And if your own kind get in your way, you do what has to be done. [A challenging, rather unhinged look.] Right?

Hey, sorry, just remembering what they've done is just pretty stupid, because humans will only see them as means to an end. They won't see them as friends. Which is why I agree with you on the whole "let's talk it out" thing. It never works.

[There's a pause, and then he grins widely, though it isn't a very nice one. It's one thing to have your own kind betray you to work for the side you hate, but it's quite another if they actually aim to do that and try to actively kill you at the same time.]

[Unloyal subjects get what they deserve, in Nick's opinion.]

Right. They made their choice, let them see the consequences of that. No time to sit back and wonder what moral choice you have when the whole world is dogging at your heels.

[All of a sudden, Pyro looks relaxed, almost comfortable. It's like this guy is reading from a manual personally written by himself about being non-human and how to deal with it. He's mouthy, but he's almost as good as a fellow mutant.]

We could use a lot more like you in our ranks. Way too much so-called "morality" flying around right now, when the people who are after us clearly don't give a shit about it. They all need a taste of their own medicine.

Haha, what most people don't realize is that they always need someone like me. Someone who can say the brutal truth and not care about everyone else being too "worried" or "concerned" about it.

And yes, hit them with their own weapons, so to speak- if they don't care about what they do, why should I?
