[Welcome to Jon's face. It's not a particularly happy face. In fact, it looks pretty sour at the moment. He really hates having to use the bracelet, but he has a very important announcement to make.]

This is a message to the gods that have stolen us and brought us here.

[He has no actual knowledge of who the gods are or if they even care about their charges, but as they seem to have more of a hand in the affairs of others than his own gods, he'll see if a direct approach works.]

During the... incident which had your blasted magic working ill against those you gave it to, my brother wound up losing his hand. Due to your ineptitude and this unwanted sorcery, he has a stump where a perfectly fine hand was before. What sort of gods give people powers they don't ask for? It's bad enough you've brought children here, but you seem not to care about the ill effects of your war on those that are hale enough here to fight it.

[The sour look is directed more intensely at the screen now.]

I insist you fix it. I've gone to your temples and asked for this, but as it's seemed to fall on deaf ears, perhaps you need it shouted in your face.

Fix my brother or you'll have me to deal with and Asgard's gods will join him in missing body parts.

[Ghost perked up and moved to the door. Jon didn't get up to answer it.]

If they can erase death, they can give my brother back his hand. They've taken us from our world and dumped us here with no regard for our wishes, they can keep their charges whole.

I would have thought that you, of all men would know better than to ask so-called "Gods" for anything, Jon Snow.

[ For, they hardly listen in Westeros (and if they do, they work their "magic" through mortal vessels), why should they listen here? ]

I'm not asking. I'm insisting. It's their bloody powers that did this to him in the first place. They can fix their mistake.

[The gods in Westeros were more figureheads than the ones he'd been told mingled with people here. He'd likely piss himself if any of their gods showed their face to them, but these gods... these weren't gods. They were something, but they didn't provoke the same fear and respect in him that the seven or the old gods would.]

Bringing the dead back to life is within the amount of power the gods are willing to extend to us, replacing limbs is somehow too much. [ As far as she can tell. None of the healers in Sigyn seem able to.

[There are apparently worlds of things he doesn't know. How to make things private or direct to only one person seems to be one of those things.]

You realize that makes little to no sense. Bringing someone back from the dead can be done with a flick of the fingers, but replacing a hand that was taken away by their own powers is beyond them? Forgive me, my lady, it's not you I'm mocking. I just don't believe they have so little control.

I've heard of the death of a god, something that leads me to believe they are not true gods, if they can die so easily. If they cannot protect themselves, they shouldn't be bringing others here as well.

There is a healing goddess, or so I've been told. She should do her duty and heal those that are lamed or broken because of this place.

[But what he wouldn't give to have her be able to heal Bran as well.]

I mean to give them a chance to right what they've done. They seem to be capable of dying. A sword through the gut might well be incentive enough to do what's right.

Normally Cynthia would find herself hesitating to help them, given that they're not nearly on the same healing level as her own kind, she considers it carefully after listening. The most critical thing with missing limbs is infection. When she speaks, it may come as a surprise.]

A stump is quite painful; I was fortunate enough to grow my own limbs back prior before coming here. But has your brother received proper care to tend to his wound? He'll get worse if he hasn't already.

I believe he has. He hasn't mentioned any pain and I've kept an eye on him.

[Not that Robb would have mentioned losing his hand at all if Jon hadn't found out himself. Stubborn Stark.]

I've seen no signs of fever.

[He was going to just... not mention that whole limb regrowing thing, because he had no idea what to do with it.]

It is not your worry, Sansa. I'll do what I can to make him whole again. He's still our brother, still obstinate and thick headed.

I think it's worth a try, Lady Stark. He's crippled now through no fault of his own and if they can fix it, I'll have them do so.

Rarely do gods ever give us what we ask for, my friend. Want is rarely a matter of consideration.

[The frown and sigh that follow are, at least, sympathetic, but there is little else he can truly offer.]

And yet, you would think they might be more pliant considering this war is not ours. [Of course that's rarely, if ever, the case, and he knows it. But he's trying to empathize. Injury in the face of a war in which you only have a marginal part to play is nothing new, and the news of loss pains him just as much now as it ever has.] This obvious loss aside, is he otherwise well?

[He's wary when the new message crops up, waiting for more jests and jeers and mockery at the expense of his brother, but the tone is sympathetic and there's no sense of a jape in it.]

As well as he can be. He broods too much, though he'll likely toss a chair at my head if I try to point that out to him.
