[Welcome to Jon's face. It's not a particularly happy face. In fact, it looks pretty sour at the moment. He really hates having to use the bracelet, but he has a very important announcement to make.]

This is a message to the gods that have stolen us and brought us here.

[He has no actual knowledge of who the gods are or if they even care about their charges, but as they seem to have more of a hand in the affairs of others than his own gods, he'll see if a direct approach works.]

During the... incident which had your blasted magic working ill against those you gave it to, my brother wound up losing his hand. Due to your ineptitude and this unwanted sorcery, he has a stump where a perfectly fine hand was before. What sort of gods give people powers they don't ask for? It's bad enough you've brought children here, but you seem not to care about the ill effects of your war on those that are hale enough here to fight it.

[The sour look is directed more intensely at the screen now.]

I insist you fix it. I've gone to your temples and asked for this, but as it's seemed to fall on deaf ears, perhaps you need it shouted in your face.

Fix my brother or you'll have me to deal with and Asgard's gods will join him in missing body parts.

You have it wrong. He is not dead, only asleep because even as gods, they are not without limits to their energy.

And her energy is likely spent trying to ensure that we do not all die because of another earthquake.

Look, lad, just because you're friends with these gods doesn't mean we all are. I'm not, and I'll not forgive them their actions against me and mine.

Assuming the best gets you killed. Whether it sticks here or not doesn't make you any less dead.

I'm not here to advocate for them, but at least be smarter when you're speaking ill of someone.

Perhaps if they take offense they'll maybe do something about their little problem.

Yeah, I'm certain they'll get right on that the moment their home is secure.

[snowcrow]

It would be secure more quickly if those they'd brought here to keep it safe were made whole.

Are you always this narrow-minded and selfish?

I've siblings here who shouldn't be. I've a brother who's dead back home and a... a lover who is as well. You'll have to excuse me if my concerns are with my family and not this place that's stolen me and them against our will.

And they see their family members fall, too. Their world is certainly in danger. And our worlds are, as well. What remains of our family won't exist if we do not succeed here.

And we have the word of kidnappers and liars. Yes, well, I'll be sure to get in line to believe them.
