[Steve's voice sounds clear and well rehearsed as he speaks into his bracelet, as if he had actually planned the speech before hand to avoid stumbling on his words. Which...he'll never admit to.]
This may sound strange, but I was wondering if anyone is at all skilled in sewing. I have something that needs patching up, but the damage is more than I'm able to fix myself. I would really appreciate it if someone would help me out. I'm willing to pay for the work, of course.
[This is a task he's been putting off, but as things move closer and closer to total warfare, he figures now is as good a time as any to have his uniform patched up.]
...If anyone has any tips on getting out blood stains, that would help a lot as well.

I'm afraid my sewing is perfunctory at best, but if no one else can help you, I'm willing to try.
[text]
I'm not looking for perfection. I doubt you could do any worse than I could. But I appreciate the offer and I'll keep you posted.

Maybe I can show you what I need fixed and you can decide whether or not you want to give it a try?

You mean for the blood? I've never heard that before but I'll give it a try. Thank you.

Never use hot water, only cold. Some fabrics are easier to clean than others, and the age of the stain is a factor.
audio
Would the water option still work in that case?

And for blood stains, cold water works best if it's fresh blood.

[Yeah, best. Not to ask how a kid of eleven would be familiar with that.]
Alice has helped me with it once before. Older Alice, I mean. And I know some sewing? I'm not the best at it but I could try help. I don't have a machine, so it'd be by hand, which takes longer though.

I just want it to be in wearable condition before the war really kicks off.

And cold water for blood stains. [That one he knew far too much about.]

That does seem to be a popular method. [Not the best for old stains though.]

No, it's the result of something that happened before I came here. What I need fixed-my uniform-is what I arrived in. I haven't picked any fights with anyone here.

And there are clothes shops here. They might be able to repair the other thing.

[ She's here all the same, a little hesitant, but - ]
Is this something that's likely to happen again, do you think? The bloodstains.
voice.
Well, for one things. These stains happened before my arrival here. I don't what you to think I've been out in the city brawling.
As for happening again...I can't say. We do have a war on the horizon after all.

If the stains have set for too long, you're better off procuring something new than trying to save something that will remain marked.
[Someone had to break the combo.]

It's not really something I can just get replaced so easily. [Not here anyways.]

[Of course he had a hand in designing Captain America's uniform. Someone had to make sure it was nearly indestructible.]
At least tell me your shield's still intact. If you managed to break that thing, I'm going to be a pretty weird combination of pissed off and extremely proud.
Video
It's fine as far as I know. [And he doesn't say anymore about it because he's not looking forward to admitting that he dropped his shield into the Potomac River.]
