[Steve's voice sounds clear and well rehearsed as he speaks into his bracelet, as if he had actually planned the speech before hand to avoid stumbling on his words. Which...he'll never admit to.]

This may sound strange, but I was wondering if anyone is at all skilled in sewing. I have something that needs patching up, but the damage is more than I'm able to fix myself. I would really appreciate it if someone would help me out. I'm willing to pay for the work, of course.

[This is a task he's been putting off, but as things move closer and closer to total warfare, he figures now is as good a time as any to have his uniform patched up.]

...If anyone has any tips on getting out blood stains, that would help a lot as well.

Sure. I have an afternoon of washing my uniform ahead of me, but that can wait. I can be there in ten, fifteen minutes.

[True to his word, Steve arrives at the park nearly fifteen minutes later with his uniform folded under his arm. He was careful to fold it in such a way that the blood stains weren't noticeable. The last thing he wants is to attract attention.]

[Alice is in the park, drawing idly in her notebook, though she's already summoned herself a basket of sewing supplies. She looks up when she sees the Captain and waves, smiling while her pet dragon is fast asleep in her lap.]

Good afternoon, captain!

[When he sees Alice he smiles and waves before walking over to her.]

Hello. [He glances down at the dragon in her lap.] Who is this?

[Marigold lifted his head and preened more like a bird and shifted his wings before laying his head back down on Alice's lap.]

This is Marigold! He's my pet dragon and my guardian. He goes with me everywhere.
