[Steve's voice sounds clear and well rehearsed as he speaks into his bracelet, as if he had actually planned the speech before hand to avoid stumbling on his words. Which...he'll never admit to.]

This may sound strange, but I was wondering if anyone is at all skilled in sewing. I have something that needs patching up, but the damage is more than I'm able to fix myself. I would really appreciate it if someone would help me out. I'm willing to pay for the work, of course.

[This is a task he's been putting off, but as things move closer and closer to total warfare, he figures now is as good a time as any to have his uniform patched up.]

...If anyone has any tips on getting out blood stains, that would help a lot as well.

Nothing. My uniform is a little worse for wear is all. [And he's been stalling in getting it fixed up.]

I just want it to be in wearable condition before the war really kicks off.

It doesn't have to. But it would make me feel better. [He's been fighting in his uniform for so long it would feel strange not to have it there.]

A few kind people have offered to take a look at it. And there seem to be a fair share of people here who are experts at removing blood stains.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but I am. A few of them I'm pretty sure are children.

They've likely seen a lot here.

( Sadly. She didn't want to think it was from their worlds, that they were involved in anything like that, but it was just as likely )

I'm sure they have. I'd just like to know whose idea it was to bring children into a war zone.

If it was a choice at all. We don't know how we're brought here, maybe no one chose them.

I suppose. It just makes you wonder how much control they actually have. Aren't they supposed to be gods?

But I guess if they had things under control they wouldn't need us.

It's unlikely they've had to do anything like this before, or the lack of control could be related to the situation.

( They weren't just taking people from Earth - Midgard, but everywhere. And it wasn't in the same manner that Thor had arrived and departed - it wasn't expected )

And if we succeed they won't ever have to do it again. At least that's the idea.
