This is not a punishment. I've been content to let you guys roam about and track mud through my house like misbehaving toddlers since Day One, and I'd be content to continue doing so until our business is done here. But isn't, and we don't have time to dick around anymore.

Thiazi's attack wasn't random. It was desperate and sloppy, which means one thing: she knows we're coming for her.

[ He wants to be viciously pleased with the idea of her panicking, but he is nothing close to amused right now. ]

The only way she could know that is if someone on the inside told her. We don't know who, and we don't know how, but we can't afford that kind of liability. These laws are in place to protect you. We can't fight a war on both sides of the wall.

[That much seems implied, or you know, kinda obvious. But...Clementine does worry this might potentially make things worse with everyone so paranoid as a result. She's seen how paranoid people get about bites back home, for example. Her new group was ready to leave her in a shed to die from hers overnight if she didn't do something herself. But most of this seems...reasonable.]

The main thing that worries me is the food. That everyone gets enough. And what about people with Growth that grow their own vegetables and things? And pets, their food? Also, I'm pretty sure basically everyone has a weapon of some sort. Is it just saying we have a weapon or weapons or do we need to list them?

[She's done the starving thing. It's not fun, okay? She just wants to be sure its fair. And hopes this works. She's seen firsthand what people get like thinking -- knowing there's a 'traitor' around. It wasn't pretty. Or nice. The actual person responsible wasn't even the one that was shot.]

We get enough to feed every mouth in the city. We just need to make sure they actually get fed. Growth users can keep whatever they grow, and any contributions they want to make can be given to the Supplies Coordinators. I really don't give a shit what you do with your pets.
