This is not a punishment. I've been content to let you guys roam about and track mud through my house like misbehaving toddlers since Day One, and I'd be content to continue doing so until our business is done here. But isn't, and we don't have time to dick around anymore.

Thiazi's attack wasn't random. It was desperate and sloppy, which means one thing: she knows we're coming for her.

The only way she could know that is if someone on the inside told her. We don't know who, and we don't know how, but we can't afford that kind of liability. These laws are in place to protect you. We can't fight a war on both sides of the wall.

There's something I want to ask you, Odin-san. It doesn't pertain to the new laws, don't have issue with that.

Does the mental state of either you or someone like Thiazi or Surt affect their magic?

Yes. Magic is a physical manifestation of our will. Any sort of disruption in our focus will affect the result.

The ice blocking the bridge, we want to try and remove it. If Thiazi is getting more and more unstable, and focusing on an outright attack, maybe the ice itself has gotten weaker.

Someone also brought up those that got bitten by the pixies. That maybe... they might have ability to touch the ice. Thoughts?

The ice is volatile. We've never seen anything like it before. I wouldn't advise touching it at all, unless their experience with getting bitten was terribly fun for them.

I didn't say it was a good idea, only that it was one. I can't say what will happen if they do touch it, but we are going to investigate it.

Uh... since it's on the bridge are we going to have to get permission for that?

Yes. Send me a list of everyone planning to investigate and I'll send some of mine with you.
