Maybe~. It certainly does bring my mind to your eyes, for which I'm eternally grateful. [A beat.] Is it terribly tactless to ask why your eyes are like that?

[ Yep, going to switch to private for this particular conversation. ]

It is... a complex thing to fully explain, but the short answer is that I was born saturated with an addictive substance that is impossible to avoid on my home planet. One of its effects is that over time it tints the eyes in this way.

[ Should she have mentioned this before letting him suck her blood? Probably, but for one thing she didn't know for sure that the Spice is still in her system here seeing as how she isn't dead, for another she is just manipulative like that. It might come in handy to have someone be literally addicted to you. ]
