Alright. Here's the deal.

[Nick's looking a bit more serious today, probably because that whole illness thing shook him up, though he would be loath enough to admit it. Being so helpless and watching people die around him- really, it's not like he cared, but the fact that he couldn't be in control while what was clearly an attack on the city was quite the horrible feeling indeed.

[But enough about that. He's making this post for quite a different reason. He hasn't figured out this filter thing yet, so he has to do the next best thing.]

I'm going to do a little poll right now. You see, I realized that when I got here that I wasn't the only inhuman species roaming around the place. So, here's the thing I want you to do for me- if you're not human, respond to me and tell me what you are and what's the deal behind your species, because I'm curious. Maybe there's something similar out there to what I am, I don't know.

...That being said, if you're homo sapien, human, whatever you call yourselves nowadays...don't bother answering. I've had enough of your kind enough in my life, alright? Get lost.

Okay, but really, what does that mean? Are you "Asgardians" really gods, or what?

You asked, I answered. Although it's worth mentioning that I'm not of this Asgard.

Is it that difficult a claim to believe? [ they're not; he's aware of that, but for as much as the term matters, the definition, in comparison to much of the universe: yes. or at least, as far as he's concerned. ] The universe is full of creatures, great and small. Surely gods aren't that much of a stretch to comprehend.

Really? Geez, how many Asgards are there?

Honestly, it is, but I guess I'm so used to how my world defines a "god" that I find it hard to believe the beings naming themselves as such her truly live up to that omnipresent, omniscient, and all-powerful being that so many people put faith in back home. I guess "gods" are just another name for a powerful sort of species, aren't they?

As many as there are universes, I suspect.

Even when talking about the omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent god of your world. It is a simpler term, is it not?

Yeah, it's a simpler term and all, but...it just makes me that less impressed in them, you know? You live your whole live expecting one thing but you're given another.

So...does that mean that you admit some gods are better at this magic thing than others? Like you, you have more knowledge, ability, and talent than the rest?

Typically, the Asgardians haven't devoted themselves to the study of magic. Loki excpected, the only one worthy of wariness is Odin himself.

Also,that brings up another question. How are these gods treating you? Like one of us, or higher in status?

Well, now. Guess they can't even extend a hand to their own kind, even if said kind is from another universe. How...cold, really.

Then again, having another Loki around must be really confusing, as well.

Confusing wouldn't be the word I'd use.

Planning? A grand assumption. I merely meant that Asgard has a history of not being entirely welcoming. Particularly for any named 'Loki'.
