[ sup Asgard, here's an oracle looking particularly pleased, and it's because she's ..particularly pleased with herself. or maybe just in general. it's hard to tell. but she's sitting on the floor of a bedroom ( hers? probably. but who knows. ), her bracelet being held up for a moment when the feed first clicks on before it's put on the floor in front of her. then she's kind of stretching but kind of not, leaning forward a little, pretty much just to avoid the most unflattering camera angle in the world. but she's too jittery to actually hold the camera up, so- right. anyway. ]
So I've been thinking. [ there's a pause, like she's imagining someone going 'uh oh' ] And I think what this city really, really needs is an art club. Or an art- something. Club sounds too much like high school. And that's not what I'm thinking of. Not really a class, but just a time and place where people can get together and make- stuff. Make art. There's a really great space in the Freyr district that's open to the public to use, and I've been going there just to draw and paint on my own, but I just keep thinking that it might be really cool if there was a whole group of us. And I already know there's a few people here who like art as much as I do, so I figured I'd bring it up. Because why not.
We don't even have to work on any projects together, specifically, but sometimes it's kind of nice surrounding yourself with people just creating things, right?
[ there's a pause, and she sighs a little sigh ] I know that there are a lot of really scary things going on, and I've found myself more caught up in them than I ever thought I would be. But our purpose here isn't just about fighting and sweating and bleeding to try and save the worlds, right? It's about bringing the color back.
And... Isn't that what art is for?
[ oo, so insightful, she might have practiced that one. then she's grinning again, a little mischievous ]
So... Let me know if you want in, okay? Oh, and if anybody wants a live model to paint, I've got just the man for the job. [ she's looking up past the camera now, reaching to shut it off as she does. ] Hey, Stiles-!

Oh... oh no you didn't. You did not just offer me up as some sort of... eye candy to doodle. This candy is limited edition. Part of a private collection, if you know what I mean. You know what I mean, don't you?

[ a pause.
...... ]
They put it on display, Stiles. They put it on display for the whole world to see.

Is that- do you paint? [ this is Rachel trying so hard not to be insecure. and she's not, generally speaking, but there's a tiny chance that she might be feeling a little ping of it right now ]

[ yo don't even get Rachel started on the amount of hoops she's had to jump when it comes to public displays of art pfft. well, back in NYC at least. but anyway. ]
I'm guessing private property, as usual, is off limits. ..Most public property too.
[ a beat ]
Why don't you just throw paint at the walls in your room? That's what I did.

Of course. The more artistic minds the better, I say. Big group sessions can be pretty great.

Anyone, please, anyone and everyone. I wasn't thinking of it as a skill thing so much as a- giving people an outlet thing.

[Best thing Kanji's heard in a good few days, that's for sure. ...Though it's a good job that he can't be seen blushing from the bit about models.]
Audio:
Yeah? I'm glad you think so. I wasn't anticipating it to be a power-related thing, but I just met someone else with Drawing Life, and there's at least one other person besides me and you that have it, so maybe we can use it to practice sometimes. Even if it's separate from the art club thing I'm trying to get together here.

[ she's actually really genuinely excited. her thinking is that the bigger the group, the better chance that getting together like this really will help somehow. for them each individually, and for the sake of bringing more color back ]
Although now I'm starting to realize I should have asked people if they have supplies, or need them. Maybe the paint shop can help us out a bit for our first get-together, or maybe put together a sort of starter kit people can buy.

The school is very much in need of such extracurricular activities, Miss Dare, if you were interested in organising such a thing.

So what happens if something we draw accidentally comes to life and it's probably something that should have stayed as a drawing? Just thought I'd put that out there. I like to think we're all smart individuals, but that's like assuming that some of us aren't kind of little shits.
[Audio]
Which makes it ..not an accident, so.
Maybe I'll preface the session with a "please draw responsibly, just in case".
