[ sup Asgard, here's an oracle looking particularly pleased, and it's because she's ..particularly pleased with herself. or maybe just in general. it's hard to tell. but she's sitting on the floor of a bedroom ( hers? probably. but who knows. ), her bracelet being held up for a moment when the feed first clicks on before it's put on the floor in front of her. then she's kind of stretching but kind of not, leaning forward a little, pretty much just to avoid the most unflattering camera angle in the world. but she's too jittery to actually hold the camera up, so- right. anyway. ]
So I've been thinking. [ there's a pause, like she's imagining someone going 'uh oh' ] And I think what this city really, really needs is an art club. Or an art- something. Club sounds too much like high school. And that's not what I'm thinking of. Not really a class, but just a time and place where people can get together and make- stuff. Make art. There's a really great space in the Freyr district that's open to the public to use, and I've been going there just to draw and paint on my own, but I just keep thinking that it might be really cool if there was a whole group of us. And I already know there's a few people here who like art as much as I do, so I figured I'd bring it up. Because why not.
We don't even have to work on any projects together, specifically, but sometimes it's kind of nice surrounding yourself with people just creating things, right?
[ there's a pause, and she sighs a little sigh ] I know that there are a lot of really scary things going on, and I've found myself more caught up in them than I ever thought I would be. But our purpose here isn't just about fighting and sweating and bleeding to try and save the worlds, right? It's about bringing the color back.
And... Isn't that what art is for?
[ oo, so insightful, she might have practiced that one. then she's grinning again, a little mischievous ]
So... Let me know if you want in, okay? Oh, and if anybody wants a live model to paint, I've got just the man for the job. [ she's looking up past the camera now, reaching to shut it off as she does. ] Hey, Stiles-!

That's completely different.
[ then she's scooting around to face him, and all she's really got is a good view of his shins, but ah well. she reaches to tuck her hand behind one of his ankles, pulling his foot onto her knee ( no, Hale, not so you can eat his socks ) just so she can try her hand at pressing her thumbs into the sole of his foot. she's not going to apologize for what she said in her post, but maybe she feels a little bad for making him think she was laughing at his -package. so. footrub! even though she's going to just continue talking like nothing's even happening ]
I'd still like it if you came just to hang out, at least. I like having you around when I'm painting.
no subject
That... I might be able to come do. I like watching you paint. You get this look on your face...
[He smiled at the thought of it, how she looked like she was concentrating so intensely. And the occasional bit of her tongue poking out.]
no subject
What look? Are you about to tease me for my painter's face?
[ she knows what he's talking about, vaguely. it's the same way that guitarists and drummers made faces while they played music, artists kind of had the same habits. ]
no subject
[He was lying there, mind flitting off as it did when he wasn't concentrating on anything intently. No meds and being happy had him sort of... all over the place sometimes. He thought about how weird it was that he'd found the love of his life in some alternate universe, off-shoot thoughts thinking about how to make sure she came home with him when all this was done... all while enjoying the fact that she was touching him, just because she could.]
no subject
[ ... no, she wasn't expecting that. so she's caught off-guard, for a second. ]
Well, good. Because faces are a crucial part of the artistic process. You can ask anybody that.
[ her thumb moves up to circle over the ball of his foot, just under his big toe, and she's trying. so hard. not to make a comment. about the size of his feet. it's just a boy foot, it's not a big deal. anatomy. right. bodies.
... yeah, no, there's no rationalizing this. he isn't just a boy, he's Stiles, so her brain is going there, and she's glad he can't see the smile on her face as she continues to rub ]
You and Scott should get a lacrosse team together or something. I'd go to all your games.
[ preeeen! ]

Nah, I don't think I want to be riding the bench here as well as back home. But I do warm a great bench. My butt is perfectly conducive to keeping the wood at the perfect temperature.
[That still felt good, and he might have made a little sigh because... that felt good.]
no subject
no subject
Do you ogle my butt at work?
[Because that was kind of cool.]
no subject
-- Is that a trick question?
no subject
Seriously? You ogle my butt at work. That's...
[Awesome. Fantastic. Ego primping.]
I love you.
no subject
[ she's probably pushing her luck here, but- ]
But it's not just at work, Stilinski.
no subject
[Yeah, he's kind of grinning like an idiot. His foot jiggles in her hands a bit.]
Can I ask where else?
no subject
Anytime, really. There's a reason I told you to go up the stairs first before.
no subject
You're kidding, right? Really? I guess that means I have an okay butt, huh?
no subject
I happen to love it. And I'm glad you're okay with my constant need to check you out.
[ very nonchalant, though her thumbs start to press a little harder, just to test the waters. footrubs didn't really count if you weren't doing it hard enough, right? so ]
no subject
Mm... well, as long as you don't mind that I return the favor. Tenfold.
[Because yes, he ogled her. He ogled her in the morning. He ogled her in the afternoon. He ogled her all night. He ogled her butt, her face, her legs, her-- ahem. He liked it all.]
Hey, why don't you come up here? Up here where I am.
no subject
But if I sit up there, then I can't be sitting down here.
[ logic! his feet are down here. plus, she's still not great at standing up when Hale is around her shoulders. it's a whole balance thing, she's not that graceful about it, it's embarrassing. ]
no subject
[She was spoiling him and it was supposed to be the other way around. It was just... really hard to complain when she did that because... god, that felt good.]
Cuddles?
no subject
We can, in a little bit. [ one of her hands leaves his foot just to brush lightly at the bottom of the other one. tickling? no her never ] I still have your other foot. Can't just- neglect it. I'd feel really bad. For your foot.
no subject
You know, if this is how Greek girls treat their boyfriends, maybe I should get another one. Greek guys had harems, right? Is there another oracle I can defile and add to my collection?
[This might hurt...]
no subject
it gets reeled in after a second, even if her expression is still WILDLY OFFENDED, SIR ]
You know I'm the only one. Which means you are baiting me, that is so. rude.
[ and maybe she's taptaptaptapping her fingers over the foot that isn't in her lap, even a her eyes are still up on Stiles because oh yeah he's getting the glare, 100%. but she's tapping just to see, maybe, if Hale will go for it. go ahead Hale eat his sock. ]
no subject
But he's also trying so hard not to fall into a fit of giggles --
and failing.]
I am baiting you. My little Rachel fishy. Because I want you to get that adorably offended butt up here with me instead of doing the whole catering thing. That's my job. If anyone's giving foot rubs around here, it should be me.
no subject
[ Hale does end up jumping down from her shoulders, but just ends up butting at her hand. what? what's going on here, why are your fingers doing that? apparently Stiles' sock isn't up to his worn-in standards. ]
And I'm not a fish!
[ ... even if saying that makes her death glare decidedly less glarey and more of a pout. ]
no subject
You're a cute fish. You're like... a little cute handsy fish. Like a lion fish. With red spikes. They're poisonous, you know. Gorgeous and lethal.
[He was sitting up again, hands moving to grab a strand of hair and tug on it.]
C'mere, my little lion fishy girl. Or would you rather be a mermaid. Because I can be down with that.
no subject
[ she's trying so hard to be offended now, especially once he's sitting up and can get the full effect of her angry expression. look how mad she is! this isn't adorable! it's terrifying! Medusa could take a lesson from her! but then he's tugging one of her curls and it's one of those fond things he does, and her brain makes that connection, playing with her curls is sweet.
but that doesn't make up for his liberal use of the word 'defile' and 'harem' ]
Merpeople, in my world, have blue skin and glowing green eyes and they're really intimidating. [ tiny bit deadpan, or maybe she's distracted.. ] Because they have teeth like sharks. Which they use to lash out at their enemies when they least ex-pect it! [ which is what Rachel's doing, reaching forward to grab him by his biceps and attempt to yank him down on the floor with her. which might hurt, and it definitely makes Hale get all loud and flustered, but oh well. revenge! ]
