It might be odd, but the fact they were able to bring us here shows that at least everyone's world is connected to this one.

Though after being here for so long and coming to know what both side are capable fo, I do believe what the gods claim.

[ Her world is not one that the myth permeated to, though she has known many other religions to have similar notions of how the world would eventually come to its end. ] The illness was more rampant in those early days, when you first arrived?

[He sighs, frowning slightly as he speaks to her.]

Everything in the city was grey animals, plants, the sky and the people. The all the locals were faceless and seemingly apathetic. [It was honestly unsettling getting use to it all.] The only thing protecting us from the same sort of fate are the bracelets. Nowadays it isn't as bad though.

That is... [ Horrifying? She trails off, shaking her head. ] So that much may be true, our presence has brought color back to Asgard. [ Somehow. Her gaze travels down to her bracelet, twisting it on her wrist. ] Are the giants not affected?

The gray only effects this city, no where else and the giants seem to be immune to it. In fact, I'm pretty sure it was one of the giant's leaders that cast this curse, even if I don't have solid proof.

[He grimaces just thinking about what that being has done.]

That would be the queen of the frost giants, Thiazi.

I have heard that name. [ From the bracelet's records. She looks back at the screen again, catching the grimace. ] She means to save her own people and leave us all to die at the end of the world? [ Not a tale she likes, though she refuses to see the similarities. ]

Both leaders wish to do so, but Thazi is the type to try to kill one mentally, emotional, and spiritual before going after the body. She as her title just is as cold and cruel as ice.

Ice and fire. [ Tonelessly. Ragnarok has no meaning, but this almost does. She just doesn't really know why. ] The two are allies in this, but no ice giants came to aid Surt's forces at Alfheim.

I think in some ways they are allies only in wanting Asgard destroyed. Other then that, from what I've seen they don't exactly get along with each other, even in battle or for aid.

[ Then their alliance is no stronger than this one. It's something. ] And the gods themselves - they are all of similar mind? [ Or do they have their own squabbles and internal alliances? ]
