He is in his room, which is covered in photographs of several people (some are gone from Asgard), and on the shelves, every single present he has received is there totally untouched and kept safe (no, he doesn't use the presents). The ceiling of his bedroom is black and it has the Asgardian sky, the moon and the stars painted on it. There are also awful lot of mistletoes hanging around. ]

Hello Asgard, I am Kaworu Nagisa. [ he has no idea how these things go, so he will just keep talking ] I do not understand people for I am essentially different from you. Every day I learn something about you, and it’s fascinating, but I still feel it’s not enough. We are far too different, you and I. So I ask a lot, about everything I can because I wish to know you, to understand you, to comprehend you. I love you, after all. [ he does. He really, REALLY, does. ]

But I was told one isn’t so quick to talk about themselves without the other doing the same. Conversations should not be one sided. [ but to be honest, Kaworu finds that to be untrue because he has talked and got to know about many without ever giving any sort of information back ] So I wish to try something else.

Let’s talk. Just talk. I will talk about myself too, unless you would rather just talk about you. [ he doesn’t mind! He prefers to focus on others rather than himself, after all ]

I am what humans call "Angel" and we not have the same emotional understanding Lilin do. While my kind does feel a big range of emotions, what we perceive as one emotion, Lilin see it different. [ usually Kaworu would leave this like that and add no more.

But- he did say he'd speak a little about himself, didn't he? ]

Such as kindness. For example, finding a baby cat on the streets without a mother, we would kill it so we'd spare it from suffering. Lilin rarely consider this option and instead would prefer to let the animal live because it has a chance of survival, even if slim. I admit, though, my own perception has changed with time, thus I do agree with the later option more than the first.

That's a bit sweeping, isn't it? Generally assuming we're all very different from you. If you don't say much about who you are how could anyone be sure? I'm not the same as more than half the people here but I'm very similar to others. So do you mean people as a term for everyone in Asgard or do you just mean you're not human? Just trying to clear it all up because a lot of people aren't.

[He does, however, raise an eyebrow.]

And you can't love everyone, not everyone is loveable. Unless you're literally conditioned to love everyone, in which case I can see why you're very different.

I don't mean individually, for I don't see myself individually. That is one of the things that makes me different. Ultimately, I'm a being that was created as part of a whole and my kind exists as such. With no sense of individuality, we exist as one, thus we do not fear death, mourn, or even have what you call "self-preservation". What we do is for the whole, not for ourselves.

And I do love you. However, as a whole, not individually. I do not care if one of you dies, but I will do everything in my power to save you all, if I can, even if that means my own death.

Umm... I'm having a good day and I'm doing well! I laughed recently because Hiroaki was playing around and accidentally fell off of my bed, but since he landed on a carpet he's alright. I haven't gotten mad at anything, though...

And the gift I got from the gods was a tea set! It looks similar to my favorite one from home, even if the design is a little different. What about you, Kaworu-san?

Humans call my kind angels. The biggest difference between us would the that my kind does not see itself individually and that we are unable to develop or change.

[Despite being an angel himself, Castiel isn't used to angels that are... Angelic, in the way that Kaworu is. The post suddenly makes some thing make sense, and in contrast to the opinions of some of the people who have replied, he finds the statement of broad love to reassuring rather than unsettling; it truly does explain why Kaworu asks so many questions, and is nothing sinister. Castiel is much more used to questioning being dangerous, or for some terrible motive, rather than genuine interest.

That instantly makes him a little less standoffish than usual, and he actually replies to some of the questions.]

An issue I was having was resolved, at least for the moment, so today is going relatively well. I received paints from the gods.

I'm glad to hear that. But why "for the moment"? Is it something that will eventually arise again?

My existence is meant to be different from yours. Why Lilin hold dear their individuality, growth, chance, building of civilization, my kind does not; instead, we live as a whole without individuality and without any sort of growth.

This leads us to feel things differently.
