I hope everyone is alright. And I hope those who left the city for a while enjoyed their time. [ "Hippie camp", that's what Samantha called it. Which brings the obvious question: ] What are hippies?

[ but either way, the point of this post is something else ]

I am also curious and would like to know if any of you knows anything about beings by the name of "Angels". The version you know from your world, at least. What you know about them, if they exist or if they are just stories. Anything you'd remember.


[ and now that is out of the way, finally there is another question. It has been a while since he has been philosophical, right? ]

And- if you don't mind answering, tell me: how many people know you? People that really know you, beyond your favorite color, favorite book or favorite song. Who knows what lurks in the depths of your mind, what captivates your soul and why? Who knows your passions, your fears, your desires? Who knows all these things about you and still accepts you, anyway? Still accepts you regardless.

I think hippies are people who believe in peace and love over fighting. I don't know what they have to do with our experiences in that forest, though. As for your second question, I've heard stories of angels. They're heavenly beings, who came down to Earth to deliver news. I don't know much of the specifics-you're better off asking someone else.

As for your final question...sometimes it's better for people to not know you.

[Turlough chuckles slightly because he talked with Samantha, he knows what Kaworu's referencing.] It's a long story. But, to put it briefly, what we drank didn't really agree with some of us.

From what I know, the angels were just stories. And as for why I think that...experience, mostly.

It was something people called peace-lovers that lived away from the main culture and got into a lot of mind-altering drugs and open sexual practices. Not sure how much these guys were the same. Definitely had the drugs and peace-ways down.

I think we talked in the past about angels in my world, didn't we?

There are a lot of people who believe in them where I'm from, though speaking for myself I really couldn't say. They're supposed to be messengers or guardian spirits, and they usually look like regular people, but with great big wings and halos above their heads.

Hippie is a culture thing. It's always sort of been around but it grew during the 1960's as a youth movement, and it stands for love, peace and freedom. A sort of protest against the structural society and war and all that. Laid back sort of bunch, for the most part.
